It’s not right. Maybe it’s time his castle burns down.
Secrets and favors built my throne.
Connor
Meek. Shy. Wholesome.
Thea Kennedy was picture-perfect innocence until she wasn’t. The unexpected photo is the juiciest secret to land in my lap in a while. Who knew she was hiding luscious curves under frumpy sweaters?
With one racy selfie, Thea stepped into my world, where I control the board. I’ll trap the little mouse and won’t let her escape the depraved kingdom I built.
But there are darker monsters than me lurking in the shadows. They want to take a bite out of my little mouse. I don’t like sharing what’s mine.
Warning: Ruthless Bishop is a dark new adult high school bully romance intended for mature readers. This book is part of a series but can be enjoyed as a standalone. The Sinners and Saints series boys are all devilish antiheroes brought to their knees by a spitfire heroine, so if you love enemies-to-lovers and hate-to-love type stories, you’re in the right place. This mature new adult romance contains dubious situations, bullying, blackmail, stalking, a predator, crude language, and intense sexual/violent content that some readers might find triggering or offensive. Please proceed with caution.

I really enjoyed reading about Thea and Conner. It was everything I expected for the third installment of this series. I cant wait for more
I absolutely LOVED Thea and Connor’s book! The bully and the “invisible” girl. I honestly could not stop reading once I started. These two and their texting had me hooked! So many other things happening at the same time…the drama, the mystery, the hotness! I highly recommend this!!
Oh My Goodness! I love this series! I’m completely hooked!
Ruthless Bishop starts off when an improper text is sent by a very proper girl to the wrong guy. That guy? Her neighbor, Connor Bishop, and the guy that teases her at school.
When Connor needs Thea to help him, he uses his ruthless ways to get her to do what he needs.
Thea harbors insecurities and dresses in an unflattering way and people at school pick on her for it. She’s known for being the teacher’s pet and is more comfortable in the kitchen than at a game or pep rally.
Connor has trust issues and is someone people know better than to mess with. Got secrets? Chances are Connor Bishop knows them. Want to keep them a secret? Don’t get on Bishop’s bad side.
These two are as opposite as it comes yet they compliment each other in the best ways.
Connor and Thea both have things they are hiding from the world. Things that make this book a little darker, a little more sinister than the first two.
When I first started this book, I thought it was going to be basically a good high school bully romance. Don’t get me wrong, it was but this book had more of a suspense factor to it. There is this evil lurking in this story that wasn’t really there in the first two books in the series.
I still love Devlin’s character the best out of the three to date but I love this story, this plot the best. It just grabbed me from the beginning and held me tight the entire way through.
While I thoroughly enjoyed this story, I do have some questions. Who were the mystery people and what was the importance of the necklace? Will the author shed any more light on them? I need more! Maybe in the next one?
The next book is Maisy and Wilder’s story and from the teasers in Ruthless Bishop, I am all here for it! Guy with a massive attitude that is directed only towards the sweet, quiet girl? Yes, please!
Seriously this was so awesome. The dynamics between this couple was so funny. I laughed at Conners bad boy ways. I enjoyed the back and forth between them. Hey we’re so dang hot! I’m so glad that I picked this one. This is my first book by this author and I’m definitely going to go back and read book 1 and 2. I highly recommend this book. Do I say How much I loved this? Well I did!
I’ve really enjoyed Sinners and Saints series and while Ruthless Bishop isn’t my favorite, it’s still a solid high school bully romance. This is the story of popular soccer player and principal’s son Connor Bishop and nerdy girl next door Thea. I loved Thea. She is a very relatable heroine who is struggling with the types of issues that most teen girls have faced at some point of their lives. Connor, on the other hand, starts out like a typical bully. However, there’s more to him than meets the eye and his life is not what it appears on the surface. I loved Bishop’s devious nature hidden behind easy charm. These two come together through a case of mistaken identity that puts Thea on Connor’s radar. The heat and chemistry between Thea and Connor is palpable but, for me, the romance felt a bit rushed. I would have loved more angst and push and pull. What sets this book apart from the rest of the series is the element of suspense and mystery. I won’t say much about that part so as not to reveal spoilers other than the fact that the identity of the villain appeared obvious from the start. I would have loved a more in-depth explanation of who exactly Dolos is and their agenda. Despite these minor misgivings, I enjoyed Ruthless Bishop and can’t wait for Maisy’s story!
