Logan St. James is a smoldering, sexy beast. Sure, he can be a little broody at times – but Ellie Hammond’s willing to overlook that. Because, have you seen him??Sexy. As. Hell. And Ellie’s perky enough for both of them. For years, she’s had a crush on the intense, protective royal security guard – but she doesn’t think he ever saw her, not really. To Logan, Ellie was just part of the job – a … just part of the job – a relative of the royal family he’d sworn to protect. Now, at 22 years old and fresh out of college, she’s determined to put aside her X-rated dreams of pat-downs and pillow talk, and find a real life happily ever after.
The Queen of Wessco encourages Ellie to follow in her sister’s footsteps and settle down with a prince of her own. Or a duke, a marquis.. a viscount would also do nicely.
But in the pursuit of a fairy tale ending, Ellie learns that the sweetest crushes can be the hardest to let go.
Logan St. James grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, in a family on the wrong side of the law. But these days, he covers his tattoos and scars with a respectable suit. He’s handsome, loyal, brave, skilled with his hands and… other body parts.
Any woman would be proud to bring him home to her family.
But there’s only one woman he wants.
For years he’s watched over her, protected her, held her hair back when she was sick, taught her how to throw a punch, and spot a liar.
He dreams of her. Would lay down his life for her.
But beautiful Ellie Hammond’s off-limits.
Everybody knows the bodyguard rules:
Never lose focus, never let them out of your sight, and never, ever fall in love.

There are few things I love more than the Royals, but one of them is when Emma Chase writes about her fictional royal family. I ADORE THIS SERIES. It’s funny, sexy, and some of the best world building I’ve seen. I highly recommend Royally Endowed!
I cannot say enough about Emma Chase and her ability to write a steamy romance with heroes that steal my heart – I loved every page of Royally Endowed!
Emma’s stories are always funny and sexy. This one hit all the feels! Highly reccomend!
Such a wonderful book by a fabulous author!
I noted this book as a tearjerker but that was very limited. I enjoyed it very much.
The Royal Bodyguard!

Character development:
The heroine: Ellie Hammond – younger sister to Olivia who married the crown prince of Wessco. When Olivia left for Wessco for the summer, Ellie is left with Logan for a bodyguard/helper at their coffee and pie shop. She is about to graduate from high school and go to college.
The Hero(es): Logan St. James – personal bodyguard/security for the crown prince Nicholas of Wessco. When Nicholas and Olivia return to Wessco for months, Logan is left in charge of the security of Ellie. Logan comes from a family of criminals, but after his stint in the military where he was in Nicholas’s unit. He was hired as security for the royal family.
The Story: Ellie and Logan had eyes for each other since they first met, but Ellie was too young and Logan was in charge of her safety. He watched her as she grew from a teenager to a college graduate and was there for her when she needed a shoulder to lean on.
I liked the story overall but I didn’t like the beginning how there was a few scenes and then nine months passed, a few more and another nine months, then 3 years. I suppose it was necessary because Ellie was in high school when they first met and a more worldly woman when things start to happen.
The narration again was terrific with the same two that did the first two books and both have very pleasant voices. I have been surprised at both of their ability to portray different accents and different types of people. Shane East was terrific as a man from the wrong side of the tracks that has been working with Royalty for years. He had a more working class European accent in some scenes and more refined in other scenes. Andi Arndt was a refined royal in the last book and back to a working class American in this book.
The trope of the bodyguard falling for the woman he is protecting and vice versa is a well used one, though this had the added issue of royalty included. Ellie as a sister to Olivia who is now a princess since her marriage to Nicholas, is now considered part of the royal family along with her sister. So Ellie is able to live at the castle and attend royal gatherings while in Wessco.
My favorite of the trilogy. Loved Logan and Ellie.
May be my favorite book ever
I didn’t like this one as much as the others. It was missing a spark that all the others had. While it was cool to see the story and Logan and Ellie’s relationship build over time, I think the style worked against it in some ways. I didn’t feel the same kind of tension between them as I did between Henry and Sarah or Nicholas and Olivia. It read more like a run-of-the-mill romance and I was a little disappointed.
I love Logan. I think he’s a great character and I’m glad he got his own story. And I’m glad it spins off into other directions, too. He’s the kind of character that deserves that. Ellie felt too young the whole time. I know she IS young but she didn’t seem to grow up much.
I don’t hate that I’ve read this one because it reads so quick but had I known, I probably would have stopped after Royally Matched.
*4 Stars*
Finally got around to reading this one. I’ve been curious for Ellie and Logan since the start. This was quite an easy read and the characters were fun. There were plenty of serious moments, but plenty of fun ones too.
It takes quite a while to build up to Ellie and Logan getting their chance, but its great when they finally do.
I love how we get our favourites back in the form or Ellies sister Olivia, along with Nicholas, Henry, Sarah and the Queen.
An enjoyable read, I really like this world. Would recommend.
I am not typically a person who likes royalty family books. I mean, I loth them!! But I am such an Emma Chase fan that I needed to check out her Royally series. Emma nailed it!! I feel like each book in this could be read as standalone even though all of the characters are intertwined. The fact that I have nothing negative to say about this series mean a lot!!
Here’s the truth about my problem with royal books (in general). I LOVE the royal family in England!! I mean like Kate Middleton is my fashion icon!! So when someone tried to replicate that in a book, I kind of get irritated. But this series was not even like the “real royal life” that I expect. That is why this book was special.
Fantastic gob Emma for changing my mind with this series. You made me fall in love with all of the characters. You created magic for me.

