“Passion, pleasure, and princely responsibilities make this sexy fairy tale a real page turner.” —Audrey Carlan, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Calendar GirlNicholas Arthur Frederick Edward Pembrook, Crowned Prince of Wessco, aka “His Royal Hotness,” is wickedly charming, devastatingly handsome, and unabashedly arrogant―hard not to be when people are constantly bowing down to you. Then, … constantly bowing down to you.
Then, one snowy night in Manhattan, the prince meets a dark haired beauty who doesn’t bow down. Instead, she throws a pie in his face.
Nicholas wants to find out if she tastes as good as her pie, and this heir apparent is used to getting what he wants.
Dating a prince isn’t what waitress Olivia Hammond ever imagined it would be.There’s a disapproving queen, a wildly inappropriate spare heir, relentless paparazzi, and brutal public scrutiny. While they’ve traded in horse drawn carriages for Rolls Royces and haven’t chopped anyone’s head off lately―the royals are far from accepting of this commoner.
But to Olivia―Nicholas is worth it.
Nicholas grew up with the whole world watching, and now Marriage Watch is in full force. In the end, Nicholas has to decide who he is and, more importantly, who he wants to be: a King… or the man who gets to love Olivia forever.

Enjoyed. Better than I expected
Loved it
Bit of a cliffhanger though.
Cute book, I enjoyed it.
First book by Emma Chase and I look forward to reading more! I found this to be an enjoyably well written story! It had natural flow and relatable, likable characters! Enjoyed the steamy parts and was delighted that the story was not just about sex!! Look forward to reading book2!
I read a review of this book that was making comments on the words that the characters said. I was thinking the whole time that this reader was criticizing is that I have friends that would say that and some have. So aside from feeling very sad for this person who would alienate so many due to they way they speak, I was willing to give this book a try.
I am so glad I read this book. The banter was realistic and the characters robust. I love that the insane names that many thrust upon their children were brought to light. I am still laughing my ass of about Bibbity, Bobbity and Boo. God I wish someone would name their triplets that! But there were so many hilarious moments in the story, including Marty and Ellie. Especially when she met the Queen at the end. Amazing stuff.
I do wish that there would have been a bit of fantasy and some outrage so that Nicholas did not have to do what he did for love. But I do see what it has brought to Henry’s life and that is a blessing too.
Great story, great characters and fun to read. Good job on this one Emma Chase.
Emma Chase is a great writer, creating this book with wonderful characters and an enjoyable storyline. I had a hard time putting it down. Looking forward to seeing what the next book holds.
This was one of my favorite romance novels. You will laugh and cry. Truly enjoyed.
Emma Chase got me. I cried. My shameless tear ducts opened up and let loose. But the complete and total blame falls in the shoulders of Emma Chase, or if you must on Emma Chase, Andi Arndt, and Shane East. (They can share it!)
Royally Screwed was the best kind of fun. It was flirty, sexy, and casual. Until it wasn’t. I’ve never imagined the whole prince thing…charming or not, but I could fall faster than ice cream melts in Death Valley. One Wessco prince at a time…
And a rollicking good time was had by all, with the exception, of the, you know, when it all goes to poo because that’s what you get right before the end that’s the catalyst for the ending. Loved the characters – all of them, with their real problems and humanity. On to the next book in the series!
Very princess grace and prince renier of monoco without requiring a queen’s permission. Just goes to show how missed up the British style of monarchy is in one romance novel.
I’m not really disappointed, but not happy either. I don’t even know why I didn’t love it. It was just “meh”.
Still better than Overruled (The Legal Briefs Series Book 1), which is *still* her worst book imo. I’ll leave the 2-star “privilege” to that book. ‘Royally Screwed’ wasn’t *that* bad, thank God.
Can’t wait for Henry and Sarah’s book and maybe… Ellie’s book? The third book’s blurb is very cryptic…
And maybe a novella about Franny and Simon? *winks*
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a quick read that I could not put down. It was sexy, sweet, and just enough conflict to make it all worth it. I totally teared up in a few places. I love these Cinderella type stories because who wouldn’t want to live a fairy tale like this? I’m pretty excited to read the next book!
This is Olivia and Nicholas’s story. Olivia is struggling to keep her Dad’s restaurant open and take care of her family, and she is not all that thrilled to be propositioned by a hot guy one night. Nicholas has been given an order by his grandmother the queen that he has 6 months before he needs to make an engagement announcement to help unite his country. He is in the US trying to get his brother back home, and he is instantly attracted and intrigued by Olivia when he meets her. He starts pursuing her, and she gives in for a summer fling.
Hot Royal and a feisty New Yorker? Yes please! Emma Chase’s writing is fun and flawless. I laughed a lot and cried some , and swooned all the way through.
Highly recommended. Read in one sitting (and sacrificed sleep for it).
Wonderful book!! I absolutely fell in love with this heartwarming amazing book!!
Olivia is such a sweet girl with a backbone of steel when it first comes to Nicholas. Loved that she didn’t let him get away with what he was saying when they first met. Nicholas might be in line to be King one day but he’s a man underneath it all.
I watched these two fall in love and I could feel what they were feeling. I had moments where I was smiling, laughing and reading with tears in my eyes.
With everything that these two go through, with going into it knowing there’s an expiration date should have made it easier but it didn’t. These two *sigh* will make you fall in love, break your heart and hope that they’ll find a way to have it all. What would you do for love? That’s the question that needed to be answered and boy was it ever!!
Can’t wait to read about Henry since I got to know him a little bit in this book.
Read it twice.
I’m finding it hard to put into words how much I loved reading this book. I laughed. I cried. I loved the characters – not only the Hero and Heroine, but the side characters too. I’m trying to think of a criticism, something to detract from my happiness bubble. But all I can come up with is that the next book hasn’t been published yet. My con is that I have to wait. I really can’t do this book justice…you just need to read it yourself. This was my first read by Emma Chase, but I can assure you it will not be the last.
This was my first Emma Chase book and I was hooked immediately! Smart, funny, sexy writing. If I could give this book and the rest of the Royally series a 10+ star I would. I thoroughly enjoyed this one from the beginning. A hot prince, a disapproving queen and the strong, independent women who captures his heart. Emma Chase was meant to write this modern day fairy tale as her writing is smart, funny and sexy as sin. You will laugh, cry and root for their Happily Ever After!
