A fight to the death… Or at least that’s what it feels like when my twin sister and I are pitted against a dozen ruthless Fae females in a competition to marry the Spring Court prince. On live television. If we can survive eight weeks on Royally Hitched, we’ll earn our freedom and a one-way ticket home to the human world. All we have to do is play nice with the mean girls and stuck up ice prince. … is play nice with the mean girls and stuck up ice prince. Oh, did I mention we shouldn’t even be here since we’re not actually Fae? Well, no one knows that—yet.
As girls are eliminated and the competition heats up, things take a lethal turn. Someone wants the prince dead, and we all become targets. When he’s almost killed, unexpected feelings come over me. Panic. Pain. Sadness. The idea of losing him actually hurts.
And what’s worse… my sister feels the same way.
Author’s Note: This series takes place in the world of Azar, along with Hitched and Darkblood Academy. While it’s not necessary to read either of these series first, there may be some spoilers, so be warned 🙂

Great New Series!
This is a great new series that is definitely a page-turner. The story is filled with suspense, intrigue, adventure and lots of romance that will keep you highly entertained and utterly captivated. It ends on a surprising cliffhanger so be ready!
I can’t wait for book 2 in order to find out what happens next!
Prince Drake is moving on from his life at Darkhen Academy and has found a life after his love of Luna. He married the Spring court princess Miranda, but due to her untimely death he is now looking for a new wife. He has agreed to star on Royally Hitched and choose from one of twelve fae, two whom are lesser fae which should help quill unrest in the Spring kingdom. King Seris is tricky one and there are plots and deceptions everywhere. Most of the ladies are downright evil except for twins Arabella and Tempest who have an agenda of their own. There are a few familiar faces from other series that pop in which is nice. The writing is excellent and it will keep you on the edge. I would recommend reading the Academy series first for a fuller experience, but you could read this series and still be ok. I volunteered to read this book.
This was my first book by G. K. DeRosa. Wow! I was blown away by the captivating story. I can’t wait to read all of the other books (before and after this particular book).
I loved the twins from the get go. Arabella’s kind heart and Tempest’s tough girl attitude, they compliment each other. They support and encourage each other and truly have each other’s backs.
Drake – I was drawn to him from the beginning. There is so much more to him than meets the eye. We get to see little insights of him throughout the book, but not too much so there is still some mystery to him.
I enjoyed the story line, the excitement and developing friendships. There was the plotting and backstabbing that would be expected during a dating competition. There was action and adventure and some surprises throughout the book.
I can’t wait to read book 2 to see what happens next. especially with the unexpected twist at the end of this book.
The narrators did a great job throughout the book. Their voices brought the story to life!
This book kept me attached to the kindle like nothing else I’ve read in a while. By far the most intriguing book I’ve read from this author. I can’t wait to get more and find out who will win the heart of the ice prince. Well done!
I was so excited to get back to Drake and find out what’s happening with him. Tempest and Arabella are twins in the competition with a secret. Things in the Royal Court are not all fun and games. Fae nobles are rude, selfish and downright mean. Drake’s highpoint in this show is the fae twins in the competition. They are facing a rebellion, someone’s trying to kill the Prince, the other contestants have no qualms about maiming the others to get on top and the King hates them all. Drake will need to remember all of his training at Darkhen Academy and Tempe and Bella will need to keep their magic at the ready just to survive. Another fantastic series that I am excited to read. I don’t know how I will be able to wait for the next book. I requested an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.
Wow I loved the story and with it continuing I can not wait! GK DeRosa has a great flair in writing these types of stories and keeping you enthralled to the end. A great imagination to bring us the best in fantasy.
This is a brand new series by author G.K. DeRosa and I think it’s even better than Hitched, her previous series. There’s more time to get to know the characters and the scenes aren’t rushed. This story has lots of twists and turns with adventure, intrigue, danger, and romance. It follows the POV of each twin and the prince. Even though the prince wants to stay open minded about his options, I still didn’t like that he passionately kissed one female in the evening and the next morning another. It ends on a surprising cliffhanger! I will definitely want to follow this series to find out what happens next!
Fantastic I love this. The Author has done a fantastic job at bringing the story to fruition. I would love to see this on a movie screen or netflix. This read grabbed me from start to finish, and is a major page turner. With lots of twists and turns. This is more than a 5 star read. Its an Epic read. And I definitely recommend.

Tempest and Arabella are half witch half human but they are glamoured by their warlock father so they can enter the Royally Hitched games. Really enjoyed listening to this it’s the first book from this author and both narrators but I will be listening to more from them all.
An amazing spinoff from another of this authors series, we find a reality show trying to satisfy political power between different courts with a sacrificial Prince as the prize. More of the warlock/presidents children appear to add even more suspense to this tale. Disappearing into this storyline is a breeze and I’m thoroughly enjoying the escape! All my reviews are always voluntarily written.
OMG this series is just excellent! It’s fast paced, exciting, gripping and a little darker then previous series and oh so addictive! Love the storyline, love the characters, love the twists and cannot wait to read the next book!
Frustrating & Heartless!!
*I DNF SO PLEASE IGNORE MY RATING & READ MY REVIEW, PLEASE!*
Royally Hitched: The Fae Prince: (The Dark Fae Series, Book 1)
I enjoyed Prince Drake’s character in ‘The Darken Academy’ series, so I was excited he was going to be a main character in this version of ‘Hitched’!! I wasn’t so happy to learn Garrix was interfering in things, yet again, by using his own children!! Arabella & Tempest are half Witch twins, spelled to look like Fae & sent on the show, undercover, to find out any information they can for their Dad. He’s dangling the promise to go home to Earth permanently, so they can finally see their Mum again!! Neither are prepared for the ruthlessness of the Fae. Attempts are made on their lives within the first week!!
I love this Author’s work & anticipated loving this series too. However after multiple attempts I finally gave up reading it at 70%! I couldn’t connect with Tempest, one of the twins. I didn’t find her fiesty, I found her bolshy, unsympathetic & quite self centred! Arabella was far & away a much easier & kinder character to like & connect with. They aren’t really Fae so if either or both fell for the Prince how would that work? They’d have to be his true ‘fated mates’ some how but with all of the drama, murder plots etc in all the Fae Court’s I just didn’t see that being enough?! Plus they’re identical twins so – Eeww!! And he hates being a Prince & they want to go home to earth!! It all just seemed too much of a stretch for me!! So that’s the point I finally had to pull the plug I’m afraid!!
I hope others connect with it better than I did because, as always, the description & writing is beautiful! I’ll still read other work by her in the future too because I’m pretty sure this is just a one off disconnect, for this series, for me!!

This book is fantastic! The degree of characters and what they are about is fabulous. Prince Drake of the Winter Garden Court was made to pick a wife, his wife had died. A show was being taped to be shown at a later time of the Prince checking out his prospects. The author has the forethought to plant ideas for future books. Great idea, great book.
If you like the Bachelor or Bachelorette you would like this book. Big difference is that Supernatural people exist and the Royal Fae don’t like anyone beneath them. The whole love triangle thing is weird. Unless the Prince is going to end up with both, the story line is annoying who it is going with the twins. Just pick on and don’t string both along. Also the Fae are violent people. There is also an uprising happening. Oh and the book ends on a cliff-hanger.
