Sacrificed is one crazy, wild adventure after another. Ariya, James, Caroline and Nick set off to find the secret weapon that Ingrid told them would destroy Audrey permanently. This involves a trip to Germany to the castle where Ariya and James history started. James knows that a war with Audrey and the wolves is on the horizon. He just doesn’t know who outside of their little group he can trust.
I loved the way the author kept throwing in little surprises that I wasn’t expecting. Ariya was thrown into this crazy paranormal world and she had to figure out how to survive as she went. Anna did a great job of helping the characters grow and evolve. This was a great twist on the vampire/werewolves. I loved it and you should grab a copy and start reading.
This was one hell of a story. I really enjoyed reading this. The storyline was really imaginative and I felt at ease reading this book as it flowed so perfectly. I didn’t realise I was reading it so fast as it made me feel so comfortable. I loved the characters and I would highly recommend this book to all thinking of giving it a chance.
Brilliant trilogy
really enjoyed this book it was an excellent conclusion in this series Ariya is willing to to sacrifice everything for everyone she loves. She is
again locked away for her own protection but Ariya believes she can help her protectors save everyone she loves so once again she doesn’t do as she’s told again and puts herself and her friends in danger want to find out more check this book out
Amazing end to an amazing series. I loved this book so much and I was so frustrated that I had to read the entire series…again!
The book picks up where the second left of with the group looking for the object that can defeat the evil witch. After missing graduation because hey they’re being chased by werewolves and flying to Germany to find the castle where Ariya’s ancestor once lived, the search begins. After locating the dagger and the spell, Ariya learns the cost of what it must be done. She must die in order to protect her friends.
It was a fascinating read and you should absolutely read it. I was kind of disappointed when Ariya became a vampire but the wedding proposal made up for it. And when Ithought that all was said and done, in the very last page, it appears as Jame’s dad who was dead, returned to life! At the very last page! If that isn’t awesome skill, then I don’t know what is.
Don’t forget to leave a review. Yes, I know you’re dying to read it so my review for the Ariya Adams Trilogy comes to an end.
Note: violent scenes and explicit sexual scenes in the book.
Anna Applegate
Sacrificed is book 3 in the Ariya Adams Trilogy. Written by Anna Applegate this is the final book in a trilogy. This book follows on from the other two so I recommend reading them in sequence.
It is a paranormal/fantasy story. I have enjoyed this series since the first book considering I’m not a big fan of paranormal/fantasy, but thanks to Anna Applegate and this series I think I will enjoy reading more this.
Anna’s storyline and characters are amazing. This story begins with Ariya, James, Nick, Caroline, and Riley all searching for a weapon that will defeat Audrey and the evil plans that she has. What is this weapon? As the story progresses so does the danger.
Ariya has always been one that cares for her friends and would do anything to protect them. She now finds herself in a situation in which she must hide the fact that to ensure their survival she has a mission she must complete alone. Will she be able to keep her mission a secret from the others, especially from James? Will Audrey finally be defeated? Will everyone survive?
I don’t want to give too much away but if you have read the first two you will love this one. If you are thinking of reading this series you won’t be disappointed so go grab a copy today. Happy Reading
Sacrificed by Anna Applegate is the third and final book in the Ariya Adams Trilogy. I felt extremely sad reading this book knowing it was the last of this amazing series! I have been looking for a earth shattering series to read and this one fits the bill! I know I’ll find myself returning to read them again and again. I can’t wait to see what Anna Applegate has coming next!
Sacrificed by Anna Applegate is the third and final book in her Ariya Adams Trilogy series and I feel like there should have been more to the story, it felt like a super quick final story and should have been more of the adventures. I did see a lot of repeated story lines and incidents with the characters. It felt like a different story than the first two because it was so rushed and less put into it. Negatives aside it was still a good book because every story needs an ending. It did still wrap everything up nicely and not leave it open to more.
What an epic end to the series! This book ties in really well with the other books in the series – Protected and Awakened – and is an amazing climax to the series overall. After reading the first two books it was easy to get into the story as I was familiar with the characters and the narrative that is running throughout the series. As a stand alone book it is also very enjoyable; again I loved the use of first person from Ariya’s perspective as it really aids the understanding of the events of the book and shows reasons behind her decisions. It was lovely to see Ariya’s character progress not just through this book but also over the course of the series, ending with her having an important part in the final battle as opposed to her being constantly protected in the first book. This is a great read however I would definitely recommend reading the first two books in order to get the full effect from this finale as it is not one to miss!
