He knows that pain makes you stronger… choose a different path.
The reality is that she can’t go back, and the day Wolf walks into her life, she finally realizes that maybe she doesn’t want to.
Wolf is everything she’s ever wanted, and the exact opposite of what she needs.
They both know heartbreak makes you wiser…
Wolf knows that this is not a good idea. There are a million reasons—all of them bad—telling him exactly why he should stay away.
But when Raven’s nightmares burst out of her dreams and into her reality, he doesn’t have a choice anymore.
He has to protect her, while somehow protecting his battered heart.

my heart has been broken for Wolf ever since he was introduced back in the SWAT series. he was not given any chance of meeting his child, but then he did get the chance to be a father to his son Nathan. Raven was there when his sister needed someone, while she was being held captive. there was an attraction there between them, one that some where not to happy about, mainly being his deceased wife’s family the Hail’s. the was also the issue of Wolf being in a relationship at the time that they meet. but once he was free it was now time for him to act on the feelings that he was keeping hidden for this girl.
Raven was a strong female character, and even when she was told that she needed to be babysat. she didn’t want to give someone else power over her. even when she tried to run and hide Wolf was right there to bring her back. Wolf wanted to protect her, but also to have her as his own. she couldn’t get away from him no matter what, he found her. i wanted Wolf to find his HEA, and Raven was just the woman to give it to him.
more questions are now being asked in my head about the mysterious Rapheal (Rafe) after he made himself known again.
This one keeps you on edge and guessing till the very end. A very good story, loved these two. Would definitely recommend reading it, you won’t be able to stop reading till the very end.
5 Stars
What can I say except that I loved it…again! Every single one of Lani’s books I completely devour. And I do frequently over and over again. She’s one of those authors I never get tired of and I always #oneclick no matter what.
We first meet Wolf in the KPD Swat series, then of course he’s in all the Uncertain Saints books, then he makes another appearance in the Kilgore Fire series. Seriously, I didn’t think we’d EVER get to his book, but we finally did and it was definitely worth the wait! Wolf and Raven are both characters I adored and loved and was cheering when they finally got their happily ever after. Both of these characters have been through hell and back and came out stronger than ever…especially together. I don’t want to ruin it by saying a lot, so I’ll just say this…don’t wait! Read this today. My suggestion is picking up all of her books (there are a lot) and start from the very beginning. All of her books and characters intertwine in one way or another and are fabulous! Bring on the next series! I’m READY!!

