Uneven plotting in the collected novels. Interesting concept that was, at times, poorly executed. The characters ignorance of the mechanics of Natural Selection in the first book was startlingly jarring. The plague book was the best one for pacing and suspension of disbelief.
I liked the intriguing concept, however, the story skittered across the top of the story without creating any real depth of character or plot. It was like reading a NYT coverage of a story, rather than “living” it.
It really makes you think about history as we think we know it.
A clever concept is turned into an entertaining page-turner with enough thrills, character-development, and unpredictable adventures in each book to satisfy even the most jaded reader. The books bring a high quality of writing and story-telling to the forefront, keeping the reader’s interest piqued. Very well-done, and highly recommended.
I couldn’t stop reading, keep me interested, the way it was developed mixing si-fi, romance, fact and action together without going to far. This is the kind of books I never get tire of.
Read this as boxed set.
The first was super action packed. The second had me wondering if another author had ghost written it.
I soldiered on and am glad I did.
The ambiguity of the Rossler group’s benevolence and danger to society glues it all nicely.
Alternative world history. If you don’t believe in God then you might believe this.
These books are all wonderful! I stayed up late for many nights reading until I couldn’t keep my eyes open. Well written, compelling story.
Kinda long but a good read
Great series. I’ve read all that are available and hope there will be more. But scary about out society and the possibilities of a Brave New World scenario, Don’t miss this series. It makes you think!
Interesting concept of “what might be so”!
Awesome series!
Great adventure
different than anything I have read.
I ripped through the series after reading the first book. As a fast reader, I would finish one book, download the next book, them the next one, and the next one..
Just bad writing
This was one of the best sets of books that I have read recently. Could not put the books down until I finished them. Outstanding reading.
A good read with plenty of action.
This is a terrific set of novels. the story is quite believable even though a novel. I loved it!
Still reading. Good plot. Unusual.