Sacrificed by Anna Applegate
4 Stars
This trilogy was amazing! I adored the characters and the connection they had between each other. Everything blended so well together. Sacrificed picks up where Awakened finished. The enemy in part two is still after Ariya and is closing in. We get to leave the country for a bit and it was cool. The history of the characters blends so well with the story, it was as if you were experiencing a piece of history yourself.
“For every path we choose, we must leave another behind. Who can say what any of these other paths might lead to?”
There are always choices to be made in life and Ariya and her protectors had to make a lot in this book. Some were made for her. Whether good or bad, there are always consequences. I pretty much figured out everything before it happened but it didn’t take away from the story. The book was amazing! Something exciting happened in the epilogue so I’m hoping it means there will be another book.
Sacrificed (Book 3 in the Ariya Adams Trilogy) by Anna Applegate is the final book in the Ariya Adams trilogy. This book ends with a jaw dropping shock that I did not see coming. Reading the first two book in this series is recommended, it will give you a lot of backstory and you will get to know the characters in this book. Anna Applegate grabs you from the very first page to the very last page with her writing style. I couldn’t put it down and read it in one sitting.
Audrey is pure evil and Ariya Adams and her group of friends need to destroy her. Trying to find answers takes them back to where if first began. There is a weapon out there that will end Audrey, but can Ariya find it in time? Ariya is still struggling with her feelings for James, so to keep him safe, she friend zones him. Can Ariya finally destroy Audrey or will Audrey win in the end?
This happens to be one of my favorite types of romance books. This series kept me captivated throughout the whole series and I couldn’t put them down once I started reading them. So, I am a little sad that Ariya’s journey is over. The tug and pull of Ariya and James’ love will keep you rooting for them till the very end. The secondary characters are just as important as the main characters and you will fall in love with them too. I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through this book and you will be too. I can’t wait to see what Anna Applegate has in her bookcase next.
Sacrificed (Ariya Adams Trilogy) by Anna Applegate is part of one of the best paranormal series I have read this year. This is the last book in the trilogy and boy it packs a punch. I love this series and the vampires that are the main characters. The suspense and mayhem, action and twists make it hard to put down. Just who are the bad boys and who can be trusted? This engaging story holds your attention and the world Anna has created is easy to imagine. Love and friendships are those that you can relate to and you become invested in the characters. Ariya finds what she needs to hopefully rid the world of evil but in doing so she finds out the truth of just where it will leave her. Realising keeping her fate to herself is the only way to keep those she loves safe.
Don’t look any further this is the paranormal story for you.
Sacrificed by Anna Applegate was another great read! I enjoy paranormal books and this was no exception. I read the first two books and really loved them. Just finishing the 3rd makes you wonder if there is more to Ariya’s story. This book kept me wanting more the whole time, and it is a book series I would go back and re-read just for fun. I really enjoy this authors writing style and her character development. I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us next with her writing, because I would definitely read it! Overall, I give this book a solid 5 stars.
This is the conclusion to the Ariya Adams trilogy…or is it? I don’t know if it is just me or what, but the ending leaves me to believe there may be more in store for this group of vampire protectors and werewolf demons.
This story recaps a lot of what happened in books 1 and 2 before getting to the war between the vampires and werewolves. We knew it was coming, it was no surprise. The real surprise though comes in the form of who they can trust. The trusting issue is also a carry over from book 2. It seems as if everyone is out for their own purpose.
I liked this story as it kept me on my toes. I really wanted to know who was the traitor. I really wanted to know how Ariya and James were going to make their love work or IF they could make it work. This author sure kept me guessing about that relationship!
I liked this story in that it was clearly a vampire story. A story with werewolves as the bad guys. Sometimes a reader just needs to have a story with clear sides…even though there is a trust issue you can tell that most of the vampires are good and most of the werewolves are bad.
I liked how Ariya wasn’t a damsel in distress. She doesn’t just sit back and let her protectors take care of everything.
Good story and I definitely can recommend this trilogy and this author
I’m so glad I got to follow this series all the way through! I love the detail in the author’s writing, it makes everything so real. The main character’s have been through so much in this series. I do feel it has made them stronger together. The action in this book is so incredibly you will be on the edge of your seat. I couldn’t stop turning the pages. They go up against something that may end it all, but you will have to read to find out! I’m passing these books on to another lucky person!