Perfection! Elizabeth @ Carolina Chic’s Read
I can’t say enough about this book! I jumped on the Lani Lynn Vale train at the start of the simple man series! Needless to say RAFE is my favorite LLV character. So I got him again as the brother to our heroine in this book.
Wolfe and Raven will knock your socks off with the intense attraction that they have. They are both in constant danger the entire story… it deepens their affections for the most beautiful HEA! I just love all her characters!
5 Dangerous Stars !
A thrilling, exciting, suspenseful, and intriguing journey to go on. I absolutely enjoyed every single moment of this book.
Another 5 star read by the amazing Lani Lynn Vale. We have waited awhile for Wolf’s story and it was most definitely worth the wait. This story shows us what Raven went through during her kidnapping not to mention her struggle through life. Wolf shows us what Raven means to him and how strong the chemistry is between these two. This book gives us every emotion possible not to mention the dramas that seem to present at every turn for both Raven and Wolf. Both are amazing characters and like I say at the end of each book I read of Ms Vale’s this was by far the best, that is until the next book.
Wolf and Raven! WOW! What a story!! I enjoyed this read!! Steamy, passionate, sorrow, misunderstanding, and Love! Each story tells how her characters deal with what throws at them.
Finally we get Wolf’s story! I was so excited to read this. I couldn’t put it down unless I had to. Only for something important though, like taking care of my baby.
This is the sixth book in the Uncertain Saints MC series. They are stand alones. But you should read them all! You won’t be disappointed at all.
We actually met Raven in Controlled Burn (Kilgore Fire Series). We met her when July was kidnapped and Raven was there with her. This book starts at the end of Jensen’s trial and Raven leaving town.
You can feel the chemistry between Raven and Wolf.
Raven is a strong woman. We do get more about what she has gone through. And what was happening to her when Wolf found her and July. It’s not pretty.
Wolfe is a great man. He absolutely loves Nathan as his own son.
Just like in previous books, the quotes at the start of each chapter had me laughing.
“A woman can only run as fast as her boobs will allow her.” – Fact of Life
“Muscles will get you to first base. A beard will get you all around the bases with my vagina smothering your face right before you slide into home.” – Beardisms
Book Six in the Uncertain Saints MC and it’s still freaking amazing! Just in case you missed it, yes this is book six, yes you need to read the previous books.
Wolf’s book, we finally, finally after waiting for what feels like forever, we get the rest of the story. We met Wolf in Michael’s story from SWAT (see told ya to read the rest of her books first) when he was shot in the head by that maniac doctor that was killing all the cops and their wives. He took his best friend’s little boy, who by a miracle survived, and is now raising him as his own. Before Rusty Nail there were some questions: how was LLV going to handle such and such or x y z and we get the answers that we wanted, of course she also gave us a few more questions to ask, but that wouldn’t be a Lani Lynn Vale story if it didn’t.
Raven is a survivor, she has survived something that quite frankly I don’t think I could. She moved to try and move on with her life, to try and …. get better. And she did to a point, but she was still sort of just hanging in there, going from day to day. When Wolf shows up out of the blue, she does her best to avoid him. What she doesn’t realize at first, is that he is there for her, the story isn’t over and Raven is still in danger.
I have fallen in love with each and every single one of Lani’s men, from Sam to now Wolf. Sexy times were off the chain, drama, and violence. 5 stars is not enough, but its the highest I can give.
I’m kinda in love with Wolf. I can’t even explain why. He is just so alpha male. I liked his relationship with Raven. He really cared about her and even though she did things that drove him mad, he never really held a grudge against her. Thinks easily rolled off his back. I definitely liked Raven. Rust Nail was very exciting and had lots of danger happening giving just what I love about this authors books. I really ended up liking this book.
I couldn’t wait to get this book. Wolf is one of my all time faves from Lani. It seems like in every series there is one persons story that has you all jittery and tweeking like and addict. This one was one of those for me.
Rusty Nail is book 6 in the Uncertain Saints MC series and is just what you would expect from Lani Lynn Vale.
Sexy, alpha and protective.
Wolf is a big, bossy, damaged soul that has a huge heart that just needs the right person to open it up.
He’s easily one of my new favorites.
And Raven.
She’s damaged as well, she’s been to hell and back and came out stronger.
She still has fears and insecurities.
While she lusts after the one man who’s been there to help put her back together she reaches her breaking point, she can’t watch him with another woman so she runs.
That doesn’t last long.
Her past is coming back to haunt her but it’s not just her their after, they want everyone involved and that means she’s going to have to go back and face Wolf.
These two are so my new favorite couple, she’s got a mouth on her and he’s just freaking amazing. Their couldn’t be two people more perfect for each other.
As always this is one of those reads that you get sucked into in the first three chapters and do not want to put down. Had I not passed out while trying to finish the last 25% I’d have finished it in one sitting.
OK she did it again i’m such a huge Lani Lynn Vale fan she is such a awesome author to binge read to . After reading Coup De Grâce (Code 11-KPD SWAT, #7) I couldn’t wait to get Wolfs book and then you get little snippets of him and what he is doing then we get Controlled Burn (Kilgore Fire #4) witch is about Wolfs sister Julys story also loved that book we get more about wolf and at the end we meet Raven witch is the love interest in this book I got kind of scared thinking that this would be a love triangle because Hanna is mentioned quite abet in the series were the hero is involved but i’m happy to say that wasn’t going to happen . I loved both Raven and Wolf the Hot chemistry is definitely there lets just say Lani really knows how to write steamy scenes . Another thing I love about her books is she doesn’t forget about past characters we get to see the uncertain saints mc of really hot guys and their women we also get to meet some new characters that I cant wait to read their books . Of course once her books are available to pre oder i’m write there one clicking also adding to my TBR . I would suggest reading Controlled Burn before this . I received a copy for my honest review .

I’ve been waiting for Wolf’s story since Coup De Grace; I cannot believe this is the last one. Wolf and Raven are a hot mess life has kicked them in the ass.
Raven thought she had seen the last of the human traffickers who had kidnapped and tortured her and could now live in peace.
Wolf was in limbo; he lost his wife, unborn child, and best friend to a serial killer and had spent months searching for his sister.
Going to see the Hail brothers was the last thing Wolf wanted but he needed help. His sister’s life was in danger again and he’d do anything to keep her safe. Meeting up with Raven there surprised him and shocked her.
A hacker was turning his and people he was close to lives upside down and he had a feeling it all led back to the kidnapping of his sister and Raven. He’s taken down two of the key players and put a crimp in the trafficking rings income.
It was great seeing the rest of the guys and their women and getting updates.
Will they be able to bring down the head guy?
Can Wolf convince Raven they’d be good together?
Can Raven let Wolf in?
Worth the read
