I love this series! Nora and Kieran’s story just like the others is fantastic, it’s got love, adventure, trial of discovering each other and danger! And danger it was, oh boy, you must read to find out what happened. Such a wonderful HEA, and if you couldn’t tell, yes I recommend this book!

Meg thrills the reader yet again in this continuing story of the Dragons of Charok. Looking forward to number 3
great read
She’s an independent dragon – she’s no damsel in distress
In fact she wears jeans mostly (sorry I just couldn’t resist!)
I loved reading these dragon tales from Meg Ripley as I feel we have journeyed through space with those eggs and we watched their fathers find their mates – now we’re on the second book of the younglings story and I feel like an auntie to the dragonlings.
I loved Noras fire and confidence but I loved the fact that Kieran trusted his instincts, even when it seemed as if they cost him Nora.
Always trust your instincts – it wonto let you down
I am volunteering to leave a review of an ARC of this book
The plot was well written and well planned and the characters were written with great detail and depth that I was totally hooked until the very end!
An amazing intriguing read that will keep you on the edge of your seat. A lot happens in this book guaranteed to keep you invested until the end – some twists and turns, trickery, suspense, and mystery. The storyline is consistent, engaging, well-developed, and emotional. Amazing characters you will love. Highly recommended.

This author brings some great books. This story is a complex blend of action, intrigue, danger and, of course, romance. Again i have to say this book has it all

This book is filled with action and intrigue, the chemistry and interaction between
Kieran and Nora is wonderful. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
I liked that Kieran and knew Nora already knew each other. I also loved how much Nora was into plants and was happy with that. I am glad that Kieran was able to help Nora be more okay with being a dragon. I loved that Kieran had such a strong protective instinct. I also loved that they had their own story but there was the continuation of some things from the first book.

This is another great book in the Dragons of Charok series that you won’t want to put down. I was caught up in Kieran’s story as he realizes that Nora is his fated mate while she denies the attraction between them and fends off his warnings of danger. **4 & 1/2 Star’s**
Honestly, I wasn’t sure where this story was going between Nora and Kieran. Nora’s is very stubborn and independent and Kieran is still very new to Earth.
But I have to say, Meg doesn’t disappoint. Another intriguing story, and in my opinion the best one in the series!

ONE SCORCHING TREAT!!!
OMG! Holy crap! Talk about one intense treat. Meg hits solid gold with this installment. An eddy of circumstances and events propel all of your emotions to life beautifully. Twists and turns abound along with a few glitches and kinks bring this impressive storyline and dramatic plot together perfectly. All the drama, intrigue, danger and suspense draws you deeper into the world Meg created until everything else ceases to exist. The characters are astute, convincing and so realistic its easy to relate. The scenes are written with such realism it makes for one sensational backdrop. Impressive job Meg, thanks for sharing this amazing read with us.
Denial…
This spin-off series continues to be as good as the original. This time around we get Nora and Kieran. Nora is so far in denial about who and what she truly is that it almost costs her everything. Kieran is a true protector but can he truly protect someone who doesn’t want to believe?

On the planet Charok, the evil wizard Tazarre was meeting with the other wizards reporting back on the progress of their experiments with the poisonous Great Curse on their dragon enemies. So far, by the reports, it seemed to be working well, wiping out all the dragons it was tested against. So Tazarre announced to them he had finished his calculations on the final spell to use against them, now certain it would decimate the dragons completely! He would have to give up his life since the magic was so powerful he could not survive. But he could say for sure, things would be changing soon in Charok.
Nora Mitchell was enjoying the woods with her friend, Holly. Nora had hit a thousand subscribers on her YouTube channel doing videos to identify plant life. It proved far more popular than she ever expected! Holly had a degree in film and photography, so she helped Nora with the filming for free – well, maybe for a coffee now and then. They were just finishing up when Nora heard a loud crash in the woods! They figured it must have been a large tree branch or something really big. The light was fading, so Holly turned toward home while Nora, working as a lab assistant, went back to the university to make sure everything was spotless and the plants watered before she left.
Kieran also worked at the university. He was one of the security guards, and Nora’s building was on his scheduled rounds. Nora didn’t know him well, but she did know his secret – both of them were dragons. Her inner dragon went crazy whenever she saw him, so she had been trying to avoid him whenever possible. Nora had been one of the Queen’s eggs rescued from Charok right before the devastation, so she had always lived on Earth. Kieran was part of a clan of dragons that had been accidentally brought from Charok through a portal incident and remained here to avoid being hunted. They had lived their lives in dragon form mostly, unlike the Earth-dwelling counterparts.
When Nora is attacked by a disguised wizard, Kieran rushes to her aid. Nora is stubborn and very independent, so she doesn’t make it easy for Kieran to keep her safe. Will they discover why they react to each other as they do? Will Nora begin to trust him enough to let herself fall in love? Or will the evil wizards from Charok succeed in eradicating all of the dragons, even those here on Earth?
I really enjoy this series and was happy to read about Nora and Kieran. The characters are so well drawn in the reader’s mind, and their personalities keep the spark of interest as the reader enjoys their interactions. Kieran was my favorite, but they each actually were good for each other. Grab your copy and enjoy the stories of the two worlds and the evil that spread to Earth!
Nora, one of the four rescued offspring of Charok’s Queen has spent her life trying to fit in with others, almost to the point of denying her heritage. It’s a problem whenever her path crosses Kieran’s, since he is slipping into her thoughts. Kieran is still trying to adjust to his new life after accidentally appearing from Charok. Growing closer brings complications they weren’t expecting. Royal Dragon’s Protector is another entertaining novel from the Shifters Between Worlds Series. Meg Ripley has brought interesting characters to life; I recommend this book and the others in her series.

Before reading the book, I have expected a similar storyline to book 1 but was pleasantly surprised that it did not. Though I am not a Dragon, I can easily identify with the characters. A very well thought out book.
