Her Brothers decide to get her out of the country to find a way around the law, or to get the law abolished. Kannon owns a security company. Someone runs London off the road and Kannon rescues her. Roman hires Kannon Security to guard her. They spend time together, start a romantic relationship. Sparrow, who works for Kannon is injured, London is kidnapped. They find her at the airport, Kannon is injured protecting her. He pushes her away, she goes home to Alden, he goes home to Los Angeles. Her brothers go to LA, to talk to Kannon. Kannon goes back to Alden with the brothers, to talk to London. They find out they are expecting so they share the news with her brothers. Roman got the law abolished, but he had to give something up. He doesn’t say what, and we don’t find out in this book.
The epilogue is Sparrow going to her room at the palace to find Breck in her bed with 2 women.
There is a bonus epilogue at the end of the book.
Up next is Enemy Heir.

I loved book one Royal Line in the Tattered Royals. London is the princess of Alden and does want to be, she would rather be traveling and taken photographs as her mother did. Kannon is a security consultation with a tortured soul over his wife and the unborn baby he could not save. After finishing a job he comes across a car that has been run off the road, where he meets London and rescue her from down a ravine. Someone comes back to finish the job but Kannon saves her. They are like oil and water with attraction mixed in there which makes them good for each other. They both end up falling for each other and I think they balance each other out. I can wait to read the next book. I could not put this book down with London feistiness and Kannon’s hard exterior, then you mix in there her three growling brothers to bringing it all together.
I enjoyed this book, London and Kannon had so much chemistry and their witty banter was refreshing. They both had feelings of inadequacy and regrets. They both displayed behaviours that they think are protecting each other ; but in turn they were hurting each other
”Regrets are for those who forget to live.”
I can not wait to read the rest of this series.

Carrie Ann Ryan and Nana Malone have joined together and the result is spectacular! London and Kannon have incredible chemistry as they each battle their own demons while trying to find out who is out to kill her. Sparrow and Rian have potential for future stories… perhaps with Breck and Roman? Can’t wait to see what comes next for these royals and security specialists!!
Royal Line is the first book in the Tattered Royals series by Carrie Ann Ryan and Nana Malone. In this book, we meet the Waterfords siblings who are the royal family of Alden. The oldest brother comes into the crown at a very young age after the death of their parents. The family consists of the King, the techie, the playboy and the precious baby sister. London wants to be her own person, but grew up with duty first. On the evening of London’s 29th birthday, the family finds out about an archaic law that requires one of the siblings to produce an heir before the youngest, London turns 30. None of the siblings want London to be forced into a loveless marriage, so they send her away.
When London finds herself in trouble, she is rescued by Kannon Adams. Kannon owns a security company and many skeletons in his closet that almost ruin the relationship before it can get off the ground. There is romance, suspense, great characters, a plot twist and a HEA. What more could you ask for….
Royal Line reeled me in right from the start. I was pleasantly surprised by the characters and their personalities. Sometimes storylines with royal characters throw me off, and I find them hard to get into or hard to relate to, but that’s not the case with this book.
London is tough cookie! She’s tired of being shoved into a box and told to stay there. She yearns for so much more. I can relate to London on so many levels. Kannon is an alpha male, with an endearingly vulnerable side.
This book was very fast paced and entertaining. The characters have magnetic chemistry and a palpable connection from the beginning. Part of the storyline was a tad predictable, but I still really enjoyed this book. I’m excited to see what London’s brothers, the princes and the king, get up to in their books.
*I received an ARC of Royal Line in exchange for an honest review.
Royal Line is the first book in the Tattered Royals series by Carrie Ann Ryan and Nana Malone and it sets the bar for the rest.
The night Kannon Adams rescues Princess London Waterford of Alden changes everything for them both. Talk about wrong place at the right time! And boy do the sparks fly between Kannon and London.
I had such fun reading London and Kannon’s story. Getting to know them, watching them as they completely fell in love. And had to fight for their love—oh, and to stay alive too.
Royal Line is the perfect balance between romantic suspense and delicious, sexy, fun, smart romance. And getting to see the interactions between the rest of the royal siblings and how much they love and protect each other—even under the most dire of circumstances. I can’t wait to read what’s next in Enemy Heir. ~Missy, 4 stars
Royal Line is just awesome. I could not believe the storyline. This is such a great new series. Nana and Carrie have done an amazing job of meshing their writing styles together to make this book such a great start to the new series.
London is royalty and just wants to live her own life. She has her own hopes and dreams, but she also has some very overprotective brothers who love and look after her. Her parents are dead so her brothers are the ones to keep her safe. All seems to be going as well as it can, well except that London wants to go on a big adventure but is told no, and then things happen and she is sent on a big adventure anyway. That is where she meets up with Kannon. He is tasked with saving her life. The question is, can he do it?
Well if you want to know if he can save her life, you will have to get the book and read it to find out. All I can say is that this is another amazing book from Nana.
I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. Princess London Waterford of Alden finds herself on the run after an obscure law comes to light shortly after her 29th birthday. London’s older brothers, Roman, the King of Alden, Wilder and Breck and Aunt Rebecca are her only family. London had hopes of following her mother’s dream to become a professional photographer. While on the run, London is rescued by Kannon Adams who is the head of a security company.
Kannon and Princess London have a tangible connection from the start and after getting gunned down, he has vowed to keep her safe until she can go back to Alden. Both have built walls around their hearts to protect themselves and in Kannon’s case the people around him. Nothing can keep them away from the strong pull they have to each other.
This book will pull you in. Readers will be engulfed by this fast-paced story. Readers will not be able to put it down. It is a pretty fast read despite how robust the storyline is. I can’t wait to read more about this Royal family.

