Addison and Blake’s story continues in this wonderful second book in the series. It does end in a cliffhanger, so be prepared for that. This book adds some more twists and turns and I’m looking forward to reading book 3.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Just as Blake asks Addison not to return to New York to try to clean up the mess her ex-husband has made of her life, she stops walking to the plane and decides that she needs to make a new plan…with Blake! He shows her how much she means to him and Addison has no doubt about her feelings for the man. Addison’s dream is to own a bakery and to create cakes, muffins, pastries to her heart’s desire. But a crush from her childhood makes an appearance and with him, a new side of Blake shows its face. Jason was always a slightly bad boy and he doesn’t seem to have changed one bit. Blake is keeping a secret from Addison and when it comes out, it just might spell the end of them. My heart hurts for Sinead because she has hit that point in her life when she really needs a mom and a dad! Painful cliffhanger!
OMG! I don’t even know what to say right now. Addison & Blake are giving it a go. All she asked for was one promise, don’t lie to her & she would do the same & then Wham!! I feel like I’ve been hit with a board. I’m crying inside for Addison. I have to read Promises immediately this has got to be a misunderstanding. Off I go before I become an even crazier mess.
A fast paced really well written that is 2nd in this trilogy. It is an immediately addictive story including great characters. Addison goes back to what she feels is home after finding out her husband was cheating. As she tries to pull herself together more secrets are revealed she meets single dad Blake who makes her see and feel things. Their relationship begins to move wuickly and is hot and heavy. Surprise teists add a nice twist. Ends on a cliffhanger wanting for more.

This was a good short read, second in the trilogy, and the story continues in the next book. I enjoyed this book and will be getting the next to finish the story. It kept my interest, had good characters and storyline. I received it as an ard and voluntarily reviewed it.
Ruined Lies is book two in a trilogy and it picks up where Ruined Plans left off. Addy and Blake’s story is full of drama, angst, secrets, lies, heartbreak and twists that kept me turning the pages. I am looking forward to book three and finding out how Addy and Blake’s story ends.
I swear the more I read the deeper I fall in love with these characters.. Tracy enjoyed every bit of me in tears and cursing her. This is book 2 in Addison and Blake’s story. I am loving the growth of these characters at this point. The twist and turns in this book had me on the edge of my seat. I honest love Blake to death. Tracy had created the perfect book boyfriend. Once again I was drawn in to this book from the first sentences. I honestly can’t get enough of all these characters. I feel like these characters are so real. You feel ever bit of what these guys feel. The end had me wanting to wrap Addison in a hug and never let go. I can not wait to start book 3. These books are must reads!!!!! I don’t know how many times my husband asked me what I was smiling about read this book. I may or may not have slung my phone on the couch at the end, so be prepared..
Well after the ending and deception that occurred with her soon to be ex, it’s no wonder Addison has a thing about lies. As everything changes around her some good some well. . . does she resort to doing the thing she hates most. The author let’s us in on a game and not the good kind of lies, omissions, and misunderstanding. It’s a great read and I like this couple together so I want them to make it work. Now if they can just get past this. Great read. I love this author and her style so the books always feel like their too short. Yes there is a cliff hanger. Yes you have been warned.
