The characters are really great and so is the plot and premise of this book. Nora and Anderson are really great characters. I love them both. I love their chemistry and their adventure together, their sexual tension…all really great! The writing for the most part was really good and kept me entertained. So why the 3 star review? Well, for me there was to much “fluff”, to much filler and unnecessary detail in certain areas. I’m not saying I want a book with zero detail and build up, but in this case, after the 53% mark, the book could have ended in the next 20%. All the stuff that happened could have be wrapped up and done much quicker. I felt like the author was trying to make this book longer than necessary. I still would recommend the book, just for me it was to much blah blah.
Nora finally goes on a solo road trip, one she has been procrastinating from taking! She meets a gorgeous man not once, not twice but three times. Nora doesn’t know what to make of it! Take a ride, literally, on this wonderful story! Nora learns things about herself and about her mystery man Anderson!
This is the 4th book in the Dating Games series and about the last of the four best friends, Nora. We have seen her in the other books, but had no idea of the tragedy in her past. She is just divorced from a man she married for all the wrong reasons, and her friends convince her to take a road trip down Rt 66 that is long overdue.
Nora meets Anderson in a Chicago diner at the start of her road trip. Anderson has reasons for losing himself in the countryside and decides to drive Rt 66 after meeting Nora. They share an instant connection and keep serendipitously running into each other. After Nora’s car breaks down, they end up traveling together in Anderson’s jeep.
This book will both devastate you and make you laugh. I loved Anderson so much and felt so much for his heartache. I wanted to hug Nora and cuddle with her, tell her how unbelievably strong she was. These two just needed a break and were so perfect for each other. The chemistry they had was so freaking hot, and with him being a prince to boot!
But if course, there are twists and turns that come down the road, and I sure didn’t see one of them! I got blindsided as did both of our MCs! Man, all the feels!! Ms Leigh knows how to do it! Nora and Anderson are my new favorite couple, and we get a second book of Nora learning how to be a Royal Princess and Anderson dealing with his life. I don’t need to flip a penny to see if I’ll read it!!
Wow! I’ve been waiting for Nora’s story and it didn’t disappoint. Her story was fun, an emotional ride, learning to put yourself out there again. Anderson and Nora were hilarious, the banter between them and Nora with the girls was just amazing. Trying to move forward and letting go of the past is never easy, but when you continuously run into the really hot stranger it must be fate. Both have troubled pasts that they are working on resolving, and together they might be able to move forward. The chemistry between them is off the charts, sparks everywhere. Spending so much time together is making it harder to resist the feelings that are bubbling to the surface, how do they reconcile this new relationship together? Will Anderson really be Nora’s prince charming? Such a great read, no spoilers, this is a must read in my book! I received a copy of this book.
Royal games it’s filled with hurt, betrayed and angst. You will go on emotional roller coaster with Nora and Anderson in journey. I fell in love with Nora and Anderson their journey towards their happily ever after. Nora and Anderson meet by fate while traveling across Route 66. Nora was planning to scatter the ashes of her ex-finance along Route 66. Anderson had just received some devastating news. He was traveling to help him to accept his fate. Nora and Anderson meet in diner and they kept running into each other. So they decided to do the trip together. In end they helping each other more than they could imagine. This book was so amazing I can’t wait more of Nora and Anderson story.
This was such a wonderful love story. I enjoyed it very much. The storyline was spot on and was well executed. I recommend it.

Some books entertain you, some make you cry, some make you think, some stay with you long after you finish… and the rare few do all these things. Royal Games is one of those rare few. The 4th in the Dating Games series, each story is standalone so you don’t need to read the others first before this one, though I do suggest books 1-3 as they are just that good.
Nora is going on an adventure, one she has long put off because of the pain that she knows that she will experience along the way, but being newly divorced it’s no time like the present. Starting in Chicago she is going to travel Route 66 to California, taking care of a very personal errand along the way. In a diner the morning of her leaving she meets Anderson, a soulful looking stranger. She again sees him the next day, then the next, and when her rental car breaks down she takes him up on his offer to drive the route with her.
Nora, a woman trapped by a past that she doesn’t know let go of, is the type of character that you can instantly connect with. She is floating through life in a haze, living but not alive. Guilt, pain, and what-ifs plague her so much that she can’t let go of what might have been. During her trip, and with the guidance of Anderson, she learns how to breathe again. Anderson is more than meets the eye. A prince taking a break from responsibilities and hiding from a diagnosis that he doesn’t know how to deal with, he, too, has past hurts that need to be reconciled and buried.
Call it chance, fate, or destiny, Nora and Anderson are meant to meet and learn about each other. T.K. Leigh takes her characters’ heartbreak and weaves into a story that is as beautiful as it is tragic. Nora and Anderson’s relationship grows and comes full circle with a shocking twist that will take your breath away and stop your heart.
Royal Games is a gripping, enthralling, fantastic story that should not be missed.
This is a story about loss and grief in different ways. A story about letting go and taking new chances.
Filled with emotions, romance and a little humor.
And it reminded me that Route 66 is still on our bucket list. Thanks for the trip T.K. Leigh.
Anderson Nora

