Two years. That’s the amount of time I’ve wasted lusting after Wyatt Douglas. He had me the moment he roared up on his bike and flashed his charismatic smile my way. I wanted to jump on, wrap my arms around him, and ride off into the sunset. Then my brother introduced him as his friend and crushed my short lived happily ever after. To make matters worse, we work together at World Class Wrestling and … at World Class Wrestling and our storylines are intertwined. I have a strict rule I’ve always adhered to: never mix business with pleasure.
But with each moment we spend together, avoiding that carefully drawn line is becoming more difficult.
There’s an ongoing rumble between my heart and my head. Which one will win out in the end?

“Waves can be fun, though. Think about this: how much fun is it to be out in the ocean when it’s placid? The rough seas are more exciting. Getting tossed around and diving through the waves is exhilarating.”
A well written book that I read without putting down. I love all of the characters and their relationships. Ronnie’s character showed her strength, whilst it also showcased her vulnerability. The storyline was fantastic and unpredictable, I didn’t see that twist coming.
Two years of holding back their feelings and keeping their relationship purely professional was like trying to stop the tide from rolling in. They built up a good rapport whilst working under the Gunn Club faction and managed to remain amicable in social situations. When it became too hard to deny her feelings a game of avoidance ensued, but Wyatt was relentless and kept pushing. Ronnie couldn’t let her heart be crushed again. With too much to lose, fraternisation in the work place would be destructive and her brother Jesse would go ballistic.
Throw in the drama of some of the other wrestlers and the theatrics of world class wrestling and it was unlikely they’d ever make it.
Jacob Chance has done it again, he is the go to Author for all things Sport Romance related and his words never disappoint. His character development is phenomenal and with each new book you can’t help but fall for his leads and their storyline’s.
Rumble is the perfect mix of flirty fun and is Book 2 in the Word Class Wrestling series by Jacob Chance. Rumble is the story of Ronnie Gunn (who you meet in Book 1 Tussle) she is the sister of Jesse Gunn and is one tough cookie with a side of Sass. Ronnie is the ultimate female lead, she’s a WCW champion and one third of the Gunn Club, she knows what she wants and Wyatt Douglas fellow WCW champion is one of those distractions she doesn’t think she can afford despite their intense sexual chemistry. Wyatt is also Jesse’s best friend and every bit besotted with her as she is with him, the difference is he can’t wait to show her any chance he gets why they should be together. I love these characters, their banter and their journey throughout the book, it’s an absolute credit to Jacob as the Author.
If you love a slow burn, then this book is a must read for you, you will become addicted from the first page.
Thoroughly loved this book, it’s my recommended read
Another fun sports romance!
Based on the descriptions, I could really picture the action happening in and around the wrestling ring.
What a slow burn! Ronnie and Wyatt were sort of afraid to start something, for fear of upsetting Ronnie’s brother Jessie. But Ronnie and Wyatt are just what each other needs. They both knew it the first day that they met.
Awesome cameo by the Boston Terriers hockey and football teams!
This story is absolutely amazing. Wyatt and Ronnie are the best. This story gives you all types of sweet feelings. There is not one moment that you won’t enjoy. As a wrestling fan, I love all the wrestling lingo. I am very pleased with this book. The writing and flow of this book is amazingly perfect. I absolutely recommend this book.
Jacob Chance is one of my all time favorite authors for numerous reasons. His talent for producing unique stories is absolutely refreshing and makes for an unforgettable read! The women he writes are strong, independent, and quick witted but also flawed and relatable. Ronnie was nothing short of that and a kick a%# chick I’m sure I would have loved and aspired to be back when I was sitting on the floor eating Dunkaroos and 3D Doritos while catching the latest wrestling match! The guys are always alphas with hearts on their sleeves who know exactly what they want and are not afraid to work for it. Wyatt was determined yet a respectful gentleman you can’t help but fall in love with! When reading Rumble I found myself trying to read faster so I could ‘see’ what happened next! It was funny, hot and intense..3 things I love when reading! I highly highly recommend this amazing read.
This is the second book in this amazing series, and is Ronnie and Wyatt’s story. These two have an undeniable chemistry but Wyatt is Ronnie’s brothers’ best friend. This is a well written flawless story, which is fun, entertaining, steamy, humorous and with witty banter throughout. This talented author has done an awesome job in penning this masterpiece, and I cannot wait o read more of his work, which I highly recommend for all.
