I finally have a chance to team up with Bradley, the hot fellow police officer that I’ve been longing to get closer to. Somehow, I haven’t scared him off, even with my awkward flirting and my father telling him that I mimed giving birth to a cat as a child. When we get a call about a missing college student, I’m eager for the chance to work a case with Bradley, especially when we realize that … there might be something more going on. But Bradley and I are determined to figure it out together, even if it means that I have to walk through an adult shop with him by my side. It’s not my fault that the store owners think he’s a stripper with his tight uniform. Okay, maybe that’s just what I was hoping for. A man can dream, right?
Spending time with Bradley is better than I ever imagined. He’s sweet, funny, and goes along with just about anything I say or do. It doesn’t help that I have a problem of rushing into situations without thinking them through, like the death ride on his motorcycle. But when we go to Ace’s Wild to see if we can find out more about the missing person, I learn something new about Bradley that could help me get closer to him. And the book I buy might give me some insight if I would actually read it instead of just looking at the pictures. When he asks me out, I realize that maybe I’m not the only one who wants more. Here’s hoping I don’t scare him off with the location of our second date!
Rushing In is 41k words of humor, snark, action, romance, and the kind of restaurant you don’t want to tell your mom about.

Oh my gosh! Another fantastic book by The Queen of Sexy Snark. Seriously, her crown has devil horns and everything.
You should really read this book! Followed by all the other books she’s written. Really.
Have you read them yet?
I’ll wait…
I am so used by now to the snarky humor of Ms Winters that all the funny situations and banter between the characters and specially between Clyde and his father, was not a surprise. A mystery to solve, a criminal to stop in between funny dialogues, some romance and many hot scenes while Bradley and Clyde get to know each other and fell in love. The contribution of Ms Winters to this multiauthor series is simply wonderful!
This was a laugh out loud, fun book. Such witty, and downright funny, banter! Clyde is seriously so adorable. I loved him and his dad, what a terrific relationship they have.
Rushing In had a little of everything to love, honestly. Endearing characters, a sweet love story, and a mystery that tugged at my heart.
I really enjoyed how Ms. Winters balanced Clyde and Bailey’s working relationship, and their current case, with the light-hearted fun of their growing personal relationship.
And I liked the way the side story with Tanner and Jamal was incorporated, and how Bailey and Clyde handled things with them.
This was overall just a truly delightful story! Another one that I wouldn’t mind if Ms. Winters decided to expand on and give us more of Clyde’s unfiltered antics!
***Although this is part of the Ace’s Wild series, these are true standalones and can be read in any order.
I love this book! This is hilarious! I’m addicted to Alice Winters’ books and I can’t get enough of them.
Clyde and Bradley are perfect together.(Clyde might be a tiny bit crazy) I laughed throughout this book and there’s is so much witty banter. Also Clyde’s dad is amazing. He’s obviously the best dad.
“I’m not sure even you can fix him though. No one can help my poor, sweet child,” my father says as he hugs me to him. He’s literally the worst wingman I’ve ever seen. “Did I tell you about the time Clyde pretended to give birth to our cat?”
Oh no. Not this. “I was five.”
“We had so many people over!
There’s so many lines that I want to quote but I going to restrain myself because I want everyone to enjoy it as much as I did when I read it for the first time. Okay, maybe one more can’t hurt.
I start laughing, fully aware that I’ll laugh at anything he says as long as he’s the one saying it. His words are like music to my ears.
I want to meet Bradley’s mom so bad. Clyde meeting her would’ve been epic. I want more of Clyde and Bradley!

I laughed out loud at another Alice Winters book because she is so creative and expressive with her characters you can’t help but love them and want the best for them. Clyde and Bradley had an adorable relationship even when dealing with different aspects of their job. The motorcycle scene and the restaurant scene were hilarious. A perfect edition to this series!
Dinner & Dancing
Alice Winters, you slay me each time. There’s so many funny moments in this book I wish I could mention them all. I love Clyde’s father and his dad humor. Talk about sharing embarrassing stories; I think I would burst into flames, but at least it gives Bradley and Clyde things to talk about. “I never slip in anywhere out of curiosity” just may be my new favorite line. I wish I could visit Ace’s Wild, unicorns and Mjolnir, what more could you want?
The banter and snark between Clyde and Bradley is amazing, squash anyone? Clyde is so not smooth but he is entertaining in a “I can’t believe he said that” way. I’m cant enough of their conversations about cats and underwear, and Bradley has the best guidelines. The restaurant scene absolutely, thoroughly delighted me. I really liked the mystery that ran underneath all of the banter and seeing Bradley and Clyde work together. What I loved most about these two is that no matter what they’re doing, they’re always laughing and having fun. They are a true delight.
Rushing In is a wonderfully funny and sweet short story, with just a hint of kink. The banter between Clyde and Bradley was outstanding and honestly, everything Clyde did or said had me either in stitches, or cringing from secondhand embarrassment. I mean, I would’ve died after that failed motorbike ride, or especially when he thought he was having that moment alone with his cat… Bradley’s sense of humour worked harmoniously with Clyde’s and together, they were a recipe for chaos… or, as they often chose to see the results, sheer perfection! I also have to add that if you’re a fan of terrific side characters, especially family members, Clyde’s dad is a true gem you will not want to miss out on.
