Army veteran, Ross Webber, is in agony. His new roommate is killing him. Torturing him with her sexy curves and making him so hot and miserable he doesn’t know what to do with himself. Heidi O’Neil’s head is filled with impure thoughts and visions of hard, hot male flesh. The former nun can’t stop fantasizing about her new roommate and the delicious sins she’d love to do to his body. Except Heidi … Except Heidi isn’t looking for forever, even if her roomie is temptation on a stick.
The sexual tension explodes when an innocent touch leads to a night of passion. But Heidi fears putting her heart on the line. Can Ross convince the woman he loves they’re much more than roommates with benefits? Or will the lovers be forced to go their separate ways?

Ross wraps up the Mechanics & Mayhem series along with also wrapping up a big thread started in the previous book.
While Ross Weber was recovering from a near fatal beating he met the woman of his dreams. When she volunteered to go home with him when he is released to help nurse him back to health he finds it hard to fight his attraction. But the lingering effects of the viscous attack have left him with PTSD and a ton of guilt over a secret he is having to keep.
Heidi O’Neil joined a convent to become a nun after a traumatizing incident in her past. Problem was she thoughts always ran to the impure nature. She walks away and joins her best friend in Tallahassee. Jane is the cop that was assigned Ross’s case and her boyfriend is Ross’s best friend and co-worker. Heidi first meets Ross when he is in a coma and feels an instant connection to him. She decides she is going to be the one that helps him recover.
These two go from friends to lovers to having to face demons from the past that are threatening to ruin their new found love.
I liked that the way Ross chose to put his demons and what happened that night behind him was unconventional. Great wrap up to the series and loved that it ended with an epilogue of Vlad.
Mayhem and Mechanics
Ross is recovering from being attacked viciously and invites Heidi to move in with him as he needs someone to help him while he recovers. Both him and Heidi though start having carnal thoughts of each other and after a month eventually end up in bed together! However, the attack leaves him feeling differently and having darker thoughts that only Heidi can chase away, or will he chase her away?
Great story and enjoyed this entire series which was certainly not as dark as previous stories which was nice for a changeAbsolutely loved Vlad in all his philosophical glory along with his and Lucy Jeans’ favourite special needs animals, both them and Vlad had me laughing more than once
Ex Nun and a Mechanic!!! Ross was left for dead on the side of the road. In the hospital in a coma he heard her voice and fell in love. Now there roommates trying to resist temptation. The conclusion to this series was just as good as the first. I loved all the Vlad quotes. The Epilogue was awesome. Vlad will always be my favorite and I hope w
Ross was pulled from a coma looking for the soothing voice that chased away the darkness. What he didn’t expect to find was Heidi. Now he is in a different type of turmoil with spending all of his time with the woman he fell in love with before he could see her face. He fights the feelings he has so he doesn’t drive her away. What could he offer her when he still has so many demons to fight.
Heidi felt the connection between them when she first touched his hand. Now that he is awake he occupies all of her thoughts and dreams. For a former Nun those thoughts are very naughty, but what would it take for them to become a reality.
Heidi and Ross navigate the waters as they build on their friendship and discover what they have had all along. Can they survive the trouble ahead or will Ross let his demons win.
This is a wonderful story dealing with PTSD after a traumatic experience. The love and support of friends and family that help to get him through as well as the power of forgiveness. I highly recommend Ross (Mechanics & Mayhem book 4) it can be read as a stand alone but to get more out of the story I recommend reading the whole series.
