This book left me wanting more!
Excellent book! Can’t wait for the next book!
I real enjoyed it but it left me in the air about the girl that is running from her Stepmother.
I thought is was an open and shut book. Then I started reading. I had a difficult time putting it down. I could not figure out how the story could be resolved!
Just the the whole thing!
I like Katie Ruggle’s books. They are fast paced, always have a twist and yet you care about the characters too, Cannot wait for her next book in the series to come out.
Run to Ground was a very good story. Theo Bosco is grieving over the death of his partner. He is a cop who previously lost his K9 companion and now is trying to help his previous partner’s K9 (Viggy) to move on from his lost companion. Every day is hard to get through. Then Theo meets “Jules Jackson”, a new waitress at his favorite breakfast restaurant. Theo’s instincts are to stay away from Jules but he just can’t seem to stay away. His cop instincts tell him she is hiding something. As it turns out Jules has rescued her siblings from a terrible home environment and is on the run. With help, she has moved to the Colorado Rockies to start over and take care of her brothers and sister. She knows she should stay far away from any policemen but is absolutely drawn to Theo. The rented house Jules has acquired is a disaster. Theo visits her house with his canine Viggy. The moment Viggy meets the kids, he becomes a different dog and excited to interact with them. Theo continues to help Jules with repairs for the run down rental. Then there is the problem that someone is trying to kill Theo! Jules is accidentally involved in a shooter firing at Theo and his partners when she is registering her siblings at school. The adventure holds your attention totally. Definitely highly recommend this story for both the romance and the action!
This was good…humorous with some sexy rapport between the leads. Heroine was a bit of a dichotomy, strong and independent at times, weak and wishy-washy at others. I plan to read the second book coming out in September. However I didn’t enjoy this as much as I did her previous series (Search and Rescue). There were 4-5 of those and loved all of them.
