Scarlet has her issues with love. Her 6-month rule doesn’t get in her way until she meets Nick. He’s not about to let her run from him though he has his challenges getting her to confront her past & get over that rule. Her 2 dogs are the best part of the book.

The story Run from Love (Bowser Belles Book 2) by Teddy Cat Hester is a wonderful book to read. It pulls you in right from the start and I found myself not wanting to put it down until I had finished the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Scarlett Peacock and Nick Schafer. Scarlett is a woman who has rules. One of them is a strict 6-month rule when dating. She doesn’t do relationships or meet children. Her time with Nick is just about up and she knows that she is going to move on. Nick is a man who is up for a partnership in his job and also loves to spend time with his son and Scarlett. He knows that his time is short. Will Nick get Scarlett to break her own rules? What does the future hold for Scarlett and Nick? Read this book to find out. This story was fun to read. It had playful bantering back and forth between Nick and Scarlett as well as times when I had a smile on my face. I also loved that Scarlett’s dogs Daffy and Dilly are included in the story. I enjoy when an author not only puts animals such as dogs and cats in their story, they become a part of it. I grew to care about Nick and Scarlett with each chapter that I read and wanted them to find happiness. This is a book that will hook you in and have you glued to the pages. I highly recommend reading it.
I enjoyed reading this and learning the quirks of the characters as they work out the kinks of their involvement. Their story is clean, sweet and emotional. It really digs deep into the different perspectives and expectations of being in a lasting relationship. I think they compliment one another very well and really do a pretty good job with their relationship baggage. Love his patience and determination.
This was a fun read with a little doggy side story. Scarlett had set a dating rule that she always lived by. Six months; that was all she allowed for a dating relationship. She made that known at the very beginning of any dating “relationship” she had. There was an expiration to their dating time. She had always lived by that rule until Nick came along. Even when the six month time was approaching, she was still determined, but somehow Nick got under her protective covering and wormed his way into her heart.
Both Scarlett and Nick had pain in their history with relationships and neither wanted to be hurt again. But, they had a good thing going. Was it possible to have a happy ending?
This was a sweet, clean, romantic story with a happy ending and a sweet little boy to add to the mix.
I was given an arc copy of this book and I willingly offer my honest review.
I am voluntarily writing this review after receiving a free copy.
I loved this book it was wonderfull to see the interaction between Scarlett and Nick.
Story is well written and easy to read.
Absolutely loved Run from Love by Teddy Cat Hester. It’s one of those stories that once you dive into it everything else fades away into the background and your real life is put on the back burner. All I wanted to do was read this book until it was finished!
Scarlet has a very strict 6 month rule when it comes to relationships. She is not one that wants to form any sort of attachments in a relationship so at the 6 month mark she ends it. Nick has his sights on outlasting her 6 month rule and he has to work around it so it doesn’t send her running for the hills.
This was such a cute and sweet story. Definitely a one-click and I cannot wait to read more from this author!
Run From Love is the 2nd book in the Bowser Belles Sweet Contemporary Romance series by Teddy Cat Hester. Each book can be read as a stand-alone, although characters are recurring through the series. I was unaware that this was the 2nd book in a series when I read it and certainly did not feel that I was missing out on any important information.
Scarlett Peacock has very strict rules in her dating: 6 months maximum and no meeting of any family or colleagues. She’s approaching the 6 month deadline with Nick Schafer and Nick is determined to break her rules.
I have to say that I loved both Scarlett and Nick, although I did want to shake some sense into Scarlett on several occasions. Nick is a sweetheart single dad to the adorable Noah. I’m such a sucker for a single dad with a cute kid. I loved the interactions with Noah, making sure he felt included. Added to the cute kids are some awesome fur babies who add so much to the story.
I could not put this book down. I binge read the whole book over a few hours. I loved the characters and the storyline and just lost myself in this heart-warming, sweet romance. I would definitely recommend this book.
This book is about Scarlett and Nick. Scarlett has a 6 month rule. It’s long enough to have some fun but, not long enough to have to meet each others coworkers and family. Nick is really into Scarlett and knows his 6 month expiration date is on the horizon. When Nick is required to attend a dinner date with the partners of his firm, he knows he has to show up. Nick is up for a promotion to become partner and is told to bring his girlfriend. He’s afraid to ask Scarlett because he knows she is just looking for an excuse to end their relationship. When he convinces Scarlett to go, everything goes great. Nick couldn’t have asked for a better outcome.
Scarlett also ends up meeting Nick’s son. She tries hard to distance herself from Noah but finds it impossible. Especially when her two dogs Daffy and Dilly love him so much.
Will Nick be able to convince Scarlett to throw her 6 month rule out the window and just be happy with him and their relationship? I thought this book was such a sweet read. I enjoyed reading this book and was glad it kept me interested from the beginning till the end.
Run from Love (Bowser Belles Book 2) by Teddy Cat Hester was a super romantic read. I would give this book a four out of five stars. I enjoyed the writing style and found myself reading page after page. I had my cringe reactions where I might as well have been reading between my fingers. I mean that in the best way possible. I love when a romance can get that kind of reaction out of me it means the characters are relatable. I liked Scarlett and Nick’s story, they had a good dynamic. I loved that Scarlett has an up front and honest personality. Nick kind of rubbed me the wrong way but I did warm up to him eventually.
I totally fell for this book! Scarlet was just the right amount of sassy and soft, and her dogs, Daffy and Dilly, were as lovable as they come. Nick comes off just perfectly. He has the ability to laugh at himself while holding on to his serious side. When Scarlet meets Nick’s son, Noah, she finds herself on the slippery slope toward love. Not just for Nick but for his son too. This is the perfect read for the holidays, from Halloween to Valentine’s Day. Settle down in your favorite chair with your favorite warm drink, and give this one a read. You won’t be disappointed.
Run from Love (Bowser Belles Book 2) by Teddy Cat Hester. This is such a fun sweet story. This is the story of Scarlett Peacock who has a strict 6 month rule when it comes to dating. Her first loves are her Swiss Mountain Dogs Daffy and Dilly. The 6 month rule saves her from getting too involved. . She is always upfront about it when she starts dating so there are no hard feelings. Nick Schafer is head over heels in love with Scarlett and he knows about her resistance to relationships but he’s determined to break the 6 month rule! Scarlett is now well into the 6 month time table with Nick a single dad but something about Nick is different than its ever been. She is reluctant to let the 6 months end. Will Scarlett break her 6 month rule for Nick or will she run from love as she always does. I loved this story and especially loved Daffy and Dilly! Read Run from Love you will be so glad you did!
This is an amazing emotional story about how our past influences our future and could potentially ruin something thats meant to be.
Scarlett is a young woman who can allows anyone to get close to her. She has strict rules and one of them is that relationships only last for 6 months.
Nick is a hardworking single father. His past relationship has made it hard for him to trust but he is prepared to risk everything to keep Scarlett for longer than the 6 months.
He pushes her boundaries at every opportunity firstly by asking her to his works party, then by introducing his son to her.
Can Scarlett let her guards down and embrace this new relationship and love or is she so stubborn she will keep to her 6 month time limit no matter what.
Its an emotional story and really well written. You feel for both the characters and cant help cheering with them and crying with them.
Run From Love is a Bowser Belles book by Teddy Cat Hester. It is the second book in the collection, but the first I have read. It can be read and enjoyed as a stand alone book. I would love to read about the other supporting characters from the book, but don’t feel like I missed anything by starting with book 2. It is a quick romantic book about Scarlett and Nick. Scarlett has a 6 month rule for dating, she cuts them loose at the 6 month point. She makes that clear from the beginning, so the guys know what they are getting into. Nick is no exception. He knew he was on a time limit, but thought he could charm his way into buying more time.
The two are complete opposites in every aspect, but it makes them work. Scarlett wears bright colored clothes, dyes her hair wild colors on a rotating basis, loves her dogs, and puts on skits at elementary schools for a living. Nick is commonly seen in dark suits, and works at a prestigious firm where he is trying to make partner. He has a son, and wants a family again. Can the spark between them be enough to make Scarlett break her own rules? Can Nick charm his way into Scarlett’s life for the long term? Read to find out! Its a quick fun book, you won’t regret it.