I loved everything about this book and could not put it down until the last page. Connor and Thea were the perfect couple and their interactions were electric. Next door neighbors that never really interacted until one fateful night and one sensual text. Blackmail, a fake relationship and passionate encounters ensue. Will enemies turn into lovers, finding everything they never knew they were looking for or needed? The Sinners and Saints series is pure fire and each book is better than the last. Veronica Eden is a master of teenage angst and bully romance. You need to read this five star book and series today.
This is the 3rd book in this amazing series and is Connor and Thea’s story. Connor is one of the kings of Silver Lakes High, and when a text comes in from a wrong number is puts Thea firmly in his sights as someone new to control. As his mother is the principal as well as the towns councilwoman who is running for re-election, she wants Connor to have a girlfriend on his arm, and he knows exactly who to pick for this fake relationship. This is a well written dark and intense story which is filled with drama, secrets, bullying, blackmail, and is a steamy read which had me on tenterhooks and hooked throughout this addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more in this fascinating series and recommend this. Just be aware that the contend may contain triggers for some readers!
OMG the angst but worth every second of the drama! Connor is the classic politician’s son, even if he doesn’t want to be, he knows how to get people to bend to his will. Thea is the wholesome girl next door, except not really, she has secrets! Just like the first two books in this series (you don’t have to read them first, they are focused on different couples but I highly recommend them!) these characters aren’t perfect, and their flaws are pretty blinding, thankfully they figure them out and grow into the people they have the potential of being. I love the criminal aspect of it too, I don’t want to spoil too much so I won’t get too into it but the topics delved into are extremely relevant in todays society. Just an all around great read!

3.5/5
Ruthless Bishop is the third book in the Sinners and Saints series. It follows Connor Bishop and Thea Kennedy, the blackmail king and the shy, nerdy girl of Silver Lake High. One wrong phone number, a few texts, selfies and some blackmail later, Connor and Thea will enter each other’s world for better or worse.
Both characters caught my eyes in Tempting Devil especially with that one scene where Connor stormed out of class and Thea went after him in a hurry. I was very excited to read their story and know more about them and I wasn’t disappointed because I enjoyed it a lot! I liked their relationship a lot, they had many cute moments together and it was impossible not to notice how deeply they cared about each other. However, I found that Connor and Thea’s relationship evolved a bit too quickly, they went from fake dating to being in a real relationship quite early in the story. Unlike the previous books in the series, this one had a more mysterious plot that became more and more present and important throughout the story. I found this addition interesting, well written, but also well thought regarding the characters and their story.
Connor has a very messy and broken family and the only thing he wants is to get as far away from his parents as possible. To do so he decided to become the blackmail king of school. And thanks to his computer skills he collects information on almost everybody and is not scared to use it to get what he wants. He has trust issues and anger management issues, but as the story unfolds, we see more of his softer side, especially when he is with Thea, he quickly becomes very protective of her.
Thea also has her own problems at home, she lives with a very strict and negative mother who literally hates men. Because of that, Thea grew up having self-image issues and decided to secretly create a blog about herself to be more confident. She is very soft, but also determined and no longer afraid to stand up to her mother or Connor. Sometimes she frustrated me a little bit because she was very naive about some things, but she didn’t believe Connor when he tried to protect her. That said, I can understand her because their relationship didn’t start “well” and he has the reputation of someone who is willing to do everything for his own good.
What I also liked:
– The friendship between Devlin and Connor: compared to the previous book, they had a lot more scenes together. They always had each other’s back and you could see how strong their friendship was. Also the DevlinBlairConnor scenes!! I need more of this trio please
– DevlinBlair crumbs: I loved reading some of their moments through Thea and Connor’s POV, I think they’ll always be my favorite couple of this series. I love them sooooo much
– Hints for the next book in the series: friends to enemies to lovers!!!!
Overall I enjoyed Ruthless Bishop a lot, it was entertaining, Connor and Thea were adorable together and the two epilogues were perfect! I’m excited to read Maisy and Fox’s book because they really intrigued me and I’m glad this series is continuing. I can’t wait to collect more DevlinBlair and TheaBishop crumbs!

I do suggest reading the previous two stories of the series, the events of Ruthless Bishop are taking place in the same time frame as book two so it just gives you a better outlook on the characters and all that jazz. Connor Bishop is used to getting his way, he makes sure that he has everyone in his pocket so to speak and that way he is always in control. When a text from a wrong number ends up getting Thea on his radar, he now has someone new to control. Connor learns that he needs a girlfriend on his arm to please his mother and he knows just who to get to play that girlfriend, but what started out as fake for Connor ends up starting to become real.
