From the New York Times bestselling author of the Wind Dragons and Cursed Ravens MC series comes sinners, saints and secrets… Dear Skylar, Five years. That’s a long time to go without talking to somebody, especially someone who was such a huge part of your life… A letter from my first kiss and my childhood everything…from prison. He may be nicknamed Saint, but this sweet, sexy … prison.
He may be nicknamed Saint, but this sweet, sexy biker most definitely has a wild streak. Hearing from him draws me right back into the Knights of Fury motorcycle club–the people I’ll always think of as family.
He’s still the only man I’ve ever wanted.
Each good, old-fashioned letter from my “prison pen pal” has my heart racing. Which is nothing compared to how I feel when Saint surprises me in person, as a free man.
I was just a kid the last time we saw each other, but the connection between us now is anything but innocent.
He’s the type of man who would do anything to protect his woman. And with my world crashing down around me, that’s exactly what I’m going to need.

Saint by Chantal Fernando is a quick MC romance that is on the lighter side. Sky had loved being a part of the Knights of Fury MC, but her mother took her away and she thought she was forgotten. Then she receives a letter from Saint, someone she was close too and begins to question so many things and decides to go back. Saint was all kinds of sexy, charming and protective. Sky was loyal and feisty. They had great chemistry.
Happy reading!
Saint is the first book in the Knights of Fury series and as a huge lover of MC romances I was so looking forward to this new series. Saint and Skylar have had a connection since she was a young girl and when her world with the Knights was ripped away, all ties were severed. Five years later and an old fashioned pen to paper letter arrives and the connection of old feelings and new is brought to life. As Skylar seeks answers to the breakdown of her “family” and her young girl crush starts to become a reality, chaos and drama rain down on her. This first book in the series lacks grit but makes up for it in heart. As countless secrets and lies are revealed it will take every bit of inner strength she can summon to fight for her family. These two heat up the pages, frustrate you at times but leave you wanting more of the Knights of Fury.
Saint by Chantal Fernando
Knights of Fury #1
Fairly tame New Adult MC romance that begins a new series. Skylar and Saint had a connection when younger but as she was too young at the time nothing came of it. Later, when she returns to the area, the chemistry is still there and they act upon it. They have some ups and downs but they are not huge and easily solved. The main problem is Skylar’s very narcissistic and evil mother who creates havoc often and in sometimes deadly ways. There is a HEA for Skylar and Saint as this publisher promises for all of their titles.
Did I enjoy the book? Yes
Would I read more in the series? I think so
Thank you to NetGalley and Carina Press for the ARC – This is my honest review.

This is the first in a new MC series from Fernando, and she definitely has created a great set of bikers for us to watch as they find their happily ever afters. The Knights of Fury are a small, tight knit bunch and what happens to one, happens to all, so we get insight into just what makes this group tick.
Skylar tells us her story in the first voice in this book, and at times I found her constant inner chatter a little annoying – however, what it also did was set her age and experience at the fore of the story, and that was really relevant and important. She has not had a simple family life, with many older brothers and a very hard mother – wait until you find out just HOW hard!! As the layers of Sky’s past are peeled away, one can only have sympathy for her.
Saint finally feels it is safe to get in touch with Sky, who he has never forgotten. They immediately reconnect, as if they were always meant to be together. The chemistry is intense, and as the barriers are no longer relevant, this is their time. And I have to say the transition from inappropriate age difference to absolutely fine is really well played out.
Inevitably there have to be issues to make their happily ever after have some serious bumps – and wow, certainly didn’t see those bumps coming!
I really enjoyed this start of a new series, and will most definitely be following the rest of the MC as they get their chance to settle down and open up their emotional sides! Saint and Skylar set the bar high, but the hints we got would suggest there is plenty more goodness to come.

Sky grew up in the MC life as far as her father, Hammer, would allow a child to be involved. But it was the only life she knew. Saint was the guy she had a crush on, but she thought he didn’t feel the same. There was a five-year age difference between them and she was only 16. So, Saint wasn’t about to mess with her. The chemistry between Sky and Saint has the potential of being off the charts, right now it just sizzles.
When Hammer and Sky’s mother split, her mother leaves and takes Sky with her, taking Sky away from the only father she has ever known. And telling Sky that Hammer doesn’t want anything to do with her because if he did, then he would have called her.
When Sky gets a letter from Saint, she can’t believe what she is reading, why after all these years is he reaching out to her? When Sky learns the truth, she doesn’t confront her mother, she leaves the country and moves in with her brother Logan. Reuniting with Hammer and Saint, she learns so much more than she thought and the pain she feels is more than just betrayal.