Prepare your heart, mind and soul. This is going to hit all the feels you have. It will tug at your heartstrings and you won’ t be able to stop it. You’ll be on an emotional roller coaster.
Both Nora and Anderson have already been through so much before they even meet. You wonder how they’re going to survive individually. Once they meet the the journey they take together is beautiful, heartfelt, intriguing and full of heat. Their journey will keep you riveted. I don’t do spoilers because it’s not fair to the author. Plus where’s the fun if I tell you. Read the blurb and buy the book. You will want to experience this beautiful story for your heart. You won’t be able to put it down. It is compelling reading. I read it in one sitting. You won’t be sorry. Also you will get a wonderful educational and beautiful trip experience. Seriously, I would love to follow the route of this book someday.
This book took me on a journey and I’m so happy I took the trip!
Loved this road trip love story.
This is the fourth (standalone) book in the dating games series. This book followed Nora, who in a lot of the previous books just appears to have a superficial background, but with this book we find out there is so much more to her story.
Nora has a rather heartbreaking past that she finally decided to comes to terms with by means of a cross country road trip. Insert mystery man who has his own demons and add in a royal flare.
I always fall in love the author’s characters and find their stories to be epic while their heroines are down to earth and with the same reactions, which is important to me.
Another great read, and another to follow 😉

This was a touching story. Nora decides to take a road trip on Route 66. Which she had originally planned to take with her fiance, instead she is spreading his ashes along the way. Anderson meets Nora in a diner and after hearing about her trip along Route 66 decides that he wants to do the same. They keep running into each other, and after Nora has car trouble Anderson offers for her to travel the rest of the way with him. I really liked both Nora and Anderson. They both are working through there own challenges. And it left me rooting for them wanting them to get there happy ending. The story was good! And I can’t wait for the next one to come out! I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. This is the fourth book in the series but can be read as a standalone.
Nora’s divorce has just been finalized. She has decided to go on a divor-cation. Taking that Route 66 that she has been scared to take because it will open up all her old wounds.
Anderson has just been given the worst news possible. Before he can return home and tell his father he decides a road trip is just what he needs. He never expected to find his soul on the same trip. A soul just as damaged as his.
OMG this book! It had me sobbing with all the feels. I fell in love with Anders and Nora’s stories. There was so much I didn’t see coming. Definitely a must read! 5+
Nora and Anderson are laugh out loud funny but at the same time the story is a wild roller coaster of emotions. Royal Games (Dating Games 4) by T.K. Leigh will suck readers in from the very first page you won’t want to put it down! What a great read!! You will not be disappointed.
Wow This is a great read. There is so much emotion and so many past hurts to be overcome. Nora, who we have met in previous stories, has a rollercoaster ride between getting a divorce, deciding to take a trip she has been putting off for 6 years and meeting a man who she instantly connects with but who is hiding a terrible secret. Anderson has his own demons to overcome on his trip along Route 66, does he want to be King in the future? will his health allow him to claim the throne? then to discover the truth about Nora. Fate and Faith have a lot to do with outcome of this story which captured me from the very beginning. I love the four friends and their devotion to each other.
I loved this book. It had me in tears but was such a beautiful love story. The story of Nora and Anderson both with tragic back stories woven together with a splash of fate. I’m not going to give any spoilers it’s best to go in blind. Just know that this is a book you should read.

I was so excited to read Nora’s story and I loved it! Nora was introduced in the earlier Dating Games books. I would recommend reading the previous books in the series, to get some of the background information on Nora. She is the fourth gal in this group of friends. We’ve gotten Evie’s, Chloe’s and Izzy’s stories, now Nora. Nora needs to move on from her past and her recent heartache she just endured. To do this, she decides to hit the road and take a trip along Route 66. This was something that she had planned to do when tragedy struck six years ago. Nora lost part of her self then and wasn’t sure if she could ever find it again. Then comes this beautiful, somewhat familiar, man into her path…Anderson. Anderson, is also suffering from past heartache along with some new news that he is finding difficult to handle. But when this beauty meets his eye in the Chicago diner, he can feel the pull. Along the route, these two keep crossing path’s. Until, Nora can no longer continue on her own. She needs Anderson. And Anderson needs her. Unbeknown to them, these two share a bond. It is not until the end of their trip that it all comes to light. I enjoyed taking this trip with Nora and Anderson. T.K. did a wonderful job writing this book. There is sadness, illness, betrayal, humor and love that is written on all these pages. You will feel all of it while on this journey from the beginning to the end.
