“This is a bad idea.”“The worst.” He placed his hands under her butt and lifted. “Should I stop?”“I’ll murder you if you do.”Hailey Odom’s life is out of tune. The bar she owns with her father is a Texas-sized money pit that she has four months to save. Her mean as a snake ex-husband is breaking their daughter’s heart daily. And the town of Zachsville hates her guts for something that was only … heart daily. And the town of Zachsville hates her guts for something that was only fifty percent her fault.
And oh, right, she just ran out on her own wedding.
Beau Callen’s life is hitting all the right notes. Dubbed “The Heartbreaker” by his adoring female fans, he’s living the country music stardom dream. At least until an “altercation” lands half his band in jail and the other half in the hospital, this rising star could use a temporary place to crash.
The last thing Hailey or Beau needs is a scorching hot romance messing with their plans. So when Hailey rents Beau her backyard guesthouse and passions blaze hotter than the Texas sun, their dreams are in serious danger of going up in flames.
To make it all work, they’ll have to keep their hands off each other and their eyes on the prize. Too bad their hearts are singing a different tune.
Don’t miss Running After a Heartbreaker—A hilarious friends-to-lovers, sexy musician with a heart of gold, determined single mom, small-town swoony romance.

Single mom Hailey Odom and country music star Beau Callen are attracted to each other, but keep telling themselves that sleeping with each other isn’t a good idea. They try hard to just be friends and stay out of each other’s pants, but some things simply can’t be helped and so they decided that they can be friends who have some fun, sexy times with each other…
This book is a romantic comedy, but it’s also filled with angst because of the amount of growing up and letting go that Hailey had to do.
As with Running from the Law, Running After a Heartbreaker has relatable, three-dimensional characters.
I like how Beau steps up after Lottie was constantly being let down by her dad and how Hailey finally fought back after letting the town push her around for years.
Running After a Heartbreaker is a single-parent, small-town, contemporary romantic comedy written in the third-person narrative. It’s a standalone that ends with a HEA. No cliffhanger, no cheating.
Jennifer Grace did a wonderful job narrating these books.
I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.
This is the third book in the Brides on the Run Series, a Romantic Comedy. Charlie and Hank’s story is fun, intriguing, and sweet. This is a great second chance to love, and surprise baby story. Jennifer Grace did a great job with the narration. I enjoyed this story, and I highly recommend it. Now, I can’t wait for the next and last book in the Series, Running With After a Heartbreaker.
Running After a Heartbreaker
Brides on the Run, Book 4
By: Jami Albright
Narrated by: Jennifer Grace
Sometimes a series can go on and on and we get bored. But Jami Albright has created a community of people that I just cannot get enough of! This is the 4th book of the series and I think it is my favorite. Maybe because I love country music and the swooney hero, Beau. Maybe because of the spunky little girl, Lottie, who can throw a ball with the dog and turn around and belt out a tune! Maybe it’s the familiar characters all popping in that we have gotten to know and love from the previous books. Or maybe it’s Hailey, the star of the show, the strong woman with that need to be accepted. The one that fights for her daughter, and is loyal to her mother. It’s a story with of promises that are hard to keep. Love that is impossible not to accept and laughter to make your smile wide. I loved this story from the very start, and could not stop listening. Jami has a grammy winning book with this story!
Jennifer Grace continues her fantastic narration. I have loved her portrayal of this town. She keeps her characters consistent from book to book, and lets understand each one by the voice and her inflections. This team is magic and I can’t wait for more.

Hailey and Beau are a wonderful couple.
They don’t plan to be a couple but like all plans that doesn’t work.
Perfect for each other and a really great story.
Jami does it again! LOL romantic comedy that will tug on those heart strings. A must read!
Hailey is blamed by her hometown for causing her ex to lose a major game during their high years. All because he got her pregnant and couldn’t handle the news. So she has been going overboard trying to get the town not to hate her or her daughter by volunteering to do things for the community. Plus she runs her own bar which is turning into a money pit for her. When she overhears her soon to be husband plotting with her father to sell the bar she knows that she can’t marry him and walks away. With yet another thing to talk about her with the community keeps up their chatter about her. However she forgot that she rented her house out to Beau so when he shows up late one night she think he is a prowler. Beau is back in town because of craziness that happened the night the band learned they had a number hit. So when he learns that his plans for a place to live are falling through it just goes with everything else in his life. Yet Hailey comes up with a compromise that will work for the both of them. Letting him stay in the garage apartment she has and him playing at the bar for her. What Beau didn’t count on was falling for the beauty and her cute daughter. Will Hailey give Beau a chance at her heart? Can they work with him touring soon?
This is a great story that will have you laughing out loud at parts. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any book lover.

What a fun and flirty story! Don’t miss this one!
Jami’s books are the perfect blend of humor and emotion. She’s such a great writer!
Fun story but too much explicit sex.
Beau is a real charmer. His interactions with little Lottie melted my cynical heart. Hailey hides from the world afraid of the rejection she has experienced before. Watching her walls crumble was sweet and satisfying.
She needed a reality check along time ago. Her mother was a poor example of what you dont when you’re embarrassed and hurt. She almost let the one person that loved her walk away because she was being stupid. He gave her what she needed and wanted at the same time. He also loved her enough to let her do what she thought she wanted. I’m happy she came to her senses because normal women would keep him and not question anything.

