From the New York Times bestselling author of the Wind Dragons and Cursed Ravens MC series comes sinners, saints and secrets… Dear Skylar, Five years. That’s a long time to go without talking to somebody, especially someone who was such a huge part of your life… A letter from my first kiss and my childhood everything…from prison. He may be nicknamed Saint, but this sweet, sexy … prison.
He may be nicknamed Saint, but this sweet, sexy biker most definitely has a wild streak. Hearing from him draws me right back into the Knights of Fury motorcycle club–the people I’ll always think of as family.
He’s still the only man I’ve ever wanted.
Each good, old-fashioned letter from my “prison pen pal” has my heart racing. Which is nothing compared to how I feel when Saint surprises me in person, as a free man.
I was just a kid the last time we saw each other, but the connection between us now is anything but innocent.
He’s the type of man who would do anything to protect his woman. And with my world crashing down around me, that’s exactly what I’m going to need.

A strong, loyal and brave woman in Skylar.

A very entertaining with drama and action story.
Ok first off this book has ALL the feels to it. It may not be a very gritty MC book, but there is a rawness to all the emotions that are swirled into it. This is the first book in a new series, and I enjoyed it while shedding a year or two. As in most MC stories there is some action mixed in with some angst.
In the beginning we meet Skylar. She has a huge crush on Saint who happens to be give years older than her. Unbeknownst to her, her life is about to change drastically. Her mother who is a crazy a$$ b#$ch decides to pack them up and leave the only life Sky has ever really known. Let’s fast forward a few years, and Sky receives a letter from her long lost crush Saint. When they meet back up their feelings rekindle, and Sky’s life finally starts to fall into place. Everything that has been kept from her comes to light.
Most of the book is Sky getting reacquainted with the MC. I have no problem with this, as it is the first book in the series. We get introduced to many of the brothers, and I can not wait to see how their lives are going to change once their women show up.

Sky was raised for a good part of her childhood in the MC life. When her mother and step-father break up, she loses that family as well as Saint, the man she had a crush on. Now, five years later, Sky is living pay check to pay check, hasn’t heard from the man that considered himself her father, and only talks to her mother once a week when she has to. When out of the blue a letter from Saint shows up, Sky starts to realize that maybe just maybe her “family” did want her. When she starts to question things, her mother shuts her down. Sky decides that maybe its time for a reunion of sorts, and get her questions answered. Problem is will the answers she get be the ones that she wants?
YAY, a new series to love! I have found that I really enjoy Chantal Fernando’s work. Always entertaining and filled with loads of drama, heartbreak, nice naughty bits, and some violence. I give this 4 stars.

The beginning of a new series sees Skylar returning to the place she grew up, looking for answers as to why no one came looking for her after her mum abruptly made her leave 5 years earlier, and what happened to make her leave in the first place. She thought at least maybe Hammer, the man she thought of as her dad, would come looking for her but instead, as MC President, he put the club first and let her leave. She is determined to find out the truth though, and is planning to see Hammer, then search out Saint; a member of the MC that she had crushed on through most of her teenage years. When Saint makes an appearance, she soon discovers her feelings weren’t unreciprocated after all, Saint just wanted to wait for her to grow up. Will Skylar and Saint get the chance to be together after all this time apart? Will she get the answers she’s looking for? Will she even be able handle the truth?
I really enjoyed this and yet again Chantal Fernando looks to be writing another great MC series. I can’t wait for the next one and to see where she’s going to take it. I give Saint 4 stars.
Very Good start to a series and I can’t wait to see where this series takes us. The author has given us a great storyline with awesome characters. Being the first book of the series the author gave us an inside glimpse at all the bikers that make up the Knights of Fury MC as well as all five of Hammer’s (the Prez) step kids. This story is mainly about Minx. She was very young when her mother got together with Hammer. Minx always considered Hammer her dad and was treated as such. Minx was close to tall the MC brothers but she had a huge crush on Saint. But at age 16 disaster hit. Her mother leaves Hammer, taking Minx not only away from club life but also away from Hammer and Saint.
The story takes off 5 years later when now 21 year old Minx decides to move home. She reconnects with her brothers, Hammer, the MC brothers and Saint. A lot has happened and changed since she’s been gone but the clubs love for her and her them is still strong, especially her connection with Saint. Minx still feels the pull to him and wants him as much now as she always had. But when Minx learns the reason behind why she was forced to leave with her mother all those years ago and several things that have gone down with Saint, she is devastated. No one fought for her back then; no one thinks she can handle the truth about her life then and now in regards to the club and it’s members. So what happens when the truth starts to come to light. Will Minx cut ties with the MC, will she leave Saint and Hammer behind and move on with her life?
