For U.S. Navy SEAL, Bowie “Ruckus” Cooper, going on a mission into the most dangerous place on earth wasn’t new, neither were the orders to tag and bag an international criminal, but when Bowie finds a captive American reporter, that wasn’t exactly run of the mill. Neither was getting separated from his team, teaming up with her or protecting her against all odds, while working to keep his hands … hands from around her neck and off her delectable body.
Fearless and bold photojournalist, Dana Sorenson never backed down from a fight or to showcase her dedication to reporting on the human condition. That’s what she thought until she meets Bowie and big, bad, and tough takes on a whole new meaning. Gratitude for saving her ass gets lost in his demanding orders and fighting for her life takes a back seat to falling for this alpha male who’ll risk everything to see her safe.

Well written interesting story great characters. Unforgettable twists and turns with most of the book Ruckus and reporter battling through the very dangerous jungle.
I didn’t want to stop reading until I got through it. I’m buying the next one in the series.
I did not finish. Did not like very strong language.
Good action romance with real characters. Enjoyable full length stories.
HOT
I enjoyed this book so much that I have bought the all books available in the series to date and am working my way through them. Military Romance. Special Ops.
I liked the story good read
Romantically suspenseful thriller you can’t put down.
Diana a correspondent who traveled all over, just lost her mom to cancer, she was overseas and couldn’t make it home before her mother passed. But her mother emailed, asked her to tell these peoples stories, let the public know what was happening in the Darie’n Gap. A place with dense jungle, dangerous wildlife, impenetrable swamps, wary guerrillas,
all the bad guys you can think of…drug trafficking etc….
Dana and her crew were going in to interview a drug kingpin
And they got permission from Columbian government to do this.
Lt. Ruckus is a Navy Seal and leader of his team and they are on a special opps to go into the Darie’n Gap to snatch the drug kingpin and bring him to America. This is the start…I don’t want to give away too much…fast paced, high octane, explosive. I received this in a book giveaway and I voluntarily leave this review.
I always enjoy reading about Navy SEALS and their relationships.
Good story but was too graphic in places formy taste.
Good book – I would continue reading the series.
I always enjoy a good Navy SEAL story, but this rescue with the incredibly strong female lead was a page turner for me. I would definitely read more books by Zoe Dawson.
Great book
Good read. Funny and romantic.
Dana & Ruckus make a great story….wanted more or their story.
I loved this book!
This is the first time I’ve read a military romance, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The action was fast-paced and the characters likeable. The author made their motivation clear, so their actions seemed believable. There were a few times I thought the author worded things a bit awkwardly and sometimes it wasn’t clear as to who was saying the dialog, but otherwise I enjoyed her writing style. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series and hoping it will engage me as well as this one did. I hope to see more of Ruckus and Dana in the next books as well.
I enjoyed the book, but didn’t like the abrupt ending. It is a stand alone book but it’s a set up for the rest of the series
Nice fast pace
Awesome read. Exciting and not your usual tough guy and woman looking for a hero!