Hailey is dealing with a messed up life. She’s running a bar that will close down in 4 months, her ex-husband is breaking their daughter’s heart, and she just ran out on her own wedding. The town also holds her past against her. Beu is a country music singer with half of his band in jail and the other in the hospital due to a fight. He needs some down time so rents an apartment from Hailey. Now if only the couple can stay away from each other and not give in to their attraction.

Funny, delightful, and impossible to put down!
Loved this so much!!!!!!
When I found out that Beau’s book was #4, I couldn’t read book 3 fast enough. I needed the smirking, charming, and sexy AF country singer’s story. And Ms. Albright did not disappoint.
Beau is a huge flirt, with a sexy as sin smirk, and has a heart of gold. I want to hug him and squeeze him and call him my own.
Hailey and Beau tried so hard to stay away from each other. It was best they remained friends. But guess what? Their chemistry was off the charts HOT. So they decided they needed to be friends with some fun, sexy times added in the mix.
And then feelings had to go and get involved.
Also, there was a cute and sassy, mini-Hailey named Lottie. She is a big part of this story and I fell for her hard. Constantly getting her heart broken, I just wanted to make all of her sadness go away. But Mr. Sexy Pants Beau stepped up and already had that covered. Because he’s awesome. And beautiful. And kind. He fell hard for her, too.
I love that we see the characters from the previous books, because I love them, too! The cast of characters from this series has found a place in my heart.
This is yet another amazing story in this series. This well-written RomCom deliciousness had me swooning, smiling, and tingling…everywhere.
So many warm fuzzies.
Lots of laughs.
Tons of smiles.
All the feels.
I would like to scream from the rooftops for everyone to read this series. Do you have to read the first three books before this one? No. But I really think you should. Because you will love them.
Jami Albright, you have done it again. Running After a Heartbreaker is a wonderful story about standing up for yourself, following your heart, and learn to love again.
Hailey Odom just ran out on her wedding. Her soon to be ex fiance wasn’t who she thought he was. He was a convenient attempt at having a family. But when he shows his true colors right as she is preparing to walk down the aisle, she does what any good bride would do. Run! Now she is back to being the talk of the town and trying to protect and parent her daughter Lottie.
Beau Callen is a heartbreaker according to his country music fans. But a wrong choice lands him in some trouble and he needs to disappear for awhile. He rents Hailey’s house since she is getting married. All that changes when he walks into his new digs and finds Hailey still living there. From there, life just becomes more interesting from sleeping into a princess bed to now occupying what Hailey refers to as “the slut hut”. Good times.
Jami Albright has written these characters with a lot of chemistry and humor. Her characters have passion and compassion. I have loved everyone of these stories. Thank you Jami Albright for another fantastic book.
I loved it! Accidentally married? Second chances? These books are right up my alley. Mari has always been the good girl and now she’s turned into the bad one. Waking up in Vegas married is something only bad girls do. Liam is a bad boy and now he has gotten himself hitched to a good girl. Mari has just left one relationship and falling right into this “marriage” is a nightmare. Liams past might catch up with him, can he get his “wife” to play along? Can these two find something in the mist of the rubble that Vegas left? Enjoy!
Absolutely adorable! This is such a sexy, hot, fun read. I have loved this series so much. More than probably any other series I’ve read. Running After a Heartbreaker is a super cute romantic comedy that leaves you wanting more. Jami Albright does it again. Beau and Hailey what a love story!
Jami Albright did an awesome job writing Running After Heartbreaker. I really enjoyed reading this novel and yes it had me turning the pages to find out what would happen next and laughing out loud.
This novel was funny and romantic and had a lot of twist and turns in it that kept me the reader interested and thrilled to read the outcome.
This novel was also sad as I couldn’t imagine someone treating his daughter the way Lottie was treated in this novel by her father. I suppose some people weren’t meant to be a dad.
The relationship between Hailey and her father is strained over the bar that is a money pit and the writer keeps you engaged as to the resolution.
I love how the writer introduces Beau to the novel and his character is so loving and caring; for being an up and coming Country Western Singer. He has a wonderful heart and is very likeable and believable.
Hailey is very unliked in her hometown of Zachhsville. However, I love how Jami allows Hailey to find her voice in more ways than one.
I also love how Jami keeps the little girl Lottie engaged in the activities in the novel and keeps her center stage with the rest of the characters.
This was one of the best novels I have read this year and I am encouraging everyone to read this novel as you too will love it. This is a must read novel and very entertaining.
I received this novel as an arc copy provided by the Authoress Jami Albright.
I love how this author has a great way of developing fun loving and witty characters with a storyline that keeps me entertained from start to finish.

The Brides on the Run series returns with the town scapegoat, Hailey Odam, struggling under the weight and scrutiny of ten years worth of judgement from the close-minded town of Zachsville.
Unfairly condemned for becoming a teen mum at 16 and ruining the life of the towns star football player, Hailey has come to believe that she’s worth nothing but hardship and bad luck. She walks out of her wedding to Roger, who’s opinion of her and her dedication to her failing business aligned with so many other people’s low opinion.
Rising country music star Beau Callen is staying in town whilst preparing for an upcoming tour. His attraction to Hailey doesn’t sit well with his ambitions, but he can’t help being drawn to her and Hailey’s sassy daughter, Lottie. The time he spends with the little family burrows into his heart, giving him feelings he never thought he’d want.
The way Beau helps Hailey restore her self esteem is beautiful and swoon worthy. His relationship with Lottie is heartwarming and makes up for the crappy job her own father does.
The writing is on point as usual; the characters are real and raw and human. Four books into the Zachsville saga and it really feels like coming home. Such an easy, comfortable and welcoming book to read. I love it.