Run From Love: A Bowser Belles Sweet Contemporary Romance by Teddy Cat Hester is an easy and fun read. This story is as sweet as cherry pie- with interesting and likeable characters. There is some witty dialog, funny banter, and antics- which made this such a fun read. But, there were times I wanted to knock their heads together in frustration, too.
Even though the story isn’t dramatic or complicated- there was plenty to keep me engaged and entertained.
Scarlett has a rule she sticks to when dating. No relationship goes past six months. She doesn’t do complicated, messy, or awkward. Walking away in the end with no regrets. But her rules are about to be tested- and boundaries pushed, when Nick enters the picture.
If you like a lovely, sweet romance- then this is definitely the book for you!
Thank you, Teddy Cat Hester!
Run from Love: A Bowser Belles Sweet Contemporary Romance by Teddy Cat Hester is a fun and sweet romantic story that is easy to read. I really enjoyed Teddy Cat’s writing and fell in love with the characters, who are fully realised with real problems. I loved the relationship with the main characters, and they had me laughing at their banter and wanting to pull my hair out at the same time.
Scarlet has a strict 6-month deadline to her relationships, it’s better to cut and run than form attachments. Her life is her babies Daffy and Dilly and a bit of fun in between.
Nick has fallen for a certain lady and is determined to outlast the 6-month rule. But he knows he needs to tread carefully with the R word or lose her forever.
Teddy Cat has done a wonderful and fun story that is worth the read. I can’t wait to see what comes next.

So this was a really good book, that while it drops you into the story right away, we get the details needed pretty quickly. I really liked how we got to learn about each character and their reasons for being the way they were. I really felt for Scarlett as she was so scared and needed to be in control of it all and had no idea what to do with her changing heart.
Great read!
This is a sweet sweet story! It is filled with the kind of romance that I love. Oh don’t worry there are other things in there as well. Laughter, silliness, fun, and some cute dogs. I enjoyed how the dogs have active parts in the story. Then there is Noah. Children are gems in stories like these. Also there is the turmoil that causes Scarlett to put a six month limit on a dating someone. When Nick decides that six months isn’t enough…problems arise. Both of these main characters have something in their past that is putting a dampener on their future.
This story was told very well. It drew me in with the range of these characters. I love how the story flowed and easily kept me entertained. Scarlett is a fun female character. She is smart, witty and her own person. Nick is determined. He wants Scarlett and all her zaniness to be his. Oops there is his caveman coming out again. I loved how he acted with Scar. I could really *feel* his love for her.
This is a highly enjoyable story from a new to me author. I would love to read more from her.

Run From Love by Teddy Cat Hester is a sweet book with interesting characters. I have read a lot of books in which the guys set the time limit on any relationship. This was the first time I had read it the other way and it was refreshing to see.
Scarlett and Nick were interesting characters and it was great to get to learn their story.
The story was well paced and overall enjoyable. I quickly found myself hoping that Nick would find a way to win Scarlett round. It was easy to fall into the story each time I picked up the book. It was packed full of romance that helped to pull you into the lives of the characters. This was a great book.