Will Sky confront her mother about the reasons they left? Can she forgive Saint and Hammer for not reaching out to her sooner? What happens when secrets are revealed? Can Saint and Sky survive his secrets?
I really liked this story but sometimes Sky got on my nerves with her childish all-about-my-pain ways. Either accept what has happened and move on with these men or just move on. I would have liked a little more at the end but maybe there will be more of Saint and Sky in the next book. I can’t wait to see what Chantal Fernando comes up with next.

The story started out slow, showing us how the characters came to be related by blood or friendship. This is an MC romance, but we don’t see a lot of interaction between the club members. Most of the time it seemed the book was written from Sky’s point of view but occasionally we got to see Saint’s thoughts.
I would think that given the impact Hammer has on Sky’s life, we would know more about him, what he does, and how he kept track of her after her mother left with her.
The romance between Sky and Saint has chemistry but they don’t seem to have much in common. Saint doesn’t talk about his work – either legitimate or not – but focuses solely on Sky. Sky’s character is sometimes focused and at others immature. She has no friends in town other than her brothers and the club members.
I understand Sky’s need to connect with her mother and I’m glad when she realizes that she will never have the connection she wants with her.
I wish the characters of Saint and Sky were a little more developed. I think this has the potential to be a great series.

I adore Chantal Fernando’s Wind Dragons MC series, and was incredibly eager to discover she was writing a new series. I really enjoyed Saint the first title in the Knights of Fury MC series and found it to be an intriguing and suspenseful, MC drama fueled read with twists and turns aplenty
Skylar and Saint always shared a special connection. Despite their age gap he never treated her like a child, but also didn’t encourage her teenage fantasies.
Skylar is sassy, sweet, and strong. She’s a hard working, independent battler who’s had to work for everything she has. Her heart is broken when the MC family she adores disappears from her life without a trace.
Saint is a badass, alpha biker, but he’s also sexy, caring, sweet, supportive and loving.
The banter is witty and this title is enjoyable read, and I can’t wait for the next instalment in the Knights of Fury MC series.
Saint is not the first book I’ve read by Chantal Fernando nor is it even the first MC, but it is my least favorite. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve read by this author until this one. Maybe this one just wasn’t for me, but I really struggled to finish this one.
When I picked up this MC, I was expecting this angsty, drama-packed novel, maybe even a forbidden/taboo romance, and the wit I’ve come to enjoy from Fernando. What I got was not that at all. The author seemed to play it safe with the first book in this new series. And that sharp wit to lighten things up occasionally was missing.
Skylar was a clubhouse Princess. The man who raised her, Hammer, started the Knights of Fury from the ground up. Then we have Saint, a Prospect for the club. Skylar and Saint just had this connection, one that was not allowed given the age difference. Insert why I figured I’d get a forbidden/taboo romance.
On to the angst and drama I expected. I didn’t get that either. You can’t have bikers without sin, even if it’s just a little. Instead, we get what should’ve been some major drama that is more glossed over than dealt with. And the reason for that drama, once we find out, had me rolling my eyes.
All in all this novel felt glazed at best when there could have been so much more. I don’t know if Fernando was playing it safe or got bored, but if you like MC romance with all the feels, this one missed the mark. That said, I will read other books by this author, but I think I’ll be skipping this series given my experience with this first book.
Saint and Skylar were everything to each other during childhood. Skylar left with a mother nobody would want and Saint ended up in prison for a few years. She has been receiving letters from Saint in prison. One day he shows up on her doorstep and things start to get crazy. These two had chemistry that was slow burn but hotter than the sun. I really enjoy this authors books.
I received a copy of this book via Netgalley and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was my first Chantal Fernando’s book, and won’t be my last! This is one of my favorite MC stories! This is the first book in the Knights of Fury Series. Skylar and Saint’s story is beautifully written, fast-paced and action packed. Their chemistry is strong. I love it all: the characters, the world building, the storyline. I love the happy ending and the Epilogues! Now, I’m looking forward for more books written by Chantal Fernando. If you like MC stories, and audiobooks, Saint is now available in audiobook. You don’t want to miss it! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
This was a great start to the series. You really get to know the MC family and Skyler’s family in this book. I mean the author knows how to draw you in and make you want to be apart of the families. Skyler has a batshit crazy mother.. She is one of these women who has to have a man and when she gets tired of him, she drops him and moves on. She took Skyler out of the clubhouse and into the country. The good thing is despite what her mom’s hope was it didn’t work out like she wanted. Skyler knew who loved her and accepted her. Saint was her love. They had a strong connection and a friendship. It hurt when she was ripped out of his life but he went on. Fast forward a few years and she has moved back. She’s trying to get a relationship with her brothers and her “dad” Hammer. She knows where she belongs in life. This group of MCers really do have a family aspect and support each other in the thick and thin. They push Skyler to do do what she wants and loves in life. When it comes to Saint, they all knew they had a connection and love. Saint is amazing! I mean he loves her so strong and will do anything to protect her. This book has its moments of happiness, craziness and sadness. It was a great book and I can’t wait to read more from this series!