You don’t want to miss this great read! I can’t wait to read more in this series about the other brothers! u2063
On the run eh? They will also have us doing the same along with them. I also like that this is a stand alone but part of a series. This princess feels the need to save herself. There seems to be danger though. There also seems to be Kannon whom is dangerous in different ways. He is her security and the pair have to see who is doing what without getting plugged in the time being. You would think the heat alone would keep them safe lol, but turn the pages to see where they take us.
Rating: 4.5 Stars
London wants to be somewhere else. Her family lives for honor and duty. Kannon is the man you want on the job when trouble lies ahead. He doesn’t work alone but he does stand out.
This was a great introduction to this writing duo. I’ve read works by each author and this story made it seem like they’ve been doing this for a long time. I have no idea about their writing process but had a fun time reading the final product. They are taking us on an adventure that just happens to have some suspense and a little bit of mystery. The main characters seem to be fighting some invisible tension and getting to read this in the first person helps us to listen to their thoughts on the matter.
I could almost hear Kannon grumbling from time to time. It gave me a few good chuckle moments. There were times that London impressed me with how composed she was. They make a good team or is it a case of follow the leader. It was fun to picture everything as it played out – could even picture some eye rolls and maybe even a red cheek or two. I even think my glasses steamed up a time or two.
You get so lost in the story that you don’t think about who wrote what. You concentrate on the scenes and how it’s going to affect the characters as well as getting us ready for our climax. Just don’t be in a rush to get this story in. This is one that you want to relax with and enjoy what’s going on. If you’re someone that likes to read while watching the television, I think you’ll find that this will win out. Especially with the type of ending our authors have graciously teased us with.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
Okay so these two authors are brand new to me and I am a huge sucker for Royals and Bodyguards!!! Yes signed me up right now!! Kannon and London have this off the charts chemistry and the push pull along with their sexual tension and build up is completely explosive! There is plenty of drama suspense and mystery that goes on throughout the entire story to keep you on the edge of your seat and keep you guessing until the end. I really enjoyed meeting all of the secondary characters including London’s brothers and I am seriously looking forward to all of their stories!! I will definitely be reading more from these authors!
I really enjoyed this book. Great characters and I can’t wait to read more in this series. London is a Princess and someone is out to harm her. Kannon finds her in need of help and he just happens to own his own security business. Their chemistry is off the charts but can their be more, he is broken and she lives a totally different lifestyle.
London was born a royal but wants to actually make a difference. Her way to do that is photography but when things start happening she needs protection. Kannon has been doing security for years but London is something he never expected. There’s a definite attraction but will either take a chance!
I thoroughly enjoyed London and Kannon’s bodyguard and the princess story! The suspense really kept the story moving as well as forcing two completely opposite personalities together…which is the real treat.
Ryan and Malone are two of my favorite authors, but I always wonder how collaboration books will turn out. No need to worry, they did a fantastic job with characters, overall storyline and dialogue. The ending seemed to end a bit abruptly, but nothing that affected my enjoyment of the book.
I can’t wait to read the next book!
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
I never asked for my tiara. My dreams were always bigger than a palace. They’re as big as the world. Being fourth in line for the throne should have guaranteed me freedom. This is the story of London and Kannon. They have quiet the story to tell too. London is fourth in line for the throne and she has always been very happy to no have to worry about becoming the queen. But as fate would have it, London and her brothers find out about a law that could make them lose the throne. The only choice they have is for London to go into hiding until they can find a backup plan. This leads to her meeting Kannon. Oh what a meeting it is and I so knew that the sparks would soon being flying between these two. However he is not the easiest person in the world to get to know. But that doesn’t stop London from getting under his skin. I loved these to characters who were facing some serious danger as they got to know each other. I loved how Kannon was determined to protect London and how she was just a great female character all the way around. There is danger, twists and turns and this book will have you hooked form the first chapter to the very end. This is the first book in the Tattered Royals but don’t worry about a cliffhanger, there isn’t one. Each of the books in this series is suppose to be a standalone and I sure can’t wait to get the next on in my hands.
Since I enjoy both authors I was excited to read this collab. After reading it… I’m ALL IN on this series.
London is a kick-ass Princess and Kannon, while not quite a Prince, could be. The sarcastic and witty dialogue really moved the story along. I was already half way through the book without realizing it.
The story is entertaining and the secondary characters are a story of their own. You get hints of what may be down the line and it keeps you engaged.
Great start to what I anticipate as a must read series.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book.
This is the first book in the Tattered Totals series. The group of 4 siblings learn of n archaic rule in which if there is no heirs by the time the youngest in the current line turns 30, that line loses the throne. The youngest London just turned 29 so they are in a race to have an heir or change the law. London flees while her brothers work to change the law. London has an accident and Kannon comes to her rescue. London and Kannon have instant chemistry and trouble followed London so Kannon and his team have to work to figure out the threat. I loved this story except the default that London world be the one to provide the heir. Her 3 older brothers were just as callable to step up. Great start to a new series.
This book is about London Waterford and Kannon Adams. I love the internal conflicts between London and Kannon. They both have undeniable chemistry but also is “duty-bound” to country and job, respectively. They realized how much they are missing without each other, and readers will keep hoping that their one-night encounter goes more than just one. They both needed so much control to “stay away” from each other, but it always backfires – funny and cute all the same time. It’s a page turning, heart thumping, mysterious read. It’s told in different points of view, no cheating and is the first book in a series. I highly recommend it.
