From award-winning author Tara Wyatt comes a contemporary standalone royal romance that might just make you believe in love at first sight.Princess Audrey of Clervaux is on a humanitarian trip to Ndola, a small country in southeast Africa. Royal Treatment – has so many emotions within a short period. It’s amazing.
I love these two characters
Princess Audrey, is more than her title. She might be 25, but she is mature & has an old soul. She has causes, goals, fears. She is more than a pretty face wearing a tiara. I appreciated their gentleness, kindness, love protection that SAS Lieutenant Cullum MacLeod, gave to his princess was.
What I appreciated was how they expressed all emotions a couple goes thru when leaving a loved one for unselfish reasons, doing the most honorable sacrifice. in this story. Love, loyalty, heartbreak. agony, honesty. I could feel the agony that these characters were facing.
To describe the torment, trauma that solders go thru to serve & protect for our freedoms.
The intimate scenes were just that… intimate. From a touching first time experience for Audrey & how Cullen was so gentle, loving, & beautiful & making her feel her pleasures before his own. Audrey expressing her gratitude for making it first time special.
The second scene was raw, primal adrenalin from the survival from their near escape. Releasing their need to passion due to the fear of death. Getting to know about each other, like, hobbies, family etc.
I could really feel what these two characters were going through.

A well written, short, and sweet forbidden romance. There is drama, suspense, insta-love, and lots of excitement. The characters are complete opposite but still perfect for each other and the chemistry between them is off the charts. It is a heartwarming read and is strongly recommended.

She’s a princess, he’s her bodyguard
Callum Macleod is 34, a Scottish soldier turned bodyguard. He’s brought in to protect Princess Audrey of Clervaux for a symposium. She’s a 24 yo VCard.
They both want something real and find it (along with steamy times) in a matter of days. Then he has to save her and then promptly breaks her heart by sending her away.
Filled with many tropes, a bit more formulated, still sweet and charming.

I can not say that the overall idea of the storyline was new, BUT I genuinely enjoyed the little twists that Wyatt put into her version to keep it different and keep it moving! I fell in love with the lead characters immediately. They were gentile, genuine, honest, responsible people who showed compassion for others (even if not so much for themselves). Callum was a protection officer who hated what he had become after joining the service to help others. Audrey was a humanitarian princess attending a summit to speak.they connected on a human and emotional level before they did a physical one (although they had noticed the physical right off too). When the summit gets over-run by rebels, and Callum gets reassigned because of Aubrey’s attendant ‘told’ on her, is there even anything left to fight for?

Princess Audrey is on humanitarian trip to Ndola, when she lands there she meets her bodyguard, very sexy bodyguard. Callum was hired as a bodyguard for princess during her trip to Africa, when he sees her first time, he feels instant attraction, too bad she is a princess and a client. After spendind time together, they can’t and don’t want to stop that attraction. Will he be able to save her when rebels attack?
Great story, loved Audrey and Callum.