Saint is one twisty roller coaster of a read! I never wanted this one to end. Around every corner was a new moment that left me gasping. Or swooning. It’s a toss up on which I did more. I’ve been a fan of all of Chantal Fernando’s MC reads for quite some time but Saint is right up there in the top for me. This book is just so crammed with feels it completely overtakes everything around you as you read.
Starting from when Sky is just a child you can see the depth of her love not only for her father, the MC’s president, but also for the entire MC as a whole.
I don’t want to give anything away because the twists come early and don’t stop, but the life that she was thrown into hurt my heart for her. That didn’t stop her from growing into an amazing woman though. Sweet, smart and so freaking strong. And then there’s Saint. Gah, but I loved him hard. He’s a perfect mix of tough biker and swoony book boyfriend.
I did so adore getting into this one from the beginning. I like this author and the way the writing flows taking you along with the words as this one did also. Skylar and Saint give you the ups and downs with this one filling the craving for a good MC novel. You get everything you need in this with it being solid for more to come from this world. The drama and the steam will fuel it giving it the go to get to the end.
Great start to an exciting new MC series from this author. Skylar and Saint are incredible characters and their journey to their HEA is a wild and emotional ride. When Skylar was sixteen and Saint was twenty one she was forbidden and completely off limits. Now five years later she is twenty one and the spark between them is still burning hot and undeniable. She’s been away from the MC for five years and he’s been in prison. Is this their time or will they be torn apart again? I definitely recommend you grab a copy of this one and find out. I can’t wait for more from the Saints MC!
I love biker books…and so I had to give this new MC series by Chantal a try. I am glad to say that I enjoyed it very much and I will definitely have my eye out for the second book.
Skylar is the youngest of 6 and also the only girl. She is also the only one from a different father, though her mother won’t tell her who her real father is. That’s okay though because she has an awesome stepfather. Hammer is the president of The Knights of Fury MC and a great father to Sky, and that’s a good thing because her mother is pretty much the opposite of great…
Which she proves, when she takes Sky away from everything and everyone she has ever loved, when her relationship with Hammer does not work out.
Sky is devastated when she has to say goodbye to the only father she has ever known…and to Saint, the only guy she has ever loved. She has had a crush on Saint for as long as she can remember and even though she is 5 years younger than him…he never made her feel like she was unwanted or a burden. He didn’t mind hanging with her.
After her mom took her away, she never heard from any of them though…It seems like they just forgot about her and didn’t really care.
Now 5 years later, a letter from Saint is gonna show her that things aren’t always as they seem…and her mom is a bigger bitch than she thought.
I really liked Saint and Sky together, they were pretty sweet and hot. That said…I could have done with a bit tougher and feistier heroine, but that is just my personal preference. Maybe the next book will give me my perfect heroine…you never know 😉
I have been a hardcore fan of this author for a long time. I loved her two previous MC series with all my heart, so I was overly excited when this new MC series was announced. She did NOT disappoint! Saint is a story about second chances and it never being too late to go home. We first meet best friends Skylar and Saint as a 16-year-old club princess and a 21-year-old prospect. For deeper reasons than are initially disclosed, Skylar is forced to leave the MC and grow up in a loveless household. She lives a mundane paycheck-to-paycheck lifestyle until she receives a letter from Saint and decides it might be time to go home. Slowly, Skylar re-acclimates herself to the MC lifestyle and gets reconnected with her family, including Saint, the love of her teenage life. Old club drama and rivalries quickly make a reappearance and Skylar finds herself in danger from more than one trusted person in her life. It all boils down to whether blood is thicker than water and whether one really has to be related to be family, and there were so many unpredictable twists and turns that I just couldn’t put the book down! The author builds such a vivid background of the world the characters are living in and the description and personality given to each main and supporting character is so well thought out. I fell in love with this entire club the minute I met each of the members, and I cannot wait to read more about them. I sometimes run across MC romance authors who repeat the same stories and love scenes over and over in each series, just with a fresh character and new location, but I have never found that to be the case with this author. There is never a moment where I’ve found myself comparing any of her characters across the different series and that’s one of the reasons I will read everything and anything she writes – because I know I’ll be getting a fresh story and idea every single time. I’d give this book more than 5 stars if I could!
