Dylan frowned, “Who are you?” He demanded in a whisper.
“I’ll tell you later. For now, kiss me.”
He hadn’t thought that Blake could get any closer. He was wrong. Blake’s body seemed to melt against his, relaxing so that every curve, every line, every inch, was pressed together. He could feel it through the layers of clothing. When Blake kissed him this time, it was strangely slow. He captured … time, it was strangely slow. He captured Dylan’s lips and held them with a firm tenderness that made Dylan’s head spin. It had been so long since he had kissed anyone. It had been so long since he had been this close to anyone. He had forgotten what it felt like.
Dylan’s mission: assist his Navy SEAL team as they infiltrate enemy territory and gather Intel on the new shifter pack called the Shadow Pack through distant observation.
Blake’s mission: infiltrate and live within the Shadow Pack and gather any useful information and data from the inside as one of them.
One is a SEAL, and the other is a spy. Their missions were never supposed to cross, yet one fateful accident during a full moon intertwines their fates. Dylan finds himself in the middle of the Shadow Pack and under the charade that he’s Blake’s mate. They must learn to live and work together, or risk exposing both of their covers, and Dylan’s team. Blake is charming, flirty, cocky, and irritating; yet Dylan finds himself strangely drawn to the man. Blake’s strength of will and patience are put to the test, but Blake is patient, and he’s not willing to give up so easily.

When the full moon arrangements go wrong Dylan finds the spy in the pack pretending to be his mate.
Wolf shifter Dylan is part of a SEAL team watching the Secret Pack witch has grown very large and is worrying the government. On the full moon the shifters are given sedatives then chained to spikes in the ground but this dose seems wrong and the bear shifter officer changes and drags his spike out of the ground and as he runs it snags on Dylan’s freeing him to run into the forest. When he wakes up the next morning he is surrounded by members of the Secret Pack who take him and lock him in a cell. Later a strange alpha wolf appears claiming that Dylan is his mate come to visit him and Blake is also the spy they have been getting information from about the Pack.

Blake and Dylan were interesting there romance has a slow build with plenty of tension there both having to learn to deal with being fake mates on the fly and for Dylan thats complicated with his Seal training he has been trained to have control all the time and as a Omega you have to be just plain better then everyone he just doesn’t know how to deal with the flirty Alpha spy hes stuck with on his mission. Blake on the other hand has longed to be with Dylan for years they grew up in the same pack Dylan dated his Blake’s older brother and Dylan just plain dosen’t remember him. But Blake never thought he and Dylan would ever be together so he’s not going to waist his chance of having Dylan and proving he’s the better Alpha and he values Dylan more then his brother ever did.
Can a mission that went wrong bring them together one remembers there past the other dosen’t want a relationship or a mate but once the walls come down theres no stopping there passion. But when the other leaves to go back to there job is this the end of there story. I don’t think Blake will give up that easily.

This was an interesting shifter story. Its the beginning of series and it appears that to finish the entire tale you will have to read all the books. That would be a tad disappointing but if the story is good why not keep going. Well I like the characters Blake and Dylan. Blake was the typical cocky alpha but had a lot of charm…more like a lover not a fighter but since he is an alpha he does have the alpha instincts to take charge and protect his omega/mate. Dylan wasn’t your usual omega…this what made this story interesting…he was a Navy Seal. He had his shy moments but he had very strong personality and not a whimpering one. The two guys coming together was unexpected just like the hint of their shared past. They have to put on a fake relationship to accomplish (gather intel) their mission. I want to mention that there was one disturbing scene that occurred and I was very surprised how Dylan handled it. I know everybody has their own way of handling trauma but this was shocking. I wasn’t disgusted just shocked and Blake was so remorseful I was able to move on. He is that likable. Their budding relationship is starting to progress and that transgression is mainly forgotten. Moving towards the end of the book, the entire mission was kind of rushed… but it did put a smile on my face when Dylan got that text from Blake. It would have been nice if they would have had conversation about their future as a couple…possible mates. There are some questions that are left unanswered but probably will get answered in the future books. The ending also had a little prologue to the next book. I’m not sure if I will read the others. From what I can tell its going to get real messy with the ex boyfriend/older brother. All in all the book was a good start to the series and if you love shifter stories you may like this one.

YOU CAN GET WHAT YOU WANT IF YOU WAIT LONG ENOUGH
Dylan is a Navy SEAL omega who gets lost during a mission when the doctor mis-doses his team. He is found by the faction that he is surveilling and is imprisoned. Blake is a mole that has infiltrated the faction and frees Dylan by pretending to be his mate and getting him released. They stay together for a month before Dylan can leave. The ending can be standalone, but it seems more like a cliffhanger.
This story is fantastic and I LOVED IT! Full of danger, lust and a shared past, the story of Blake and Dylan is well worth reading. When the sedatives fail his SEAL team during a full moon, Dylan wakes to find himself in the presence of men he doesn’t know. It turns out, they are shifters and part of the Shadow pack his team was sent to monitor. He isn’t held long before Blake shows up claiming to be his mate. The transition is hard for Dylan but Blake convinces him the ruse is the best way to keep them both safe as Blake is the mole in place. Much to Dylan’s dismay, he and Blake continue to get closer and soon, they aren’t pretending anymore even though Dylan won’t admit it. The arrival of the Alpha’s mate, who both happen to be dragons, will put the mission in danger and force Dylan to leave without Bryce to save his team from being found. Bryce will find Dylan again soon and Dylan will have to admit that they two really are mates.

NOT for Me!
One thing I love about this author is the fact that his omegas aren’t the standard type. This story is a perfect example. The alpha is more emotional and the omega is a navy seal. Great characters. It’s funny, fun, sexy, and heart warming. Let’s hope this review doesn’t disappear.
