Nora was unfortunate to walk in on her husband with another man. Now divorced, her friends talk her into taking some time off and she decides to travel historic Route 66 as she had originally planned with her fiancé, Hunter, before he was killed in a car accident. She meets a gorgeous man along the way, then sees him the next day as well. Is there a reason Fate keeps bringing them together?
Anderson has his own issues to deal with as he travels Route 66. He felt something unfamiliar when he met Nora. They spend a few weeks together in their travels, their feelings growing slowly. But he has a secret. He has to think about his future, which is not his alone. Will the two of them walk away after their magical journey together? Or is there another path they are meant to follow?
I love this book so hard! Nora and Anderson made me love them so much. These characters were so amazing and the chemistry between them was amazingly hot. I love Nora’s friends too. Who knew a road trip could lead to so many answers and some heartbreak. This is a story that will stick with me for a long time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!

I floved this story! My heart twisted and turned at the many emotions that Nora and Anderson’s journey through Route 66 evoked. What a great journey it was.
Newly divorced Nora Tremblay has lost all hope that she will find her HEA. Six years ago her life was brutally changed and has never been the same. Add to that a spur of the moment marriage to a man who turned out to be gay and an overbearing mother who analysis her every move and mistakes, Nora’s life is a far cry from happy. In her desire to avoid her mother’s visit, she goes on a much delayed journey to confront her past and finally move forward with her life. Along the way she meets a very handsome stranger that she keeps “bumping” into. Something about him pulls her to him and makes her feel things she hasn’t felt in a long time.
Anderson North is, himself, on a journey of self-discovery and introspection. After receiving some devastating news, he finds himself traveling along Route 66 where he encounters a woman he can’t resist approaching. Something about her speaks to him and he doesn’t understand why. As luck would have it, Nora’s car breaks down and it’s the perfect opportunity to offer his services as a road trip buddy. Buckle up!
This journey which takes up the majority of the story is so incredibly poignant. Every step of their trip is filled with touching and revealing moments. It had me crying and laughing and everything in between. Their relationship evolves before our eyes. So beautifully written. I think this may be my favorite story of the four friends and not just because I love the heroine’s name lol but because their story is so heartbreakingly beautiful. Their quest to move on from their painful pasts makes them stronger and brings them true everlasting love.
I loved every second of this story. Of course I had to Google Route 66 and it added so much authenticity to the story. I felt every bump and it was so worth the ride. I can’t wait to read Tangled Games.
An awesome addition to this great series.
As always T.K. Leigh gives us a thrill ride of emotions. This time we happen to get a road trip along with it!
Not only are Nora and Anderson richly developed characters that you get to know but you can’t help but want the best for them. Especially Nora who has been through so much in her life.
It takes true talent to take characters that are so complex and be able to truly open up to and be able to blend themselves to chemistry and deep feelings.
As always with her books there is a twist but I am not going to say anything about that. No spoilers here. This is a great addition to a fabulous series!
I absolutely LOVED this book!! Nora and Anderson…I LOVE them! Both of them setting out alone on a journey to work through monumental life changes…both keep meeting…fate. Swoon. Loved the twist this book had. And let me tell you that this IS a stand-alone…but my heart skipped a beat when I finished the book and read a teaser of a follow up book to these two!! YAY!!
Nora’s story was not the story I was expecting….it was so much more! Nora is compassionate, caring, and a bit carefree but so guarded when it comes to her heart. She has loved and lost one to many times and she isn’t falling for it anymore. Even though she meets the good looking prince who comes in to rescue her when her car breaks down. As she gets to know Anderson North she feels her heart begining to heal again. But Anderson North is keeping a lot of secrets. Unfortunately, not only from Nora but from his self too. This book is touching with lots of feels. It goes in a direction I’m not sure I would be able to go but I love the message that T.K. Leigh brings to this book. Even though this book is in a series it can be enjoyed as a stand alone.
This book was amazing. So witty, emotional, and fun!! Nora and Anderson have so much chemistry, it was off the charts. This book is bittersweet since it is the last in the series, you are not going to want to wait to pick it up and dive in. I always think TK couldn’t possibly top her last book, but she ALWAYS proves me wrong!
Royal Games is book 4 in the Dating Games series by T.K. Leigh. And DAMN if I wasn’t BLOWN AWAY by this sexy, hot, dirty talking Brit!!! Talk about swoony!!!
