My boyfriend broke up with me three months ago and became engaged to my cousin.Coincidence? Doubtful. The week I got the wedding invitation, my boss, his dad, fired me.Coincidence? Highly doubtful.Me crashing their wedding at an exclusive resort?Totally planned.I’m Laura, the jilted ex-girlfriend and soon-to-be thorn in my ex’s side at his own wedding. But my plan wasn’t to ruin their wedding. … resort?
Totally planned.
I’m Laura, the jilted ex-girlfriend and soon-to-be thorn in my ex’s side at his own wedding. But my plan wasn’t to ruin their wedding. Okay, maybe a little. It’s getting my job back. Once my ex-boss, my ex-boyfriend’s father (it’s complicated) noticed how well I made it through the wedding without messing up his precious son’s day, then he’d hire me back as a chef at his five-star restaurant, The Hen. Perfect plan, right?
I’m Rock, the owner of The Blue Spot, an exclusive resort just for Billionaires. The place was about to open and we’re having our first official event to create buzz. The wedding of the year between a billionaire heiress and the son of a famed restaurateur. Everything had to be perfect. And everything was going smoothly until the fiancé’s ex showed up. Now it’s my job to ask her to leave without causing a scene. The problem wasn’t the guests noticing her. It was the appendage between my legs that wouldn’t let me forget her.
Ruining the Billionaire’s Wedding is the start of a hilarious, sexy new standalone series called Blue Ridge Mountain Billionaires.

Really cute and funny story. Loved the characters. First reading for this author can’t wait to read more of her books. Storyline kept my interest from beginning to end…
A fun snowy day read! It’s a rom com with a jaded lover who’s not really jaded, she just wants her much loved job back! It’s got calamity, some heat and and a happily ever after ending that rom coma are known for. An enjoyable read with likable characters and a good story line!
This was very enjoyable. Laura and Rock are very cute together, the sex was hot as hell and it was the perfect Monday read. Very short but also sweet. My only complaint is that I wanted this to be longer!
I’m already eager to read the sequel which I’ve just gone right ahead and pre-ordered because James (Rock’s brother) was adorable and sweet and I’m excited to read about him and Marika.
Laura Nutters lost her fiancé and her job in one sweep and then, anger pushed her to make a bad judgement call that threatens to have her removed from the reception at said ex’s wedding.
Rock Diaz has poured all his energy in The Blue Spot resort and is not prepared to have anything jeopardize his dream before it even takes off the ground. But when the exclusive wedding party being held at the place is on the line when the chef walks out, he’ll be forced to make difficult decisions on the spot.
This story is a short and fast read, funny and sexy to boot. Rock and Laura have their respective hung ups and make for one sexy couple. I really enjoyed reading about them after finding other related characters in the Jingle Balls Anthology.
I can’t wait to read more about the billionaires from Blue Ridge Mountain.
A short fun story. A good introduction to different characters and their background.
I was happy to know that the special coffee was still good at the resort.
Now I’m prepaired to get to know the rest.

I adored this opening gambit into a new series by Elizabeth Lynx! Ruining the Billionaire’s Wedding has set up a really intriguing world that I can’t wait to delve further into!
Rock is weeks away from officially opening up his new resort and everything that can go wrong is going wrong, including not having a chef for his restaurant, which is kind of a huge problem!
Laura has pretty much had the worst few months ever, including a dumping, a wedding invitation from said ex, and a firing from said ex’s father. Not great. So, she thinks she can fix it all by stepping in and helping out Rock with his chef issue, two birds one stone, right? He gets a chef, and she gets to impress her ex boss, and hopefully get her job back.
What should have been simple and a no brainer was of course anything but, and this story made me laugh, giggle, want to reach in and smack characters upside the head, and sigh with happiness! So basically, it was a lot of fun! What are you waiting for?!
This is a sweet, funny rom-com with a crazy storyline! Laura had everything she ever wanted in life, great fiance, great job , until one day reality came crashing down and she loses everything . She comes to her ex’s wedding to try and get her job back, however she encounters the owner of the resort and comes face to face with somebody with the same passion she has. A great entertaining story and what a beginning to a great new series.
This is a prequel to the new Blue Ridge Mountain Billionaires series. It’s a quick and steamy and enjoyable story.
Laura’s ex is now marrying her cousin and his dad fired her as chef at his restaurant. Laura is at the wedding to prove herself as chef and try to get her job back. Rock is the owner of the Blue Mountain Lodge and isn’t about to let someone ruin the first big event held at the resort. Laura sets out to impress the sexy billionaire.
Good story and characters. Rock and Laura have lots of steam and attraction.
I really enjoyed this lively, entertaining, quick read romance. The characters are likable and the sexy, lighthearted, funny love story made me smile!
Laura Nutters and her sister, Julia, is at her ex’s wedding to her cousin. She is there to get her chef job back from his father. He fired her six weeks prior to the wedding. She did not even know he was seeing her cousin until the invitation for the wedding showed up. The place where the reception is held has just lost three chefs! So, Laura stepped in to help out and try to impress her ex’s father. He threw a fit~ So, Rock and his brothers own the resort that catered to the rich. He went in to fire her, only to hire her for the next four weeks. They even started seeing one another and became intimate during that time. Then, at the pre-opening dinner she planned, Mr. Wiseley offered her a job again as his new head chef at a new restaurant. She could not believe it and accepted because Rock never said a word about her staying. After only five days, Rock’s brother came in and announced he had reservations where she worked. They went there…will she come back? Will she work for him? Stay with him? I received this as an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.
Very good romantic comedy
It’s an excellent story and I really liked the characters. It’s both tender and hot.
I expected more twists because of the title, however the story is funny, romantic, sometimes a little touching, but still excellent.
I really liked Laura’s determination and her passion for her job, which finally opens doors for her after her ex-boyfriend and ex-stepfather destroyed her career and her personal life as chief.
It is also in part to find this job that she goes to her ex’s wedding. But Laura finds it difficult to control her words, and it complicates her situation. When Rock, the owner of the establishment, during the wedding, needs a chef urgently, she jumps at the opportunity. However, he is reluctabt : her ex-father-in-law accuses her of wanting to poison everyone. Laura must therefore prove her worth to Rock and pass the strong attraction she feels in his presence.

This book is an adorable, sexy, and quick read prequel to the Blue Ridge Mountain Billionaire’s Series and this reader just loved it. It’s funny, flirty and romantic all rolled into one hilarious plot. The author’s writing style had me laughing and smiling throughout, even when things for poor Laura seemed to go from bad to worse.
I don’t want to give away too much of the plot, but this story is about Laura and Rock (the owner of the Blue Mountain Lodge for Billionaires). Laura thought she had it all. She had a boyfriend and was finally a top chef at a NY restaurant (a restaurant her boyfriend’s father happens to own). But when her boyfriend dumps her for her rich cousin and his father fires her, Laura’s world comes tumbling down. Trust me when I say she was more upset about losing her dream job than losing her ex. So, she decided to go to the wedding (since she was invited) to show she had no hard feelings and hopefully show she deserved to get her job back. Well boy does that plan backfire. From here the book takes off with a roar. Laura becomes Laura 2.0 and demands to be heard, especially from Rock, the tall sexy owner of the Blue Mountain Lodge where her ex’s wedding reception is being held.
Kudos to the author for a great novella and this reader is looking forward to more from the Blue Ridge Mountain series. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars for a must read prequel to what this reader feels will be a fun, sassy, exciting, romantic series.
