A princess on the run finds her version of a prince in this epic beginning to the Tattered Royals stand-alone series. I never asked for my tiara. My dreams were always bigger than a palace. I refuse to marry a Duke and bear an heir to save our titles.
I trust my brothers to find a way to save my future, but first I need to save myself.
Only I never expected to meet danger…and Kannon Adams along the way.
I never asked for her.
My security business has secured all the clueless princess types I can handle.
Princess London Waterford of Alden is a whole other level of trouble.
Not to mention gorgeous and tempting as royal sin. Too bad she’s also in danger.
When the bullets fly, I trust no one else to protect her, even if she pushes me away.
Together, we must find who’s behind the threat to her life and try not to get caught in the crossfire.
One night together might never be enough, but if those who want her dead have a say, it’ll be our last.

eally enjoyed this book. I have not read these authors before so had no pre-conceived ideas about what might happen. The story line was unusual and really off on a tangent to what you expect when it comes to Royal Familys and how the line of succession is followed. With time running out, London, The Princess of Alden is sent away whilst her brothers try and work around the current rules.
Kannon is a bodyguard, who saves London when she is run off the road. But, with London’s life still in danger, Kannon is hired as her bodyguard. Let the real fun begin, the chemistry between them is palpable, but Kannon has ghosts in his pastr which he just can’t let go of. There’s a few on again off again moments and some twists you wont see coming. I’m looking forward to reading more of this series.
Princess London Waterford of Alden is the fourth in line to the throne. London dreams of living her life her own way with her photography. London is forced to flee when an old law threatens the throne and London’s freedom. While on the run, London hopes her brothers will find a way to change the law. Kannon is in France finishing up an assignment with his security company when he comes across London in need of help after her car is forced off the road into a ditch. When bullets fly, Kannon wants answers to why someone wants kill London. Can Kannon keep London safe and find out who is out to hurt London? Can Kannon open up his heart to his feelings for London? Can Kannon overcome his fears and embrace a future with London? Will London walk away when Kannon pushes her away? Will Kannon’s actions put London in harms way? Will London recover when the person behind the plot to hurt her is someone she never suspected? I loved Royal Line by Carrie Ann Ryan and Nana Malone. Kannon and London’s are a great couple with amazing chemistry. Royal Line has action, drama, danger, romance, and a happily ever after. I would highly recommend getting Royal Line by Carrie Ann Ryan and Nana Malone. Can’t wait to read the next book in the Tattered Royals serices. I received an ARC copy of this book, and I am leaving my honest review.
A great start to a new royal series. The royalty of Alden…one king, two princes, one princess plus several archaic laws. One has Princess London in hiding and on the run from a killer. Lucky girl, her savior turns out to be a hunky security expert. Kannon is a growly protector with a pretty face, hot body and some baggage. The attraction between London and Kannon is instant and turns hot fast. Kannon and his team are working hard to uncover the people behind the plot against the kingdom and the princess. He assembled a group of outstanding soldiers that I expected will make appearances in future stories. The romance was kind of insta for me but by the end I was in love with this pair. The mystery was good with just a few hints as to the culprit when the danger ramps up. The surprise not surprise at the end was a cute element that saved the day. I loved the epilogue with the naughty prince and the beautiful bodyguard. Looks like fun to come. A quick, easy read with a royal plot, mystery villain and a sexy romance. I look forward to the next installment in this royal series. 3.5 stars
What a great story. Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. What an emotional and beautiful love story for London and Kannon. Can you really fall in love with someone after only a few days. Did fate bring them together when he rescued her after her car went over the cliff. Someone obviously had tried to kill her and he was determined to protect her. He had no idea who she was but knew that he had to protect her. He suffered from major guilt from not being able to save his pregnant wife Phoebe. He was afraid to love again because he felt that he brought harm to people he tried to protect. When he found out that London was really a Princess he pushed her away even more. But something kept bring them back together. This is definitely a romantic suspense with lots of danger, attempted murder, betrayal by a beloved family member and so much more. London was a special person who still suffered guilt from her parents death and only wanted to be loved. This book will take you on an emotional roller coaster. And Kannon has a hard time gripping with his feelings. He runs hot and cold like water and to say he’s grumpy is an understatement. A well written book with amazing characters and a page turning story line. I read a free advance copy via the author and voluntarily chose to review it.
Loved it great start to a new series can’t wait for more!!
London is a princess and 4th in line for the throne. Her oldest brother Roman is king and has been since their parents death. London is the youngest and has just turned 29. On the eve of her birthday her Aunt Rebecca informs them of an arcane rule that says if there is no heir by the time the youngest is 30 they will lose their position. To protect London from unwanted advances her brothers agree to have her leave the country. She makes the decision to go to Paris to be at Rian’s house.
Kannon is a man who has lost so much but tries to protect those who he is hired to protect. He owns and operates his own private security company. He meets London when he spots her car off the road. After saving her and getting her safely into his car, another car comes along and starts shooting at them.
Kannon is doing everything he can to protect London but he isn’t so good at protecting his heart.
Love London and Kannon’s story and how they met. Their chemistry is off the charts. Their ending is beautiful.
Royal Line is the best of two great authors, Nana Malone and Carrie Ann Ryan, and the start to what will be a great series, Tattered Lines.
In this bodyguard romance, someone is out for Princess London, and hiding in Paris only makes her a bigger target. Lucky for London, Kannon of Kannon Security is just finishing up a primadonna babysitting job when he happens upon her, but can he keep her safe?
Easy read that is an action-packed and passion-fueled romance.