Logan and Ellie FINALLY get together! And even better we get Henry and Sara’s wedding and Nicholas and Olivias babies. I read this in one day and enjoyed all of it. I loved how Nicholas is so down to earth and how he and Logan’s relationship went from employer to friend and how Ellie matured as the story went from her senior year in high school to college graduation to young adult in the work world. There was a good sense of time passing and with that her maturity and Logan’s growing love for her. Nicely done.
This was a great book and a wonderful continuation in this series. I definitely recommend this book, this series, and this author.
Logan St. James was assigned to Ellie Hammond as her bodyguard. During those years he watched over her, protected her, held her hair back when she was sick, taught her how to throw a punch, and spot a liar.
Now 22 years old and fresh out of college, Ellie was determined to put aside the X-rated dreams she had of her bodyguard and find a real life happily ever after. Torn, Logan must choose between his sworn duty to protect the royal family or his love for Ellie. It takes a threat on her life for him to realize he never had a choice at all.
From Nicholas and Olivia to Henry and Sarah and now, Logan and Ellie, Emma Chase weaves an enchanted tale of the lives of the royalty, an almost behind-the-scenes look of what goes on in the lives of queens, princes, and the people they meet.
While not quite the tale of royals seeing as this one tackled Olivia’s sister Ellie, and Logan, the bodyguard assigned to her by the Olivia’s Prince, Nicholas, Royally Endowed–the whole series–is a story I would definitely want to see on screen.
I also would like to thank Emma Chase for reminding me that no matter what station in life, and with a little help from faith and hope, love will always find a way to bring two people together for their very own happily ever after.

Review:
What a fun story!!! I love when stories are able to focus on a couple while also giving us glimpses into the previous book’s couples. It was so nice to hear about how the others were doing and us seeing their relationships progress. GAHHH I loved this book.
You may be wondering why I gave this 4.5 stars. The truth is….Ellie annoyed me at times. I know, I’m so sorry!!! She grew on me don’t worry!! It’s just we practically saw her grow up in front of our eyes. I think the book started with her as 17 and by the end, I’d say she was 25. (Unless I didn’t calculate that correctly, which is a definite possibility) Sometimes Ellie would act very immature, even when she was older and out of High School. She would whine and do certain things that just drove me nuts. BUT as I said, she grew on me and I loved her by the end of the story.
Logan on the other hand was a favorite from the get go. I had such a huge crush on him. He may even beat Henry for my favorite of the series. His protectiveness and that swagger just did it for me. Did I mention his nickname was Lo?! *swoons* I don’t know why but I thought that was the cutest nickname lol!! I also appreciated Logan’s personality. How devoted and committed he was. He would do anything for the royals and it clearly showed.
This book was a slow burn since we started out with Ellie being quite young. I’m usually not a fan of slow burns but this one worked well for me. The romance was SO worth the wait between these two!!! I loved watching their story unfold and I had so many warm fuzzy feelings whilst reading this.
Overall, I didn’t quite love book one so if you didn’t as well, keep going!! Books two and three blew me away. This series now holds a special place to me. I highly recommend giving it a try
I love how Emma writes slow burn romance. You can feelcharacters emotions through every book, just like in this one. It was amazing. Logan was such a protective hero. I loved how loyal he was and I admired his determination. And Ellie. She was such a down-to-earth heroine. She was sweet, gentle, loving, caring.
I`m really glad they got their happily ever after <3
I’ve been devouring this series like candy! Royally Endowed is yet another great addition to the Royally series. This book has made me love the whole falling for the bodyguard trope, is it even considered a trope? I don’t know, but I’m all for it. And top with a bit of a slow-burn, you got my favorite kind of books down, perfectly.
Ahhhh, Logan & Ellie! The pacing of their storyline was absolutely perfecting stemming from when she was a young girl to adulthood. I was a bit nervous about the age difference and how Emma was going work that in, but my goodness, my doubts were put to shame. From going to a crush to something infinitely more.
I know it was Logan’s job to always protect Ellie and he took his job seriously, but you really see the change from when just looking after her became something much more than his job. I absolutely loved seeing his protection and feelings grow for Ellie as she got older. I really enjoyed his little bouts of jealousy. But my goodness it was killing to see these two do nothing about it. And I was a bit surprised with the doubts that Logan had because it didn’t match his persona at all, but he has his insecurities and will always think he’s not good enough for Ellie.
But that’s the thing about Ellie, she’s not one to see status and has always looked at Logan as her equal. And even though this was part of a royal series, I loved that they weren’t exactly royals themselves, but their story fit perfectly into this series. Happy ever afters for EVERYONE!
Yeah I’ll be honest, every book from this series has been a fave, so it’s pretty clear that this is my absolute favorite royal series. Be prepared to completely fall in love with Ellie and Logan’s story!
Emma Chase
another fantastic installment to this series. Gahhh! Yes! Couldn’t wait for this one in the Royally series. Loved this book! Logan is deep, dark and sexy with a heart of gold! If you are looking for a slow burn romance with a bit of a dark side, then this one is for you!
I had owned the paperback of this for awhile, but then decided to try the audiobook. Unfortunately the male narrator was the same as who does Hardin on the After series audiobooks, I think, and so I had trouble hearing him as this character. So even though I started listening in April, I didn’t get around to picking up the paperback to finish it until September. Once I did that, though, it was a very quick read. While it was interesting to see how Ellie and Logan got together finally, their romance a very edgy and drawn out one, probably just a little lacked due to not having any true royalty as a part of them. But not enough to be truly disappointing or make the story not good. Logan had a background that was dark and led into so many twisting points in the story. And it was great to have the two of them with their own types of connections to our other characters from the first two books so that we could still get our fill of the royals. Good, even if not my favorite of the bunch. Also, I posted my review of the 4th book earlier this week, had a deadline thanks to a review tour, but if you read that review, you’ll understand it didn’t matter to read out of order, even though I didn’t.
Great read
