“Blood and brotherhood.”
Wow! Of course, I’d pick the final book in the series to read as a standalone and an introduction to the author. She’s been on my TBR for a long time, and I’m glad I finally found the time to check her out. I enjoyed meeting the whole Notorious Devils family in this epic finale to what I can tell was a very interesting series. There was definitely “blood and brotherhood” present in this story. Camo’s brothers cared too much to stay out of his business. They interfered and offered unsolicited advice, but always had his back.
I must admit that I didn’t like Camo too much in the beginning. He started out on the wrong foot with me, and being inside his head made it even worse. It’s a good thing my kindle has a rubber kiddie case to protect it when I get mad and want to throw it. I was right there with his brothers, wanting to tell him to wake up and pull his head out of his ass before he did something stupid that he would regret forever. See, that’s where the frustration lies, in knowing what he’s thinking and considering before he actually makes a final decision. I was all up in his business too, offering unsolicited advice that was ignored.
Ivy had my support from the get-go, even though she made some choices that I didn’t agree with. But that’s what the author was trying to show me. That everyone has flaws, and nobody is perfect. That life is rough and real. And that when you’re feeling, “defeated, deflated and depressed” that “sometimes love isn’t enough.” It was difficult to go through such a painful experience with Ivy. My heart broke for her and her kids and I sighed and worried for them all as they struggled to keep their family together.
What an emotional journey I took with not only Camo & Ivy, but with their kids as well. I got caught up in their lives and became invested in their future. I fell for some of the other brothers as well, including their wives and kids. I felt the love and support they all had for each other and was intrigued to learn more about their stories as well. I started at the end of this series and wished I hadn’t missed out on the beginning. And let’s not forget the suspense factor, the club business was dark and deadly, keeping me on the edge of my seat.
I was pleasantly surprised to find some extra goodness at the end of the book that I wasn’t expecting. It really added to my whole Notorius Devils experience and made me fall even harder for the amazing cast of characters that I had just met and was not ready to let go of just yet. I’m pleased to report that I’ve found a new author to stalk and I look forward to seeing what she comes up with next. The line forms here…
I am really going to miss this series……
This was one hot read from cover to cover and we loved it and it had a superb ending to a great series! We are hoping this author has another MC series in store for us in the near future.
This story had everything a MC romance needs to make it exciting and enticing and super hot along with having a amazing cast of characters present and past. This was such a touching romance story that you could not help but feel
emotional about its characters and their marriageable problems.I am sure a lot of married couples like myself have gone where Ivy and West have gone so I was really able to relate to them.I loved how Ivy took charge of her life and decided to make changes to her benefit and hers alone. West aka Camo on the other hand I just wanted to smack up side of the head for the mistakes he continued to make regarding his treatment of Ivy and that of his kids.
I always pick a favorite character as my top favorite and mine is going to be Ivy.I loved everything about Ivy and her character for the onset of the story.I found Ivy to be strong and independent, intelligent, kind, caring,I loved how she loved so fiercely both her kids and husband.I loved how she was determined to make a happy life with or without West.I loved no matter what trouble she and West were experiencing and even his blatant disregard for her she never stop loving him.My heart just broke for Ivy and how she was treated and how she must have felt defeated and depressed knowing sometimes love just isn’t enough.
West aka Camo really pissed me off.I have to stay I was all the way team Ivy.West could have avoided so such much pain and suffering that he had caused Ivy if he had just trusted her enough to talk to her about how he was feeling regarding his heart along with how he needed something more from their current sex life. What really ticked me off about West is how he constantly did everything to make Ivy feel like shit yet kept having sex with her and constantly reminding her she belonged to him all the while he planned on leaving her.How messed up is he? I have to say that I liked West as a character up to this point but, this current story my feelings
toward him were not ones of like and I want to say as the story progressed he did not redeem himself in my eyes.
This story was engrossing from the onset of the story and had you get emotionally attached
to its characters.I loved being on Ivy and West’s journey and it just proves to you what the say is true sometimes love is not enough and their story could have ended way differently then it did.Ivy and West’s problems were not easy ones to overcome its just that Ivy was willing to at least explore sexually that gave their marriage a chance at all.I have to say that my heart went out to Ivy more than once in this story and I wanted to be right along side of her sheeding tears for her and with her.
Regardless of the trouble this couple were
experiencing they were hot is hell together in and out of the bedroom and the sparks and chemistry was always there and the love they shared with one another quite evident .This is something a couple hopes to achieve or maintain after so many years together and yet feeling the way West did for his wife he was willing to through what that had away in a heartbeat yet, others only
dream of what he already had!!
I have to make a special mention of Soar throughout this story as we saw just how much Soar has grown over this series as he was in a similar situation with his marriage and was offering marital advice was just to funny.Unlike West Soar redeemed himself in my eyes.
