I couldn’t put it down! I don’t know how I’m going to make it until October for the sequel. I’m not going to include any spoilers so trust me you’ll have to read it for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.
Harry Hunter has to be the unluckiest & luckiest man in the world at the same time. Willow Rose does a great job with the twists and turns of the storyline and very human traits of the characters involved. Jean, Josie & Camille are all wrapped up in an emotional storyline in a way that’s hard to separate them from each other. Is it love? Jealousy? Or both? Which will win out in the end? That’s up to Willow but I can’t wait to find out.
Harry finds his world altered when his wife, Camille, awakens from a vegetative state after three years… Three long, almost unbearable years. The only things that kept him going were his faith, and his young daughter, Josie. But when Josie suddenly collapses, Harry is devastated. It’ll take a miracle to save his little girl…
An apparent miracle occurs, but Harry becomes disturbed with the changes he noticed in Josie…. And when she awakens him with her shrieks of terror, Harry finds himself drawn into a nightmare situation that threatens everything Harry holds dear…
A spine tingling, hang on for dear life, suspense filled thriller that will leave your mind whirling! I couldn’t put it down!
Harry Hunter is questioning a fellow detectives conclusion of a murder/suicide in a case that has been closed. When his daughter starts dreaming about the girl involved in the case, then leads him to a murder victim, he starts his own investigation into the deaths of the mother and her daughter. Unfortunately, Harry’s investigation will make his daughter a target, and he will have to race against time to save her from a killer. He also realizes that he no longer knows who he can trust in the town or at work.
Wow! I just love these characters, especially Harry. Harry is a good, honest man who adores his daughter, takes care of his invalid wife, loves his father, and cares deeply for his neighbor. This is an exciting, action packed read with lots of suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat. Absolutely fantastic book, I loved it!
I am voluntarily leaving an honest and non-incentivized review of this ARC.
I love reading Willow Rose’s books! This book is so jammed packed with so much excitement and action and thrills. This book also touched on a very important subjects! I can’t wait for the next book to come out. Thanks for the great book Willow!
A young homeless girl and her mother are living in a car. The girl is having nightmares of a man. One night the mother and daughter are killed and she sees the man of her nightmares watching. Another woman is being stalked.
This book continues where the previous Harry Hunter book left off. Harry’s wife has awakened from a vegetative state due to a drug overdose.
It’s hard to describe more without spoilers so I’ll just say this story is based on some real events that are terrifying. It’s well written, somewhat shorter than many books, and you may want to read it in one sitting. I am anxious for the next one in the series.
I read this book as an advanced reader copy and I highly recommend it. Not for young readers.
