OMG!!! Camilla has outdone herself with this book. Bravo .
So Lexi is back and this will be her biggest challenge yet. When John Solomon is shot and almost dies, she feels like her whole world is falling apart. What does she do? She bust her ass looking for the man who tried to kill her beloved fiancé. But it is not as simple as it first seems, as the gunman is not the person calling the shots. As Lexi and the gang get closer to the truth her life becomes more in danger by the minute. The clock is running out and one of their own may be in trouble.
I want to start by saying how much I love this series. I get so excited every time a new book is ready. This book is no different than the rest of the series. It is full of danger and action. A page turner through and through. I could not put it down. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I even shed some tears.
I am so in love with Lexi and Solomon. Hell I love the all the characters. But the bond between Lexi and Solomon is so strong and their love is amazing. In this book we get more insight to his past that Maddox warned Lexi about. It doesn’t really help him none. Poor Maddox. He never really had a fighting chance. And that Lily. Man she cracks me up! I love her.
This whole series is fun and energetic. Each book is as good as the one before. The characters are amazing and energetic and the cases are intense. Not to mention the sex appeal that Mr. Solomon has going on. Mmmh hmmmm that man is fine.
If you haven’t started this series yet, then you are missing out and I suggest you pick them up. You will not regret it. If you are looking for action and adventure, with a dose of danger and hot romance, then this is for you.

I had to sneak in some reading time between Christmas obligations as this was released just before Christmas. I really enjoyed this installment of the series, maybe even more than the last ones.
When Solomon is shot Lexi starts searching in his past. When they got engaged Maddox told Lexi she knew next to nothing about Solomon’s past, which was right. So it was high time and this story provided enough. I know there are Maddox fans out there, but I love Lexi/Solomon and enjoy the development of their story. This one was a very good read even when I figured it out early on. Loved the way the Graves family was there for Lexi and Solomon when needed.
Lexi has been maturing a lot since the first books. I look forward to the next. (2018)
This whole series is wonderful! Really good imagery and characterization. I feel like I know these people!
Fun latest installment
This is a fun series of chick lit mystery books. I enjoyed catching up with Lexi, Solomon and her family. The premise of this installment is that Solomon is shot and in a coma and Lexi has to work with the her agency and her family in the Montgomery PD to solve the case. I had to knock a point off of my rating because it was pretty obvious who was the reason behind the shooting. If you enjoy this series, you will like this.
Great series!
if you are a fan of the Lexi Graves books, then you will not be disappointed by this one. It is a testament to the strength of the family unit and the love between and a man and a woman.
Lexi Graves is a great character, funny and clever. The stories are all well written and entertaining.
From the beginning of the series, I have loved Lexi and her friend. With every book, that love grows. Rules of Engagement is the BEST of an outstanding series that almost any reader would enjoy. Between heart and humor there is so much that pulled me into Rules of Engagement, but this one leans towards heart as Lexi waits to find out if Solomon will recover from a serious injury and tries to find out who is behind the evil deed. While any one can enjoy the book by itself, a reader’s attachment to the characters and knowledge of her background with the other people in the book will make the experience even greater.