Holy crap these stories are getting better and better, what a story Veronica Eden can weave. Connor and Thea’s story had me on the edge of my seat and that was just the first steamy chapter. With some amazing drama, a really scary subject, super hot naughty bits, and a good cast of characters. I adored this story and give it 5 stars.
‘ . , .‘
I waited so impatiently for this book, and now that it’s in my hot little hands, I have no clue how to act.
Bishop & Thea have an interesting chemistry from the very beginning, as well as an interesting history. They are dynamic and flow incredibly well. They almost jump off the page with their realistic attributes.
The continuity of the other characters from books past is outstanding. There are no flips of the switch, everyone is exactly who they showed us they were, and that is an incredible feat. I also love how much of their friendships we see in this one.
The timeline blends seamlessly within this world, not one hair out of place.
This was one of the lighter books in the ‘bully’ category, but there was no problem with that for me.
I love this series, and am so stoked for how things have gone & for the upcoming characters as well.
From the safety of her room she is true to herself. Her clothes, her pictures are the reality she hides on a daily basis.
He collects secrets to keep people where he wants them, under his control.
One moment of bravery, one wrong phone number and he ends up with a suggestive photo of her.
What will he do …
Ooohhhh what a fantastic and exciting third installment in the Sinners and Saints series.
Each book favours a different couple and this book is the turn of Thea and Connor.
I first thought this was just a bully read but it’s not. Behind the cover lies a story that will have you sat on the edge of your seat, barely daring to breath for fear of missing something.
The twists and turns in this book are amazing all I can say is expect the unexpected and then you wont be left gasping for breath in both shock and horror.
Thea is like a puppet at the beginning of the book, and that saddened me greatly. She doesnt let her inner goddess through at all. I felt quite sorry for her having to hide away.
Connor likes to rule with threats and promises. Your secrets are NOT safe with him that’s for sure!
He’s quick to anger and has issues but there’s more to him, and I always knew it.
I loved the storyline as I could quite easily imagine it happening in real life, and thus I chuckled away until the sauce came about.
There’s fire and there’s heat, and oh boy this book has ample of both! I needed a fan to cool down and even now my cheeks are tinged with pink.
This series gets better and better, even when you think that it cant possibly. I’m so glad I found it and I can’t wait for the next couple to step forward.
I have loved this series and couldn’t wait for this book to come out and was not disappointed. I love Thea she is wonderful so strong in her own right without being obnoxious or snarky. She has a quiet strength about her that is so endearing. Struggles with issues that all young woman tend to regarding their self esteem and self assuredness but deals with them but knows who she is and Bishop learns who he can be because of her. I like the story line, it truly shows that no one knows what happens behind closed doors, you might think you know what families are like but not unless you live it. Great Book Veronica. Great Series.
The Saints and Sinners series are full of nasty, bad, beautiful boys that are hard to take sometimes and their women are FIERCE and full of fire. Connor Bishop and Thea Kennedy are no exception. Even if Thea doesn’t realize it yet she’s as fierce and full of fire as they come, but she’ll soon find out. Thea makes one little mistake and that one mistake puts her on mean boy Connor’s radar. And you better believe he uses it to his full advantage. I have a huge love/hate relationship with Connor. He’s intelligent, determined and an entitled a*s, but there’s something about him that will make you forget all his flaws and lean toward liking him. And Heaven help her, his sights are set on sweet little Thea Kennedy. I love their story and I love the fact that they NEED each other whether they realize it or not.
Well… Ruthless Bishop – where to start???
After Wicked Saint and Tempting Devil, I thought I had a fair idea of what I was getting into picking up Bishop’s book. But boy was I wrong!
There are surprises, twists and turns and a plot line deep and unexpected, I was enthralled.
The issues brought to light are not necessarily uncommon ones, but it does highlight the struggle and inner demons we battle with and hide, while at the same time, showing the world a fake facade of happiness.
Bishop covers his pain with anger, attention and his fists, Thea, on the other hand, shields hers by using a cloak of invisibility and suppressing the person she really is. They couldn’t be further apart, but they couldn’t be more perfect together. After all, opposites attract.
“…The sunshine to my dark moonlight. Together we make an eclipse.”
Bishop uses his influence and connections to retain his “blackmail King of Silver Lake High” status. Keeping everyone in line with an iron fist using threats and extortion. Thea was never on his radar, until one wrong number text, drops her directly in his path.