Royal Games hit all my buttons, gave me all the feels!! Expect a rollercoaster of emotions reading it cause I was all over the place. I ADORED Nora and Anderson’s adventure.
Mrs Leigh wrote this book with perfection describing sites I would love to see. Just reading Royal Games makes me want to drive Route 66. Royal Games is a beautiful story full of love, loss, healing, and finding love again. I LOVED it!
I can’t wait to see what happens with Anderson and Nora!!
ROYAL GAMES is the fifth book in the Games series. Though each will stand on its own, it is better if you have read the others in this series to know the interactions of the couples in the group.
I didn’t even need to look at the playlist at the end of this book; I could recite the songs that inspired many of the scenes and I highly approve. This story is full of heartfelt emotions that run the full scale from despair to unrelenting joy. I loved the message of living in the moment and letting go of the pains of the past. I was in full-on swoon over Crown Prince Gabriel Anderson Joseph Xavier Wellingston of Belmont aka Anderson “Anders” North.
Along with all of the emotion and swoon-worthy romance, there is the trip of a lifetime for both of them. I don’t like to travel in real life, but in books it’s fun (There’s no packing or weird motels for me.) This story took me on the mythical magical Route 66 fantasy road trip. Starting at the Lou Mitchell’s Diner in Chicago, through so many iconic historic and tourist stops, before reaching the Santa Monica Pier in California.
Not all Cinderella stories start with a pumpkin. For Nora, it starts with a lemon from the budget rent-a-car.
I thought that getting our hands on Nora and her Prince Charming would be the end of this series. Good news: there will be one more book and it will have more of Anders and Nora. It can’t come soon enough! I’m hoping it includes Ander’s sister, Esme, and his best friend, Creed. Protocols be damned, my romantic heart wants them to get their happily ever after too!
Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC via Booksprout, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

Such a fantastic story!
The Dating Games series has been such a delight and I was so happy to dive into Nora’s story. I loved that TK turned this one into a road trip and knew that it was going to be a fun-filled, adventurous ride. When Nora’s marriage comes to an end, thanks to her cheating husband, her friends, that we’ve met in the other stories in this series, suggest she take a road trip down none other than the famous Route 66. A trip to find herself, a trip to heal. Along the way, Nora stumbles upon Anderson, a British speaking hunk, not once, but twice. Right off, you know there’s going to be something between these two and TK gives her readers a story that will embrace you, will make you smile, will make you swoon.
Nora and Anderson quickly become a favorite couple of mine and I love the adventure they have together. Anderson had his own past issues and there’s nothing like the chemistry that exists between these two. Anderson is as genuine as they come and he’s the perfect person for Nora.
TK never fails to warm my heart with her beautifully created stories. Royal Games, whether this is your first read of the series or you’ve them all, will stir all kinds of emotions and when you reach the twist, your jaw will drop because TK has done it again! I love this author and her stories so hard! Five heart-warming stars!!
I know I may sound a little crazy to say that I have to give myself time to try and write a review for a T.K. Leigh new release. If I try and write right after I finish the book, I find that I’m on an adrenaline high from falling in love with the characters and I want to blab on and on and won’t be able to write a spoiler-free review.
Royal Games is the fourth book in the Dating Series and this is Nora’s story. After a divorce, Nora’s best friends convince her to fulfill a promise to her late husband. This road trip is meant to leave a little of something behind at certain tourist sites along the way. Nora never expected that the journey and a man that she meets along the way would lead to letting go of the past, be accepting of love, and finding herself.
Anderson North, this character is as strong as his name sounds. Anderson is also driving around with no destination in sight that’s until he sets his sight on a lady in a diner. It seems as if fate has come at the right time for this character who is also in need of answers and forgiveness.
Royal Games pulled at my heartstrings, the chemistry between Nora and Anderson is felt off of the pages, it’s heated but the connection that draws them to each other is what had me falling in love with them. I did not want to put this book down, I wanted to take this drive on Route 66 right along with them even if it meant that my heart was going to break right along with these characters. The secrets in this story will have you turning the pages wanting answers. I’m already a fan of this author but she amazes me every time and leaves me wanting her next book in my hand.