I read an ARC of Royal Line and willingly left this honest review.
This was a different type of story than what I usually read and I wasn’t sure I was going to like it, but I loved it. I can’t wait to read more about this Royal Family!!
Nana Malone and Carrie Ann Ryan…writing together….YES! A little royal romantic suspense…double yes!
I liked London a whole lot. She was more than the princess persona everyone made her out to be. She was kind and compassionate. Adventurous and bold. And even though it wasn’t what she wanted to do, she listened when her brothers put a plan into motion to keep her from being the fall guy for something out of their control. Which is exactly how she meets Kannon.
I’m not going to lie, my feelings on Kannon went back and forth the whole book. He took broody to a whole new level and was so hot and cold towards London. Unnecessarily so. Yes, he had loved and lost in a big way and was still stuck in the guilt of it, but his fear was no excuse for the way he treated London.
But when the danger hits level ten, all bets are off. Kannon pulled out all the stops to find London and ensure her safety. And when the mask was lifted and all was revealed as to who was behind the attempt on her life, it was shocker city (though I had a feeling it was this person early on).
Royal line was dangerous and witty, steamy and twisty. I especially enjoyed London’s brothers giving Kannon the third degree. This quasi enemies-to-lovers romance was a good setup for what I’m sure is going to be a fun series.
Although London may be a princess being that she was the youngest with three older brothers who would inherit before her she always thought she could follow her dreams. She is not happy when she learns her fate, and neither are her brothers so they arrange for her disappear for a while until they get everything handled but she never expected that it would place her life in jeopardy.
Kannon owns his own security company, but he never expected that his first meeting with London would be when he came to her rescue and he isn’t about to let her face the situation on her own. As the chemistry between them escalates so does the danger but will they be able to find out who is behind the attacks to ensure their next attempt isn’t successful?
Humorous interactions, romance and intrigue as not only do the characters of Kannon and London draw us in, but the secondary characters enhance the story as well and leave us wanting more of this family and this series.
I loved this!!!! This is the first of the Tattered Royals Series by Carrie Ann Ryan and Nana Malone and OMGOSH… I love them both in their owns lines but bring them together and Magic Happens!!! This story has it all, Friendship, Romance, suspense and everything in between. The Royals of Alden learn that if the London the Princess isn’t married by her 30th birthday they could lose their throne. Her brothers think it’s best to send her away and hide away till they find a way around the law. They send her to spend time out in the country with the friend but on the way there is an accident when she happens to meet Kannon who is there to rescue her. Through more twists and turns she finds out someone is out to hurt her and and take the throne. It’s a must read!! Can’t wait for the next in the series. I received the book for an honest review! I totally Love the new series!!!!!
This is a brand new series by the authors. It features London who is the princess of Alden and she falls fourth in line to the throne meaning that she only attends a few events and ribbon ceremonies. Which gives her more freedom to do other things which plays out perfectly for her except when it comes to her career of being a photo journalist. Unfortunately being royal means not everything goes as one would wish.
Overall, this is a suspenseful, sexy, romantic read that others will enjoy reading. It’s not too long and can be read in one sitting if you wish too.
I don’t usually like romances with royalty BUT I loved this one. London and Kannon made me fall in love with this book. They were such well written characters who I became really invested in. I also loved the secondary characters in this book. I could see each one getting their own story..
Fanfreakingtastic!!! I devoured every single word of this book. The story was so much fun to read. It had intrigue, danger, kick ass women, sexy men, family, loyalty, and of course hot sex so what’s there not to love. Carrie Ann and Nana are magical together and I am so excited about what’s to come from them. I have always been a fan of Nana and I’m being to get to know Carrie Ann. Until next time y’all happy reading.
Royal Line is the first book in the Tattered Royals series by Carrie Ann Ryan and Nana Malone and I have to say I quite enjoyed it. Prior to reading it I thought a princess??? Really??? There was no way I was going to relate to London Waterford, Princess of Alden. BUT this story surprised me…there was action and suspense…a definite page turner. London is a strong, intelligent woman that knows what she wants and is trying to achieve her goals. Enter Kannon Adams, handsome, sexy with a tormented soul. They come together and combustion. Loved it and I can’t wait for the next book Enemy Heir
Royal Line is the first in the new series collaboration Tattered Royals between Carrie Ann Ryan and Nana Malone. Ms. Ryan is one of my all-time favorites but admittedly, this is the first I’ve heard of Nana Malone. I’ll certainly be checking out what more Ms. Malone has to offer as well now. This was a very enjoyable story with great characters, plenty of adventure, lots of steam and some unexpected twists and turns. I loved London’s brothers and Kannon’s teammates. Can’t wait to read more about them.
3.5
This was a great introduction to what I can imagine is going to be one crazy series. Carrie Ann Ryan and Nana Malone did a great job at making you fall in love with the whole cast. If the series wasn’t already planned I’d want more. I liked the family dynamics between London and her brothers. I do enjoy a good instalust but for some reason I just didn’t believe in it between London and Kannon. However, their story had some hotness to it and I’d still read all the brothers stories that are coming. That epilogue left me wanting more.
Princesses have dreams too. London – crown princess of Alden is independent, stubborn and wants to do important meaningful things. Make a difference. As London finds out sometimes you have to take a different route to your adventures. Circumstances cause her to flee her home and she meets Kannon. He owns a private security company. He has had his fill of spoiled society daughters but London needs his help. He is still dealing with his tragic loss. He is possessive and caring. He will protect his princess at all costs.
The first book in the series is fast paced filled with suspense and romance. The coming stories of the brothers builds anticipation.