King, meet Queen.
Their story starts off in typical Bishop style, with blackmail, but it develops into a soul deep bond. It is packed with swoon filled moments as the King falls to his knees, in love with the girl next door. As the storyline unfolds and they each work through their issues, they begin to grow together and learn how to stand on their own and ultimately, together.
I thoroughly enjoyed Conner and Thea’s story and am looking forward to the next instalment of the Sinners and Saints series – Maisey & Fox!!
What initially started as a slow story, then became really amazing. I must admit, I didn’t know what the final purpose of the story was but now I have realized the author’s main goal. So, dear readers do not be fooled by the initial chapters of this story because they are a means to amaze and capture your attention. It sure happened to me! Once the story started to develop in front of my eyes, I just couldn’t put it down. Thea and Connor’s story ate me up. I really thought that Connor Bishop was a bland character; on the contrary he is an unappreciated hero and thanks to Thea, our wonderful female heroine, he turns out to be a protective and caring character. My compliments go to the author that had the brilliant idea to build an overwhelming story.
This wasn’t the direction I thought it would go. Thea and Bishop’s relationship was hinted in the beginning of this series, but never given any idea how it would lead to.
I loved the story and was excited for it to be released. To give more about this book, would give to many spoilers. So I stop here.
Ruthless Bishop is book 3 in the Saints and Sinners series by Veronica Eden. This book focuses on. The book tells the story of Connor and Thea. Conner is the keeper of secrets and the giver of blackmail and that is exactly what he does to Thea when she gets ensnared in his web through her innocence and trying to let her confident, sensual girl out. But Thea isn’t going to go down without a fight! She will twist Conner up in knots, making sure he sees the error of his ways throughout the book.
This was a great read, not only do we have the innocent Thea who is an amazingly strong character. Not only has she been put in a precarious situation with Conner, but she also has to deal with her feelings regarding the past, deal with her mum and also deal with the pressures of being a young adult in a world where everything is put on the web for everyone to see.
On the opposite side we have Conner who comes across as cocky and self-assured. Yes he is sexy, but at times he can also be cruel, intense and uniquely smart. He goes head to head with his family (great storyline) and is kind of surprised by Thea who just won’t do what she is told! Together we have two characters that really do complement each other. One who is sweet and innocent and one who is rough around the edges, but as we know opposites attract, and these two characters set the pages aflame with their chemistry.
There is a lot going on in this book with a lot of varying storylines which all come together really well. There are (of course) lots of sexy scenes, lots of suspense and twist and turns. There may be triggers for some readers going in, but the author covers that at the beginning of the book.
Readers who have enjoyed the previous books in this series are going to love this one. I know I did!

I have read all of the Sinners and Saints books by Veronica Eden and I have to say, Ruthless Bishop was by far my absolute FAVORITE! (Shhhh! Don’t tell the others!)

My Review:
I have been waiting for Connor and Thea’s story for what feels like an eternity, and Veronica did not disappoint! Thea and Bishop starts out with them being, not quiet enemies, but they sure aren’t friends. But a picture here, a little blackmail there, and a deal is struck. Somewhere along their journey things change. They start to grow as people, as friends, and eventually a couple. But there is a dark force at work that wants to tear them apart.
After reading all the Sinners & Saints books, and falling in love with each and every single story/couple, I always say “this one is my favorite!”
With Connor and Thea, it is more true than the others (not that I didn’t love Lucas & Gemma and Devlin & Blair, because I totally did!) I just connected so much easier and on a different level with Con and Thea than I did with the others. I truly felt this story to my bones and got sucked in so quickly that there was no pulling me out.
Veronica did an amazing job with this book and I am so excited to see what comes next!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and comments are my own.
I had been dying to get my hands on Connor’s story and it was so worth the wait!! I loved every page of Thea and Connor. This story gutted me. All of the emotions I felt with what Thea went through. I loved Thea’s character. She is strong willed and doesn’t back down against bullies and stands up for what is right. When an accidental text puts her on Connor’s radar, the shy neighbor is no longer invisible. Oh Connor, get ready to swoon and laugh because I swear thats what I did throughout this book. Connor didn’t believe in girlfriends and was waiting for the day to finally leave and never come back. But he didn’t know that one text would change him.
Veronica Eden is vastly becoming one of my favorite authors. The way she writes I can feel every emotion that the characters are going through. I get sucked into the story from the very beginning. I just wish there was more of their story. I can’t wait to see read what else she comes up with!
