This sexy single daddy is going to ruin her…for all the right reasons. My focus is my daughter, always. I’ve built a solid, simple life for her. When Addison shows up in town, my attraction to her is too tempting–I seek her out, despite my fear of shattering the life I’ve built. She’s got plans, and so do I. She wants to start over here in Ireland, get over the heartbreak of her cheating prick of … heartbreak of her cheating prick of a husband. I just want a secure family life for my daughter.
But I didn’t plan on this–an ignited passion I’ve never felt before, a need to possess her completely.
Neither did she.
And when Addison’s ex drops one last bombshell, it puts everything we feel for each other in jeopardy.
There’s a choice to make–run, or fight for what could be.
And if she won’t fight for us, I will.
Ruined Plans is the first installment in Tracy Lorraine’s steamy Irish single daddy Ruined trilogy.

Excellent, but multi book situation. Be aware going in.
Wonderful book that drew me in from the first page. Addison is a strong woman who leaves her husband after she catches him cheating. Thank goodness she has some great people to help her get through her divorce, because lots of secrets come to light and she needs all the support she can get. Looking forward to book 2.

Loved the whole series
Sweet story
Hate when u hav to buy the next 2 books for an ending!
Addison is a lawyer in London whose life is about to take a different path. Her husband is a lawyer, too, and a rigid man who expects her to dress in Gucci and high heels every day. Their relationship isn’t the best, but when she finds him with her own PA on his desk, that’s the end. Addison grew up in Ireland, so she goes home to find herself again. Her godmother, Aunt Addy, welcomes her and lets her know that she can stay as long as she wants. She needs some time to find what she’d like to do. What she has always loved, since she was a child, is bake! Perhaps she can find a building to convert into a bakery once she receives her divorce settlement. A problem with the water shutting off in the middle of her shower sends her to the garage to check if a fuse is blown, right into an encounter with the electrician. But, he’s not the electrician! He’s the boyfriend of Addison’s best friend and Aunt Addy’s daughter, Kayleigh, who recently passed away. She can’t forget the looks he gave her and the feelings she had when they first looked at each other in the garage. He’s interested, but Addison isn’t sure it’s the right thing to do. She finally follows her heart instead of her mind, but once more her world is going to change. This is the first part of the series and ends in a mild cliffhanger. An enchanting tale!
I both read and listened to Ruined Plans and the narration was beautifully done by Nicole Blessing. Not only is her accent delightful, so is the pronunciation of the Irish words.
“Ruined Plans” (nook) was interesting. I liked the story-line and the characters. I prefer stand-a-lone stories so I was disappointed when I reached the end. However, it was my fault for not realizing that I would need to read the next two books.
Addison was a lawyer so, when the real estate agent told her there was a problem with her credit, I expected her to investigate. If nothing else, she should have immediately contacted her solicitor. To me, that was a big red flag.
Only complaint is it left you hanging, darn!
Finished book three and all is good! Yea!
I was immediately drawn into the story as soon as I started it. The chemistry is off the charts and kept me turning the pages all the way to the end. I wish the story was longer because Tracy does a phenomenal job and I didn’t want it to end! (I’m selfish like that LOL) I highly recommend this book and with the way it’s written, you could easily get through it in an afternoon which leaves time to read the other books in the series!
I purchased the trilogy & when I finished Book 1 there was no Book 2 or 3. There was only a download that took me to Amazon to purchase the remaining books. What a disappointment & letdown!!!! I paid for a book I could have read for free.
The entire series could have been one book instead of three, each less than 100pages.
Couldn’t put it down until I was finished
The story moved along nicely, but left you hanging in the end. Some of the scenes were laugh out loud fun.
Loved the storyline. Just started the sequel
Great read! Can’t wait to read the next one. Addison is in a life she never really wanted. She’s a lawyer, married to Edward & living a somewhat lavish lifestyle. Except for the fact that she works all the time & doesn’t even remember when the last time she had sex with her husband. It’s Valentines Day & again she’s working late so she decides it surprise her husband with take out in his office BUT he’s the one to surprise her when she opens the door & finds him doing her PA. The last nail in the coffin her marriage was already in Addison goes home to Ireland to start over. She sets a plan to begin her new life doing for herself & doing what she wants, baking, until Blake the hunky, single Dad enters her life.
Can’t wait to read the next story to see what happens with these two.
I enjoyed reading this book. It is part one in this trilogy, I bet you can guess as to weather or not there would be a cliffy. Which doesn’t bother me one bit, and well there are more parts to read.
Reading this story I loved the characters. Not just Blake and Addison but other characters as well.
The idea was simple, leave my cheating prick of a husband, move back to Ireland, and live out my dream.
Sounds easy enough, right?
Sounds like a simple plan, but we all know plans do not go how we expect. For Addison she meets a sexy hunk of a man Blake. And their meeting is so funny! I really enjoyed that part.
This was pretty fast paced. There were a few spots I would have liked to see it slowed a bit and go into more depth. But all together a sexy, quick read done in an afternoon. I look forward to seeing what happens in the second part.

The writing is wonderful. When you find your husband cheating with your PA on Valentine’s Day. You go to the one place that makes you happy. Ireland and your aunt Addy. Dream big.
Great plot that kept my attention right from the start
and to the end. Just remember it the first part of a trilogy
so it finishes up on a bit of a cliffhanger looking forward to
the next book in this story.

As she tries to pull herself together more secrets are revealed she meets single dad Blake who makes her see and feel things. Ends on a cliffhanger wanting for more.

Ruined Plans is a quick well written, entertaining story about two people who were destined to be together. Addison and Blake are great characters and they are perfect for each other. This is an emotional read and a great start to the trilogy. I am looking forward to reading the next two books and finding out what happens next.
