Charming and sweet. This book played out like a Hallmark movie in my mind.
The only thing Greyson wanted was to be like other men. He was tired of the royal lifestyle. He didn’t want to become king of Aldora. So, he picked up and moved to America where no one would know who he was. He settled in Savannah, Georgia, where he became a construction worker.
Scarlett was a true southern belle, right down to her high society family who wanted her to marry in their circle of friends. Scarlett didn’t want any of it. She wanted to live her life and didn’t care if that life had a man in it or not. But, when she meets Greyson, everything changes. He was definitely not the kind of man her mother would approve of, but he was a good man, and that’s what Scarlett wanted. When Greyson reveals his true identity, Scarlett is blown away. She accompanies Greyson back to Aldora to meet his family over the Christmas holiday and everything seems to be perfect. But, is it really?
I just wanted to crawl into the pages of this book and live. It was that good. The characters felt like people I could be friends with and the descriptions of the castle and the Aldora countryside blew me away. I hope there will be another book following this one because I am already ready to go back to the castle. This is a sweet, clean romance that anyone who loves a good fairy tale will enjoy.
Way to prim and proper for me. There is no real challenge in this story everything is a little on the plus side of things.

Scarlett is a Southern Belle from Georgia with a kind heart. When Scarlett and Greyson meet the attraction and chemistry if off the charts. I loved the humorous wit and romance between these two. Royally Abandoned is filled with a secret, heartache, trust, healing, chemistry, and love. Readers will loved this captivating must read from Sarah Fischer. What happens if you are born a royal but you don’t want to be king? That is just the predicament that Greyson the Crown Prince of Aldora has gotten himself into to. So he decides to leave his small island home off the coast of England and head to Savannah, Georgia to lead the life of a commoner. Greyson meets Scarlett by accident, literally and lets say the chemistry is out of this world. Since he is only there for a month for sure until he heads back home to make his decision if he is going to give up the throne, he keeps his royalty a secret. He takes Scarlett home for the holidays and things might not ever be the same again, This book reads like a wonderful Hallmark movie. It had smooth rhythm and flow for me and was the perfect start to my holiday season reads.
Royally Abandoned is a fun, sweet romance. A prince that wants to escape is royal reality, a Southern belle that makes the decision that much harder to return. Greyson and Scarlett’s romance is sweet romance that is over much too soon.
Amazing & beautiful love story. This is the first book I’ve read by this author & definately won’t be the last. It’s such a sweet wonderful love story both Scarlett & Greyson had so much in common including impossible mothers. I was desperate to know whether they got their happy ever after whether as King & Queen or as normal everyday people as long as they were together.

What a romantic story! Greyson is a prince, but wants to be an ordinary guy. He takes an opportunity to to America to do just that. Scarlett’s family wants her to marry within their “social station”, but she has a mind of her own. These characters are so sweet together, maybe because they’re both looking for the same things – a chance to be themselves, find their own way, and let their hearts lead them to true love.

This is the sweet romance of Scarlett and Greyson. He is a royal getting to see how commoners live and Scarlett is a southern belle living in Georgia. These two are so good together. I enjoyed their story from start to finish. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the first time I’ve read a book by this author, and i really enjoyed vit. The characters, Greyson and Scarlett, are interrsting, well developed, and have chemistry. The story is interesting, well written, with a happily ever after. In adition to receiving an arc, i purchased the book for my collection.
Greyson wanted to be loved for himself, not for his family’s status and money, so he gave up being a royal prince and future king to be a carpenter in Savannah where he met southern belle whose family came from money so she could spend her days with charity work Scarlett. I loved Scarlett’s rescue dog Blitz and that Greyson was an artist with wood. Her friend Betsy was a riot and deserves her own romance.
If you’re looking for a cute holiday read then this book is it. This book was not what I was expecting but none the less cute if you’re into holiday and or royal romances.