The World Class Wrestling series by Jacob Chance are becoming fun. flirty, hot, and sexy! I grew up watching wrestling and loved the show so much I thought that one day I could be a woman wrestler. Yeah that never happened. But I got to live through Ronnie and I loved it all! Rumble is exactly what we needed. It didn’t hurt that my hunk Jesse makes a lot of appearances. Lilah is a hoot. And Wyatt…watch out world. There is a new wrestler in town and he is super hot, funny, and perfectly un-perfect.
So much sugar and spice, I loved the “pretend” love affair that grew to be so much more. But could Wyatt get over what Ronnie was hiding from him? Jacob Chance is on point when he gives us the drama. You seriously will not be able to guess the outcome until the end. Great story, characters, and a world I love to get lost into. Rumble is a book recommendation I will be spreading around for months to come.
Ringside Heat
A fun and sexy read that left me feeling reminiscient of my WWF fan days. Get ready to RUMBLE! Ronnie and Wyatt are about to heat things up!
Ronnie is an independent, total badass woman who holds the women’s World Class Wrestling title belt. She is career focused and has no interest in a man. Getting burned was no fun, so she’s done with letting anyone close to her heart.
Wyatt has worked hard for years just to make it to WCW. Once he gets hired and teams up with Jesse, Ronnie’s brother, and Ronnie they are unstoppable.
The only thing is…. there is this undeniable attraction between Ronnie and Wyatt. And it’s smoking HOT! The tension between them is combustible! Can these two stay away from eachother to protect both their jobs and their hearts?
This was a great story. It was fun, flirty, sexy and HOT!!! It was nostalgic of my days of watching wrestling. There was great friends, a protective older brother, secrets, a few jerks to keep things interesting and LOVE!!! The author always throws in sweet moments and you will love them. Another great read that will make your heart happy!
Get ready to rrrruuumble!!
Jacob Chance has rolled out another awesome 5 star read with the 2nd book in his World Class Wrestling series! I loved book 1, Tussle, but Jacob upped it a notch, or 2 or 3, with Rumble. He has given us a sexy slow burn romance with great characters and an excellent well written story line that will pull you in from the beginning.
Wyatt and Veronica, aka Ronnie, have an instant undeniable and off the charts chemistry from the day they meet, but almost immediately they realize that they are not only going to be working together but that Wyatt is friends with Ronnie’s brother, Jesse. Both push their feelings back and try to accept the fact that they can not be, but after 2 years of working together their spark and attraction is at an all time combustible high. And just when Wyatt is ready to give up, fate steps in and gives him hope that he can finally have Ronnie for himself.
Note – Although this is book 2, it can be read as a standalone without compromising its storyline. Although, I highly recommend reading Tussle as it is an awesome book also! 🙂
I loved Tussle, book 1 in this series, and was a little worried about any subsequent books keeping up. But boy was I wrong. The author has given us another look into the World Class Wrestling world, with some epic matches/mic talk and amazing behind the scenes looks into the wrestlers private lives. The storyline is funny, romantic and exciting, with characters that are very animated and flamboyant in the ring but very loving and personable when out of the spotlight. They will worm their way into your heart and leave you wanting more.
Ronnie is a sexy independent woman who happens to be the Woman’s Wrestling Champ and on top of the world. But as for her private life, it’s a total mess. Her past relationships and her rank in the wrestling world have convinced not to mix business with pleasure. She lives for the WWC and won’t do anything or let anyone interfere with that. But from the day she meets Wyatt, The Genetic Freak, she wants him. The pull she feels towards Wyatt is electric. But he’s off limits because 1 he’s a wrestler and 2 he’s her brother’s best friend. So as hard as it is, she put Wyatt in the friend-zone.
On the flip side, from the first time Wyatt saw Ronnie, he knew she was the one. While he doesn’t like it, he gets where Ronnie’s coming from, because he is driven to be on top and wear the coveted belt. But when the boss decides Wyatt and Ronnie should play like they are a couple for the fans, all bets are off. The chemistry is too strong to just pretend 24/7. What happens from this point is an amazing ride told in true Jacob Chance fashion. It’s fun, exciting, frustrating and sexy all rolled up in one outstanding read. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 stars and I highly recommend grabbing up Rumble (and Tussle, book 1 of the series) and just lay back enjoy the ride. You won’t regret it.
