She dates, but suitors are told from the beginning that their association has a six-month shelf life. That means no meeting the family or attending any corporate functions. After the six months are up, it’s goodbye, no discussion, no regrets.
Single-parent Nick Schafer has always been a partnership type of man, in both his personal and professional life. He’s head-over-heels for Scarlett and good with her dogs. He knows her resistance to deeper involvement in his life is wavering. Given enough time, he could get her dogs and his son together and finally win her heart.
Unfortunately, time’s running out. His six months are almost up, and he needs her help to secure a coveted partnership at his investment firm.
Can he risk upping the timetable to push her boundaries? And if she miraculously agrees, what happens when his six months are over? Will she still run from love?
Run from Love is a standalone novel. It contains no cussing, some alcohol consumption, mild non-graphic sexual tension. There is a guaranteed happily ever after, with no cliffhanger.

This over the top sweet romance had me glued to kindle till I was done with the last page. Teddy Cat Hester is a new author to me and I was shocked by how much I really enjoyed Run From Love. I normally like my romances to have some heat to them but the writing of these characters and the storytelling; didn’t have me missing the heat at all.
Scarlett is set with not letting her “relationships” going pass 6 months so she won’t get hurt. But Nick is determined to make Scarlett change her rules. These two had me laughing, wants to punch someone and on the verge of tears if they didn’t stick together.
Nick’s son Noah and Scarlett’s dogs Daffy and Dilly were icing on the perfect cake in this story. I can’t wait to read more from this group friends.
This sweet romance was just what the doctor ordered. I jumped right in and found myself reading the pages as fast as I could – I was simply that enthralled and engaged. I found the book to be charming and really enjoyed the character development and plot line. Overall I felt Hester did a great job with this book and I look forward to reading more from this author.
RUN FROM LOVE is book #2 in The Bowser Belles series and is the first I’ve read in the series. It is a quick easy read.
The story is written in such a way that we are able to watch the characters grow as we turn the pages. There is a sweet innocence to it. It is about love and friendship and bonds that are tight.
The sweet romance is not a genre I read as a rule, and this was so refreshing not to have skim and skip repetitive sex scenes.
This is one of those books that I will recommend to my younger cousins AND elderly book club members. I will be downloading the other books in the series to see what else is going on with “The Bowser Belles”.
This book was fun to read and kept me entertained from the beginning to the end. Having the characters being well developed and engaging made for an enjoyable time.

Run from Love (Bowser Belles Book 2) by Teddy Cat Hester
5-stars
Run from Love (Bowser Belles Book 2) by Teddy Cat Hester was a fun romantic novel that was easy to read. I loved Scarlet, Dilly, Daffy, Nick , and even young Noah. They all had excellent character development. Dilly and Daffy were portrayed as very sweet and obedient pups. They had an excellent connection with Scarlett, their owner. Scarlett had a 6 month rule when it came to dating which to me was odd but made sense as the story went on. I loved how dedicated and determined Nick was in breaking that habit. He was an excellent man and was described as being very attractive. Scarlett and Nick both made the story excellent and very enjoyable. I loved following along as they moved their “non relationship” to a new level. Such an amazing read!
This is a sweet romance story that I enjoyed from the first page to the last. It is a well developed story that made me feel as if I was right there with the characters. The characters are connectable and realistic. Scarlett is a woman who needs to have more confidence in herself. She has a six month rule on her relationships, after that she ends the relationship before she faces rejection. In comes Nick, will he convice her to break her rule? I highly recommend finding out what happens next.
Scarlett has a 6 month rule when it comes to dating, Nick is someone who wants a relationship. As they get closer to the 6 month mark, Nick needs to show Scarlett there’s no need to run and they can have a forever together. The story line flows well and is a quick read. Great chemistry between the characters and a fun and entertaining story with a HEA.

This was a new-to-me author and I really enjoyed this book. Nick and Scarlett were characters I liked immensely, each was well-defined and the plot was entertaining. They come with baggage that was central to the plot, yet not over the top. A good-looking single dad who loves his son, a bohemian free spirit woman with a 6-month relationship termination date, some funny comedic situations (and did I mention 2 huge dogs?), and you have a fun read.
I enjoyed my ARC of this refreshing sweet romance, without any steamy scenes. Scarlet has a fun job doing dramatic presentations at schools with her business partner, D. Her boyfriend, Nick, has a corporate job with investments. The two make an interesting pair. Throw in Scarlet’s sweet Swiss dogs and Noah, Nick’s nine-year-old son, and the five of them have some good times.
This author knows how to blend fun, sweet sparks, and a little angst for an adventurous ride. I look forward to the next book in this series.

I received a free copy of the short work Run from Love: A Bowser Belles Sweet Romance Book 2: A Sycamore Hill Sweet Romance Series Novella: Scarlett and Nick’s story by Teddy Cat Hester and this review was given freely.
Easy flowing and fast paced with a happy ending.
As quirky and colorful Scarlett and 31 year old investment broker Nick approach her 6 month end of dating rule, Scarlett tries to resist all single dad Nick’s powers to renegotiate and Nick tries to decide if corporate demands and a promotion are worth the chance of losing Scarlett forever. Add in a nine year old boy and two 2 Swiss Mountain dogs, Daffy and Dilly, and you get a heartwarming story of two broken families finding friendship and love.
That was a great roller coaster ride from funny to heartbreaking and back. The character were really well done and the whole thing flowed well.
Can’t wait for the next Belle’s story!
Sweet, a touch sappy, and full of love.
That’s the feeling I got reading Scarlett & Nick’s journey. He’s all in but he has to convince Scarlett she is too. Why? Because she has already given them an expiration date. Nick and her girlfriends want her to expand her horizons. With some help from his adorable son, Nick worms his way deep into her heart and gets her to stop running away from the dreaded ‘r’ word…relationship. Smooth, sweet read. I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