3.5 Stars!
From the moment I laid eyes on this book, I just knew I had to read it. I mean, not only was the cover fantastic, but the synopsis drew me in. I haven’t read a biker book for a while, so I was more than ready to check this book out.
Saint follows the story of Saint and Skylar. Skylar has had a crush on Saint for as long as she can remember. The only problem was that she was five years younger. So, as much as she felt the pull, she and Saint could never be. Skylar thought she’d always live the MC life, that is until her mom took her away. It will be five years before Skylar is reunited with not only Saint, by her Knights of Fury family. The chemistry between Skylar and Saint burns hotter than ever and now that Skylar is an adult, all bets are off. Saint is everything that Skylar has always wanted and there is nothing Saint wouldn’t do to protect those he loves. And when Skylar is found in a dangerous situation, she can only hope that Saint will rescue her before it’s too late….
Overall, I found this story to be a really enjoyable read. I liked Skylar. She was loyal to her MC family and has been doing the best she could without them. She’s sassy, and super smart. She loves big and loves hard. And then we’ve got Saint. Saint is far from perfect, but is as loyal as they come. There isn’t anything he wouldn’t do to protect the ones he loves and Skylar. He’s fierce and protective, but has a lot of secrets he’s keeping close to his chest. Together these two were a smokin match. I loved their chemistry and their banter. I loved the moments where Saint was oh, so sweet, and then the next he was a total alpha male. Now, I will be honest with you, Skylar did get on my nerves sometimes. She jumped to a lot of conclusions and let her inexperience and immaturity show. Those moments really frustrated me, but I was able to look past it and just enjoy the ride.
Saint kicks off this new series to a really good start. I thought the characters were great and their story certainly sucked you in. I loved the suspense and danger, as well as the steaminess and romance. I loved the twists that kept me on edge and wondering what was going to be thrown at us next. Even though I did have some issues with this book, I think this series has a ton of really good potential and I look forward to checking out the next book in this series.
An absolute ripper of a start to this new series, Saint and Skylar meet when Sky was young, but she was ripped away from her MC family. Years later they are reunited and the connection is still strong. Lots of drama, action and suspense, I’m really looking forward to more of this series!
Chantal Fernando is a guaranteed MC Read for me – and this was no different.
I loved the two main characters – Skye & Saint. There was a genuine connection between them and their shared history made the romance that much sweeter. Plenty of obstacles get in their way but as they say – true love never runs smooth… Great supporting characters and plenty of action had me reading this one in one session.
Saint was a great MC character and I’m hoping the other guys in the charter get their stories told – Temper especially has me intrigued…
This is a new author to me and also the 1st in a new series. Sky grew up in the MC life, until her mother and stepdad separate, and she is taken away by her mother. Skye had a crush on Saint by never thought her feelings were unreciprocated. Now 5 years later Saint tracks her down, and life as she knows it changes. This is a well written story which has heartbreak, secrets, drama, sizzling chemistry, and is an entertaining read. I look forward to reading more from this author and recommend for all MC lovers.
Saint is the first book I have read by this author and I really liked it. I loved Skylar and Saint. They had a sweet and beautiful relationship. I loved their chemistry, connection and scorching sexy scenes! They were perfect together! Loved loved them! Looking forward to reading more!
This is a brand new series by this author, and I was beyond excited to begin. I mean, really? Who can get enough MC romance?!? Not me, that’s for sure! And I’ve read MC romance by this author before, and thoroughly enjoyed it. So I was absolutely sure that this series was going to follow along the lines of the other series, with hot alpha male bikers, and exciting story lines. Boy, did I underestimate this book! Yes, the alpha bikers and crazy circumstances were all there, but there was also that insta-love element that I absolutely adore, and Saint is a whole different breed of biker. This story has gone to the top of my favorites by this author!
Skylar is one of the women who seem to always come out on top. No matter how bad life gets, she persists until things work out. After a childhood filled with an unknown father, a crazy inattentive mother, and brothers that aren’t really in her life, things go from bad to worse. She looses the only bright spot in her life, her loving step-father and the MC that has always supported her. In the process, she is moved away from the only family she has ever known, including her teenage crush, Saint.
Saint is one of those guys. You know what I’m talking about. An alpha male biker who knows what he wants, and does whatever it takes to get it. He lives life to the fullest, loyal to his biker brothers. He also always has Skylar in the back of his mind, as the one that got away.
This book was emotional, and exciting, and had everything I look for in an MC romance. I enjoyed the lasting connection between Saint and Skyler, that wasn’t even lessened by time, distance or interfering crazy folks. I couldn’t help but fall in love with this couple, and I’m sure any other readers will feel the same way!