This is a wonderful read. I felt like it dragged a little at times but I feel like the author was trying to give us a good glimpse of all characters, as this is the first book of the series, rather than totally focus on the main characters. But this By NO MEANS took away from the book, Saint and Minx’s story or my enjoyment of it. I highly recommend Saint and I am anxiously awaiting book 2 of the series. 2 Thumbs Up!!
Actually, I am surprised at this story. It is definitely MC-lite. Not a lot of a MC action and not all of the roughness of motorcycle clubs I come to expect from Ms. Fernando’s books. It is a very nice and sweet story of young love. My favorite parts were Sky with Hammer and their relationship. Those were poignant and emotional. As usual, Ms. Fernando pulls out all of the guns at the end of the story. I need stock in tissue.
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher through NetGalley.
What a start to this MC series! While Skylar was not born in the MC life, she grew up in it through her mother’s relationship with the man she considered her father, Hammer. When the two get into a fight and break up, Skylar is moved away from the only father she knew at sixteen. After five years away, she hears from Saint, the man that she crushed on the majority of her childhood at the MC, and the questions she always had become more prominent to find answers to as an adult. Taking the challenge and moving back to the city, she goes back to her roots and is welcomed with open arms. When her mother finds out where she returns to, Hammer informs everyone of all the secrets and reasons they split five years ago, causing Skylar to not know who to trust or what to think. Going with her gut, she remains with Saint, but when her mother comes back into her life, it’s not with good intentions. This was such an epic book and I love that Chantal was able to give us a full story while also introducing us to the characters that future books will likely focus on. A combination of suspense and romance and a range of emotions while reading; well done!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Chantal has a brand new biker series and I’m so happy. This is an author who blends the drama of the MC with the emotions of a love story perfectly . As this is the first book in the series the author takes time to introduce us to all the guys in the MC so we get a good sense of who they are and the club dynamics.
I have to say Saint was everything in this story. He’s the full package, protective, supportive and loving but still a total bad ass. Skylar is a sweet young woman brought up with the MC but ripped away from them by a character i thoroughly disliked. Skylar Is what I would call a battle no matter what life throws at her she makes the best of it. She’s been independent for so long that accepting help from others isn’t easy. I really admired her when she was trying to retain her sense of self.
Told mainly in Skylar’s POV I would have liked to hear more from Saint but I’m sure as the series progresses we’ll hear more from him.

3.75 stars– SAINT is the first instalment in Chantal Fernando’s contemporary, adult KNIGHTS OF FURY MC romance series. This is MC member Thorn ‘Saint’ Benson, and Skylar O’Connor’s story line.
Told from first person point of view (Skylar) SAINT follows several years in the life of Skylar O’Connor, from a ten year old girl who fell in love with an older boy, to a woman who struggles with her place in the family. At sixteen years of age, having never known her biological father Skylar;s mother pulled our heroine from the only man she ever called dad, a man who would sacrifice everything for Skylar’s life. At age twenty-one, tired of her mother’s secrets and lies, Skylar heads back to the place she calls home, including the man she has always loved. Enter MC member Thorn ‘Saint’ Benson. What ensues is the rekindling relationship and romance between Saint and Skylar, and the potential fall-out as Skylar becomes collateral damage in a war between MC clubs.
For more than ten years Skylar had dreamt about our story line hero, a man she would promise everything and more but Saint’s past is about to be revealed, a past Skylar struggles to accept in the face of even more lies.
The relationship between Skylar and Saint is a ‘second chance’ of sorts. At sixteen years of age, Skylar was ripped away from the people she loved but never stopped thinking about the day she would return. Leaving behind the only father she ever knew, and the boy that would one day be the man that she loved, Skylar left her life behind, and ventured towards her own happily ever after. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top sexually graphic language and text.
SAINT introduces the Kings of Fury MC: President Xavier ‘Hammer’ Dixon, Vice President Temper, Renegade aka Renny, and Wade ‘Dee’ Simpson; Skylar’s best friend Max; her brothers Logan, Seth, Brooks, Axel and Smith, as well as their mother Georgia O’Connor.
SAINT is a story of betrayal, vengeance, second chances and love. The premise is engaging and captivating; the characters are sassy, colorful and energetic; the romance is steamy and hot. The level of angst is low; the MC lifestyle is mostly hidden from the reader-the usual dark and gritty violence remains behind the scenes or is only revealed a little at a time.
