Only through compassion and understanding can they hope to share a future. The war on Ketaurrios took so much from the people Harper cared about, but nowhere near what it stole from the orphans under her care, or from Rygael, the cave-dwelling male who risked his life to save one of her children from slavers. He might think his beautiful white scales make him different, less than worthy of being … than worthy of being around other people, but Harper is not about to let it stop her from putting an end to his solitary existence.
Rygael knows what it’s like to face ridicule and rejection. Even before the war, there were those of his kind unwilling to accept his differences. Harper is the most compassionate female he has ever met and the first to see past the color of his scales. She might not possess any fighting abilities, but she is fierce and has the determination of a warrior. Not to mention the most alluring green eyes, a scent that makes his tail twitch, and can only belong to his mate.
She is the future he’s always dreamed of, but can never hope to attain.
Note to readers: Each book in the Ketaurran Warriors series has a new romance and can be read as a stand-alone. The action, adventure, and story-line progresses with each book and enhances the reading experience if they are read in order. Here is the recommended order:
Jardun’s Embrace
Khyron’s Claim
Zaedon’s Kiss
Rygael’s Reward
more
Rygael’s Reward by Rayna Tyler is an amazing story to read. This is book number four in this amazing series that I have loved reading very much and can not wait to read the next story written by this amazing author. Liked Harper and Rygeal’s story
Harper runs a small orphanage out of her home, currently caring for 4 children. An attempt was made to kidnap her only girl, she was saved by a Ketauran male, living in the caves out side of the city. Rygeal was I injured saving Melissa. Stayed with Harper and the children while he healed, then went back to his cave.
Harper is his ketiorra, his mate. He is an albino. Rejected.by his own parents. Enslaved in the mines during the war. He does not feel worthy of a mate. He watches over Harper and the children from afar.
When Harper gets help training to self defense from one of Burke’s males. Rygeal steps in.
There is trouble in town. Harper rescues a young girl who is being forced to steal. When Harper is kidnapped. Rygeal is determined to safe her.
Sweet and a litt!e steamy. Liked Rygeal and Harper’s story. Ending felt rushed.
Harper wants Rygael to move out of his cave and back with her. She does not know why he left. Rygael is struggling from the memories of people’s discrimination toward him but he misses Harper and her children. This is a very sweet romance with a little steam. The characters are very likable and interesting. I liked it.

Great story. Rygael finally finds a place for himself with Harper. He’s had a hard road behind him and tries to avoid Harper because of his past but she isn’t having it. While this story stands alone, I highly recommend reading the stories in order as there is an overlapping story arc that you’ll miss if you start here. The world building in this is less than its been since we’ve already had the scene set in previous books. I loved these characters. Both had such a hard road. Fast and easy read, great characters with a real relationship and two individuals that find themselves stronger together than apart.
Harper is a wonderful character. Kind, Caring, Compassionate, loving who takes care of orphaned children in her home and cares for family and friends. One of her young charges is almost abducted and Rygael comes to the rescue and is wounded in the process. He is Ketaurran and he realizes that Harper is his fated mate. Just because he is different in coloring with the albino coloring many in his community reject him. There is a mixture if adventure, action, danger, overcoming discrimination, romance and a satisfying HEA> Very enjoyable story. Highly recommend. Harper tries to get Ryrael to move out of his cave where he retreats to avoid others.
Rygael stands out among other Ketaurrans who are brightly colored as he is an albino and as a result has always suffered ridicule so he avoids them by living in a cave outside the settlement. After recovering from wounds gotten while preventing the kidnapping on one of the children he moves back to his cave and avoid the woman he knows is his ketiorra or mate. Harper is upset that Rygael has moved back to his cave as she feels that she and the orphan children she cares for are safer when he is about plus she finds the huge alien attractive so she tries to get man in charge of the settlement to help her get him to come back but after he refuses she visits him herself.

This has been a very enjoyable series to read and I enjoyed this story about Rygael and Harper. Rygael because he is different from the other Ketaurran Warriors has a hard time accepting his self worth but with Harper influences and her being his mate he begins to see his true worth. Harper takes care of orphan children but when Harper is taken while she was protecting the orphans, will Rygael save her? This was a shorter read than the others but it still had action, romance, likable leading characters and enough world building to enjoy this story. I volunteer to read and review this ARC via Booksprout.
This is book four of the Ketourran Warriors, and we find another warrior finding his Ketiorra (mate.) Rygael is an albino and considered an outcast by many. His self esteem has been bombarded time after time. Harper is impressed by him, but he has rebuffed him. Good short story.

I enjoyed reading this book , it has a good storyline, and is filled with action, adventure, and intrigue. The interaction and chemistry between the characters of Harper and Rygael is wonderful. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
Harper has lost much on this alien planet and has found some happiness raising orphans that have lost everything. She has a huge heart. Rygael is a male that lives in a cave. He saved one of her children and Harper doesn’t want him to be alone. Rygael is an albino and feels unworthy to be around others. He realizes that Harper is his mate and tries to stay away from her due to his unworthiness. Danger is around the corner though. I love this series.

This is a lovely sci-fi romance! I truly enjoyed it! The main characters easily find the beauty in each other.. though it takes time to accept it in themselves.. especially Rygael.

Quick, sweet SFR read
Great story about accepting yourself, finding your someone, and caring, all wrapped up in an alien environment. Add in a little action-adventure, and this this story had all the trappings of a great read.
The writing and editing for this novel was fairly clean, with few typos that I found in the ARC version of this manuscript. The world building was well established in previous books in this series, so it faded more to the background in this novel. The characterization was competent, with both hero and heroine being sympathetic, well drawn individuals. The development of the romantic relationship was of the insta-love variety, which I enjoyed in this story. The plot and pacing was exciting, with me turning pages quickly to find out what was going to happen next! There was very low angst and very high stakes in this story, which tends to be one of my preferred narrative structures for a romance novel. This novel used the Fated Mates trope and the Forced Proximity trope. The world building, plot, and pacing all rated four stars. The characterization and the development of the romantic relationship also rated four stars. The combined score of this novel was therefore four stars. This novel ended on a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger, so that is a big plus for this whole series so far. I recommend this story to fans of sci-fi romance with alien heroes which read like adventure novels. I plan to buy myself a keeper copy of this novel, I think.

Harper is a human with a wonderfully warm heart and loving disposition. She has taken in orphaned children who needed a home and cares for them. When kidnapping starts to occur and one of her orphans is almost taken, Rygael, a cave-dwelling albino shunned by his people and his own family, comes to the rescue and is wounded when he saves her.
Recovering in Harper’s home, the Ketaurran male recognizes that Harper is his fated mate, but he will not act on it and shame her since his white scales are not accepted by his people. Harper sees his goodness and has no objection to his scales. She wants the brave male to stay with her, but he goes back into his lonely isolation. Only when she is put in danger will he come to his senses and see that they belong together. If he can rescue his human, will they find their HEA?
This is a cute story with two deserving characters that should definitely love each other. Both of them have enough love and compassion to create a beautiful family for the children and find acceptance in each other. Grab your copy and see if everything works out for these two.
In spite of the pain, hardship and terror each of them has experienced in the past, they came together and made a beautiful life together.
