Coyle O’Caha, a seven-hundred-year-old, immortal druid sorcerer, has one claim to fame—his experience mentoring fledgling witches. Three years ago, he found his soulmate, Deri Sullivan. With Deri haunting his dreams, he can no longer wait to claim her. He’s tired of waiting for her to fall for his charms and see that he’s the man for her. Of course, that’s easier said than done since Deri is … immune to both his charm and magik.
Deri Sullivan’s boss is a real piece of work. Not only is Coyle a millionaire with a body to die for and an attitude to match, but he also has a Scottish lilt which makes her knees weak. He’s a certified ladies’ man. A man she should avoid at all costs. A man she can’t seem to quit dreaming about. A man with whom she wishes she could share her secret. Sometimes love happens at its own pace, other times, a supernatural nudge is needed.

The sizzling chemistry between the two main characters is off the charts , and the author kept light humor throughout. I particularly like the beginning when Coyle asked Deri her name and she couldn’t remember as her mind went blank seeing him shirtless- the internal monologue had me laughing out loud.
This was a good read but I felt it left out some things – there could have been a bit more regarding Deri and Chad with the stalker story line, but that ended as quickly as it began And Deri’s family not sticking up for her… I would have given it a higher rating if it expanded upon some of these things, but overall I would recommend it as a quick, light, easy read.
The characters were real, the brothers relationship showed some enjoyable humor. Sudden change to 3years in the future was confusing, could have used a transitional paragraph to lead reader to the future. It took me a couple pages to realize the transition. Would like to see another book to focus on the brother.
A quick sexy little read. I wish there was more exploration with the characters and background. For whatever reason the story just felt rushed but overall a good read.
I was sorely disappointed with this poorly written story, it had potential but… I found it juvenile, horrible flow, shallow characters and a short story to boot. I won’t be reading the rest if the series.
Awful! The plot sounded intriguing but it was sex.
There was so much more story here, and the writer didn’t give it to you. She went into great, at times excruciating detail in the sex scenes, but dealt with the bad guy into about half a page. I’m tempted to read the next book in line, which is an actual novel (this is a novella), but I have so many other books to read that I think I’ll pass.
No plot
Normally I like Mandy Roth, but this was not her best effort. This short story seemed rushed in ploy and long on sex. Give us more storyline please.
This a good, quick read if you’re not looking for a full character development. There is so much potential here! I would love to read the back-story leading up Deri’s current predicament, and maybe more about the chaos that must have ensued during the 3-year gap from Deri’s hire. Otherwise, the story is really cute for a quick escape.