A Big Hit!!!
This is the first of the Knights of Fury MC series and it was a total hit!! Skylar had grown up in the MC with the only father she ever knew who happened to be the Prez of the Knights. Hammer and Skylar had a great relationship while her mother was a woman who looked out for herself more than anything. At a young age Sky had a huge crush on Saint who was one of the bikers at the clubhouse but he knew that their 5 year age difference was something he didn’t want to mess with if he valued his life. Saint and Skylar did have a bond made from friendship though. At age 16 Sky’s mom and Hammer had a falling out with her mom taking Sky from the only family she ever knew.
Five years later and its finally time that Sky goes back to the clubhouse to see why everyone who said they loved her never came to find out how she was doing. Sky had a rough life with her mother not helping one bit when she turned 18. Now back in the city and at the clubhouse she is learning many of the secrets that her mother had kept from her. Saint no longer has to worry about their age difference and those two take off from there. Their connection from earlier turns into so much more and the chemistry they had was hot!
This story is full of twists and turns and has your heart both soaring and breaking. This was an excellent book that I couldn’t put down. Great characters and I can’t wait to read what’s next in this series!!
School girl crush turned opportunity for love!?! Saint – he is not but what a catch! If you aren’t upset by the whole MC thing…
Saint is the start of the Knights of Fury series. Start with the sexy and sweet and lead us into Renny’s story…Though I had been hoping for Temper to be next. I just hope Renegade is going after the woman next door!
We shall see….
5+ Stars
Wow, this book was amazing and had everything I expect from a good MC book. Ashely Lane’s writing flowed wonderfully and she portrayed her characters perfectly flaws and all. I literally couldn’t put this book down, this being her debut book it is an excellent one.
This is Priest and Willow’s story. The characters are so enigmatic and true to life, Willow has had such a tragic life as it is and then she happens upon something that threatens her future even more. Holding on by a thread this woman is in desperate need of help. I was so drawn to Willow, her problems made me feel her desperation and her need, my heart went out to this poor woman.
Priest is harbouring secrets from a past that he is trying to forget but he keeps reliving the moments in his mind, constantly hanging around like a bad smell, guilt is the devil that sits on his shoulders. When Priest encounters Willow for the first time little does he know how this woman will change the course of his life with lots of secrets unravelling bit by bit along the way.
Tension, angst galore, brutal moments to make you hold your breath, sadness and hope all come together, as well as love, devotion and loyalty to make this story just perfect. Each character: Patch, Bullet, Angel, and Demon will get to tell their own stories in future books and I really cannot wait to get to know them better and find out what makes them the men they are today.
A totally awesome and addictive story that I totally recommend!!!
From the moment they met Sky and Saint had a connection, one that could be felt bone deep, but with her younger age, and the fact that her father would kill him if he made any sort of move in her direction, Saint kept things purely in the friend zone.
But now is a completely different story, five plus years have passed, and she is old enough to make her own decisions, and she wants a shot with him. He has waited a long time for her and he doesn’t plan on letting anything or anyone get in their way. Little do they both know, danger is lurking, and Sky is their target.
I have no doubt that readers will love this newest offering from Ms. Fernando! Within it’s pages Saint comes brimming with heart-string tugging emotion that’ll squeeze the heart in all the right places, and a touch of mystery that’ll have you on the edge of your seat! I loved meeting this couple, their story had me mesmerized from beginning to end, and their chemistry was downright sizzling, I felt the heat between them simmering consistently page after page. This well crafted page-turner kicks off the new Knights of Fury series, and if this is any indication of what is to come, I know there will be more good reading up ahead. I highly recommend you get your hands on this one, it has everything you’d want in a story… and much, much more!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, via NetGalley, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
An awesome beginning of a new series filled with deception, betrayal and jealousy.
Skylar O’Connor grew up in the Knight of Fury MC lifestyle with the members and Hammer as her mother boyfriend. Hammer treated her like a father with love and protection in which her mother was incapable of providing due to her egotistical actions. Skylar is lied to and taken from the MC family after her mother and Hammer ends their relationship at the age of sixteen. Fast forward a few years, she begins to receive letters from Saint but was met with unanswered questions and regrets as her mother was more distant than before. Her failures and struggles was a resolution to moving back home that resulted in secrets, lies and disappointment in her mother reason for moving away but Hammer love for her was unconditional. The mental deranged mother along with Saint past was a challenge to Skylar and Saint’s new relationship but it was worth the fight. IMO, Skylar should’ve stood her ground with her toxic mother.