Although his advice was genuine kind and based on his past experience trying to get West to listen to him was impossible.
Soar the ex drug addict man whore who cheated on his wife their entire marriage is now a reformed man giving marriage advice.I loved it!Priceless…..
I love when you can connect with the characters that you read about and I was able to do that with this cast of characters as we love them and even those we love to hate. For me when that happens I know I am going to love
the story I am reading and I did just that.A page turner for sure. The author created a special and a emotional story for us to read and created and amazing ending to a series that we have grown to love and we are really are going to miss the characters that this author had created for us.One thing that is great about owning books is that you can bring them out and re-read them anytime you want to revisit your favorite characters over and over again.
A recommend read to all! Each and every story I have read by this author we have loved and we hope that whatever this author decides to create is another series for us to fall in love with all over again. One of the things I love about this author is the way she interacts with her fans
and the way she takes an interest in them as much as she can.We love that about her and we hope she continues to Wow us with the stories she creates.

I ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY LOVE THIS SERIES!!!
As always I’m never disappointed with Hayley’s books. West/Camo and Ivy’s story is an emotional rollercoaster. This book was so push and pull it almost wore me out. Lol. But I loved every minute of it. I have fallen in love with these characters. Not just these two but the whole Notorious Devil’s MC crew. My heart ached for poor Ivy. I hated West for what he put Ivy and his kids through. I understood his obsession or should I say his addiction to voyeurism but I don’t understand why he didn’t feel he could share it with Ivy. Did he think she was that naive. When it started really effecting the kids I was cussing West out. Lol. At times I was crying, alot actually. And at times I was laughing. Chad and Brian especially Chad was a hoot. Now when Ivy and Derek started getting a little too close I was bumming out because I think West and Ivy belong together. Their chemistry is so Smokin hot but It really makes me mad when these guys hurt their women then the women turn around and just let the men come back and f**k their brains out. I’d say NO F**KIN WAY! but then I tend to hold a grudge. Lol. I really loved how the last few chapters were devoted to the next generation. I truly hope Hayley continues this series right into the next generation of the family. I need more of Bailey and Rosalie and Riley and Tinker and Finley and Hacker. Hell, I want more of them all. Lol. I EXTREMELY recommend this series to everyone.
The premise of this book was based on the main characters facing a common problem after being married for 15 years. The relationship suffers because of lack of communication and falling into the rut of day to day parenting and losing sight of maintaining the relationship between husband and wife. He checks out as a parent and leaves it all to Ivy. He’s seldom home and spending most of his time at the club. Ivy wakes up and decides to do the usual things a neglected wife usually does. She signs up for the gym and goes from an overweight wife to a woman who has a good body and feels good about herself. Both Ivy and Camo continuously go back and forth about leaving or staying to fight for the relationship. Of course, there’s a multitude of things that threaten their family related to the club. Actually so many things it became almost unbelievable. I didn’t like Camo at all. He was selfish and weak IMO. I thought Ivy was weak. She was too weak to leave and was willing to take whatever Camo dished out because she loved him. The book was very long and the attacks from different sources became unbelievable and was OTT IMO.
(view spoiler) Camo becomes obsessed with his sexual attraction to what goes on in the “free for all” room at the clubhouse. However he’s afraid to ask Ivy to participate. He doesn’t go as far as having actual sex with another woman but spends a lot of time just watching and dreaming about watching other men pleasure Ivy. He thinks he can’t ask her to do that for him because she’s his wife and the mother of his kids. He’s willing to leave his wife/children behind because of his obsession with the sharing. Finally, after numerous attacks on his family, he shares his desire with her. She agrees to go with him to the free for all room and “watch.” Prior to that she has actual sex with the prospect assigned to guard her because Camo prefers to stay at the club instead of coming home. So they both end up going to the “free for all” room twice a month. They choose a different man each time. The man can do anything to Ivy, while Camo watches, except put his penis in her vagina. Everything else is wide open. They then become a close, loving couple and Camo resumes being a good Dad. Ivy, of course, suffers guilt for actually screwing the prospect.
I loved seeing Camo and Ivy. They have to overcome a lot and while you could feel their struggle, you could also feel their deep love. The author did a really great job when it comes to having readers not only invested in their happiness but also the way they cope. I have been waiting for a book like this in this series and I was really excited to finally get it. The author did a great job with brining in our favorite secondary couples and throwing twists when it came to the club. I’ll admit I had a few stray tears fall while reading a few scenes.
I’m thinking that this is the end of this series and the originals but I saw that there is a spin off series that I have added to my TBR. These characters had me hooked. Even when I was annoyed o still couldn’t stop until I finished the whole series. I’m sad that it’s over but I love how it ended. 4 stars #2OCCJD