5 MUST-READ STARS!!!
This is book 4 in the Dating Games series and I would absolutely read the previous books before reading this one. There is some back story and relationships talked about in the previous books that you may not understand without reading those books first. In this one we get Nora and Anderson’s story. Nora has been through a lot, from a divorce that is brought on by her husband not being attracted to girls to a previous broken engagement. Her heart has been through the wringer. So she decides that she wants to go on a road trip and try to figure out what to do next. When her rental car breaks down, she doesn’t expect to meet Anderson. Or for him to take her with him on the road. But can she get past the things she has been through and learn to trust another man? Especially one with secrets of his own?
I really liked this one! Both of these people have been through a lot of things that most people don’t have to deal with. And while it left scars, they are trying to learn to move forward. Which is more than most people do! They have this instant spark and connection which I really liked. There are a lot of emotions involved with both of them, which I didn’t expect but I really liked! This was a really good read, it just started off slow for me, which is why I didn’t give it 5 stars!
A heartwarming and fun read, T.K Leigh has once again outdone herself. I could not put down this book
Travel, adventure, passion, and a sexy stranger. I was hooked on this and the back and forth between Anderson and Nora while on this unexpected road trip they end up together. They have an undeniable pull. The trip itself made me feel as though I was there and I could feel all their emotions and the adventure they were on.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I’ve devoured the other books in this series the last few days before reading this one, and I’m so glad that I did. Although this can be read as a standalone, I think it is so much better to read Evie, Chloe, and Izzy’s books first. That way you get a true understanding of the kind of friendship that Nora, Chloe,Izzy, and Evie have. Everyone needs friends like them.
I absolutely loved Nora and Anderson’s story. A chance meeting while driving Route 66 was perfect. It was emotional, angsty, and so much more.
Nora has so much pain from her past, and is taking the trip to finally let it all go. She never expects to meet someone.
Anderson is just trying to hide from his real life for awhile by driving across the country on his own.
I definitely recommend this book
I cannot wait for their story to continue in Tangled Games

Royal games is the 5th book in the “Dating Games” series. This time, we learn about Nora’s past & present. We first learn that Nora’s divorce from Jeremy (who admitted he’d cheated on her with another man) has become final, and she once again finds herself alone. Luckily, though, she does have her BFF’s, Chloe, Evie & Izzy, who are a great support system for her. Evie thinks that Nora should go on a “Divor-cation” to just get away for awhile & have some time for herself. It’s Chloe who suggests that Nora drive the length of Route 66, which brings up some painful memories of a trip that Nora never got to take.
About 6 years ago, Nora was happy, 6 months pregnant, and engaged to Hunter, her first true love. They were going to take the trip on Route 66 together when they moved out to California. Those plans came to an abrupt halt when a car accident took all that away from Nora. To this day, she still hasn’t let go of Hunter’s or her daughter Ember’s memory. Finally agreeing with Chloe that it’s time to let her past go, Nora flies out to Chicago to start her trip on the infamous road.
What she finds on this trip is Anderson. Anderson, with his slight British accent, has his own demons that he’s trying to deal with after losing his fiancée unexpectedly and then receiving news that he’s got a disease that could possibly leave him in a wheelchair. He’s been planning on taking this very same trip before going home to deal with his illness as well as his “Princely” duties. While at a diner a few blocks from the beginning of his trip, both he and Nora are sitting at the counter. He notices her immediately and asks her if she’s driving out on Route 66. Startled, she answers him, and they chat for a mere few minutes. She leaves to start her trip, and Anderson does the same.
What happens next is a few “coincidental” meet ups and a pull of attraction they both feel deeply. Their story is so wonderful and sweet, but like most of T.K. Leigh’s books, she throws a wrench into their story (Chapter 23!!!) that I did not see coming. It’s a devastating realization that could destroy them both.
I absolutely loved Nora & Anderson’s journey. It’s all about love, loss, forgiveness, and new beginnings. Don’t wait to read this book; you won’t be sorry!
I loved this book! So perfect! Spicy and sexy and fun but also lots of feels! I loved the hero and heroine! Totally perfect together and I loved how they interacted! Couldn’t have asked for a better read!

Wow! Loved Nora and Anderson’s story!! Their story was beautifully written and heartfelt!
Loved this story What better way to find yourself than to take a trip along Route 66!!! Nora goes on this trip to clear her head and her heart. She meets a handsome stranger and sparks fly. Anderson North is a complete gentleman who has secrets of his own…but when he meets Nora all he wants to do it tell her everything so he can keep her. As always, it’s a great story and T.k. Leigh knows how to keep you wanting more.