Sacrificed book 3 in the Ariya Adams Trilogy by Anna Applegate
Four Stars
OMG! I can’t believe how this story as came along. The growth of every character has been on point. Ariya knew nothing of Vampires or werewolves but is in the middle of a war with them. It has so sad watching all the betrayal and heartache. James, Care, Nick and Ariya have been through so much in these three books I feel like I know them. I guess the ending was somewhat predictable. Ariya is placed in an hard position and it is one that James desperately wanted to avoid. Ok I am in love with Riley I mean come on the guy just keeps on giving. What was truly shocking is the parent twist like how could a parent do what James mother Aubrey did. I really enjoyed this book. The author did a really good job on bringing these characters to life.
Sacrificed (Ariya Adams Trilogy #3) by Anna Applegate was a thrilling conclusion to an outstanding series.
Picking up where the last book ended, we’re tossed back into the thick in things. The danger is high, the journey is full of death, and of course, a dark twist that punches you right in the feels. This isn’t a stand-alone, so if you have found your way to this book, I highly suggest going back to the first book and starting there, if not you will be lost, and unable to get the same gut punch if read out of sequence.
Since this is the third and final book, I’m not going to tell you, anything. At this point in the game, character development has pretty much plateaued, which isn’t a bad thing. You want your character to reach a certain point, in order to do what they need to do, without all the baggage they had at the start getting the way. This book is about finishing what was put in place in the first book, when everything was green. And my god, this book not only finished what it started, it took a piece of my reading heart with it. So good, so, so good!
I don’t need to say any more, only to take my super high recommendation that this series is a must read. It’s more then a unique story, it takes old, over used themes, and makes them new and interesting again. It rekindles that reading fire that has dulled from too many clichés, and sub-par characters. This book, this series, is what makes reading addicting, and special.
Happy Reading

This is the third and final book to the Ayira Adams Trilogy. This has been my favorite paranormal romance of this year. You will have to read the first two books in order to read this one. I was hooked to this book right from the first page. This book starts right where last one stopped. You can’t help but to fall in love with these characters one last time. It only took me a few hours to devour this amazing ending to an awesome series.
Ariya Adams is on a mission with her friends to destroy the greatest evil that has ever been created, Audrey. They all travel to a place where it all began to see if they can get some answers. Ariya knows that she need to find the weapon that will destroy Audrey once and for all but where can it be? Ariya is also having problems with her heart. She is still in love with James but she doesn’t want to put him into danger so they are just friends. Ariya finally finds what they have been looking for but she has to hold on to a secret until the right time. She also doesn’t know who she can really trust. Ariya is the key to end this war once and for all no matter the cost. She will do anything to make sure that she protects the ones she loves Will Ariya destroy Audrey or will Audrey destroy everything she holds dear to her heart first?
I absolutely loved this book. I am so sad that it is the end. The storyline has it all romance, mystery, suspense, and love. You will fall in love with these characters all over again. Ariya is stronger than she has been before. She knows that she needs to end this war once and for all. Ariya is deeply in love with James still but she wants to keep him safe. James is still protecting Ariya with his life. He loves her like no other but he needs to do his job. You will also love the secondary characters as well. They bring the story to life especially Riley. He is funny but he can also be serious when he needs to be. This amazing author will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. The ending left me in complete shock and I can’t wait to see what this author will do next.

This is the third and final book in the Ariya Adams Trilogy, and what a terrific way to conclude this wonderfulness that is paranormal romance. Of course we still have the suspense that totally has you on the edge of your seat and turning those pages just to read the twists and secret that worm their way out.
This series is incredible, Annas writing style has progressed seamlessly throughout this trilogy and you can see that through all three books through the plots transitions and the characters growth. Have truly enjoyed reading these books, Thank you Anna for bringing such an magnificent paranormal world to paper.
Sacrificed (Ariya Adams Trilogy book 3)
Anna Applegate
5 out of 5 stars
Sacrificed is the final book in the Ariya Adams trilogy and despite enjoying the entire series, this book is my favorite.
I enjoyed how the story kicked off and continued from where we left in book two. The story started with my attention piqued and kept my attention throughout the entire novel entertainment never waning.
Once again I enjoyed Ariya’s character and the progression throughout the storyline and enjoyed having a background foundation of the main characters throughout the trilogy.
I am coming off of a week long hospital stay and this book was a welcomed distraction I would recommend.
