Book 1 of the Safeword Series:Tyler and Viv have found each other again after a three day fling three years ago. Ideally suited for each other, they try to make a relationship work. However, they soon realize Tyler was expecting a 24/7 total power exchange and Vivian will never be a full-time submissive. As they try to find a compromise, Vivian must deal with what a Total Power Exchange means, … what a Total Power Exchange means, even if it’s only a part time power exchange, and Tyler must decide if he can live with a sometimes-Master and sometimes-boyfriend relationship.
Will they find their pot of gold at the end of the rainbow?

When Tyler and Viv met three and half years earlier they only had negotiated scenes over 3 days in a club setting with Viv being a sexual submissive. She could see the tender sadist and it satisfied her masochistic needs with a chemistry that was off the charts.
Meeting him again at her family home she discovers he’s her brother’s best friend and David knows Tyler’s type of sexuality. He knows of their earlier meeting since Tyler had shared with about his dream woman but neither had any idea it was his sister.
Tyler and Viv couldn’t wait to be together to see if the reality of the present could live up to their memories. They had a spectacular night. So she had no expectations that Tyler would want more and was horrified that he expected a 24/7 TPE relationship.
She’d worked too long to have her own power and was afraid that over time she would lose herself to him.
Since she didn’t believe that there was a possible compromise she felt it’s better to end things now than suffer more later. But Tyler wasn’t willing to give up and didn’t belive it was a coincidence that gave them both their dream jobs in the same city. Turns out he was right. With some adjustments to their expectations they could have an amazing relationship.
Once they were together I was uncomfortable when Tyler’s sadism seemed to be overtaking the Dom side of him so that when she would appear to be at the limit of what she could handle, he would taunt her with her safeword until she didn’t use it. Then I really was afraid she would lose herself to him.
Their scenes were hardcore which appealed to me. However his punishments didn’t seem to be appropriate for the faults. Not having lived with high protocols myself I probably shouldn’t judge.
I love predicament bondage and the mental one he gave her had me laughing. Great way to end.
Ms Blevins always gives us characters that have to work for their HEA and this was no different. Tyler and Viv both had to give up things in order to get what they needed from each other and achieved their goals only with open and honest discussion.
Vivian thought she’d found the Master of her dreams after having spent three exquisite days with him. But Master James informed her they had no future and walked away. Now three and a half years later what are the odds that Master James shows up in the form of her brother’s best friend, Tyler? Now, can they make their way as a couple based on feelings developed years ago? Will their relationship expectations align? Tyler feeds Viv’s masochistic soul the way no other man ever has and she fulfills all his sadistic needs.
I checked out the authour because I saw she was part of group at an authours event with two other authours I like to read, okay, one of them I LOVE TO READ, and surprise, this was very good and reminded me of my love to read authour – yippee!!!
Straight up BDSM, none of the fluffy, cuddly stuff, but what it is really like for normal, everyday life. That will scare some readers off, because they are used to the watered-down version or the buffed up, this is straight forward and I loved it!
Our hero and heroine are not starry-eyes beginners, they are in their 30’s and know what they want and what they like in their partners. The two things gel well for them in the scene but it is in the daily dealings that their expectations don’t quite mesh
Can and how does this work? That is the story to be read and discovered here, who are they? Will they meet each other? How and when? What will happen when they do? Can they make it work?