This was a fast-paced, twisted and great introduction to the new characters in the Knights of Fury MC the series will focus on.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Review Copy via Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
The Queen of MC stories does it again! I am not sure how, but each series and each book are so different even though they are all set in an MC. Saint is my newest favorite! Saint in Skylar’s story is amazing! It’s not easy, but these two finding their way to each other is beautiful (in that angsty MC kind of way)! As always Chantal Fernando wrote a five-star read!
Skylar had lived with her step-dad and mom and the Knights of Fury until she was sixteen, until one day her mom took her away and she never saw or heard from them again.
It’s years later and Skylar is now an adult, she rarely see’s her mom now, then one day she receives a letter from Saint, a guy she had a crazy crush on who’s now in prison. Skylar and Saint were pretty good friends, he was older than her but she didn’t care, just being close was good enough….until she left, why did they let her mom take her?
I did enjoy Saint. I felt the story a little rushed at times and under developed. The chemistry between them was a little..so-so..too. A fairly good read!
Saint is a surprise MC read that plays with the readers emotions and holds onto their heart. While I thought I was getting a gritty, dark MC romance what I really got was a sweet, family drama revolving around an MC.
When I was reading this story (and I will be honest I don’t like emotional stories), I was a bit upset as the kindness, caring, heart and love the characters in this book had for each other. I tend to gravitate towards the darker MC stories with no emotions and a lot of dark violence. However, after finishing and stepping back for a few days I am really happy that I had the chance to read this book and want more from this world… emotions and all.
I thought the main character, Skylar was too childish and selfish at times and she was my biggest disappointment. After refection I realized that she is a product of her upbringing and cut her some slack. Now Saint on the other hand, was a heartfelt man who found love and held on. He was strong and bold but was nothing but caring and loving. Such a different man then I am used to liking.
As I stated earlier, this book (to me at least) was more of a family drama with some MC thrown in. There was no really grit or darkness. I did get so attached to a few characters that I did cry at one point. I loved the way the story developed and grew and the ending both gutted me and had me swooning slightly.
If I had one complaint about this story, it would be that I felt there were some gaps that the author could have filled in with more details. It felt rushed in places where I needed a bit more development to fully connect with the characters. I would have liked more of Saint and Skylar in their childhood relationship and more in the prison letters, if I am to be specific.
Overall I am happy to have read this story and found my self a new author. I look forward to more from this world and can’t wait to see who gets a story next. I received an ARC via NetGallery and I am leaving an honest review.
#NewGallery #Saint #MCRomance #sweet
3.5 stars. A good, low angst MC read. Skylar has had a crush on Saint for as long as she can remember and after five years apart, will time make a difference? Throw in a few twists and turns that keeps you hooked until the end.
I tend to enjoy this author and I did with this new series too. We meet Sky who was raised with bikers (The Knights) til the age of 16, when her mother and I seriously name that woman that lightly forcibly takes her away from the father that she has always known and loved and also leaving her heart behind with Saint. Saint was 5 years older than Sky and she was also the Presidents daughter so he knew that he could not go there and would not go there but he knew that he had a connection to her. Years later when Sky receives a letter from Saint who is in prison she questions everything that she knew because these people that claimed they loved her had abandoned her and she sets out to find out the truth. My only issue is that I felt that her mom got away scott free.
Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author..(netgalley) voluntarily reviewed with my own thoughts and opinions
A Saint amongst the brothers?
Skylar’s mom marries a man who is the Prez of the Knights of Fury MC when she is a young girl. Being the youngest of six and the only girl, Hammer showers her with attention. There is one other man amongst the brothers that she feels a strong connection to and that is Saint, but because she’s a teenager she accepts her crush might not go anywhere, especially when she sees all the women gravitate towards him When she’s sixteen something goes wrong and her mother demands that they leave the clubhouse. She doesn’t want to leave and doesn’t feel as though she had a choice.
Five years later Sky receives a letter from Saint, while he’s in prison and it puts her on a path to finding out what happened when she was sixteen and to take control of her future Saint has never forgotten Sky and when he writes to her, never expects the outcome it could have had
I absolutely loved this first story in the series and I’m super excited for Renegade’s story next. A big thank you to Chantal, Netgalley and the published for my advanced copy for which I leave my honest review
I could not put this book down because once it pulled me in from the first page, it just wouldn’t let me go. This couple were not only cute together, but steamed up the pages with the connection they have. I laughed, I cried, and my heart pounded with angst while reading this book. Saint gave me all the feels. I loved this new family. Chantal Fernando brought us an amazing new MC series! I cannot wait for future books coming our way.
