I loved this book. Rosa and Dan’s story has been a while coming.. They have been like oil and water since Rosa’s husband was killed in one of the earlier stories in this wonderful series. Their story needed to be told and this Author did an excellent job! Her natural ability to bring out the feelings in her characters makes her books so enjoyable. The characters have real feelings, real personalities and do things based on their feelings. This makes her books readable and fun! You never know what will happen next!
Rosa has a temper and she isn’t afraid to show it.
Dan has fallen helplessly in love with this spitfire, but he really doesn’t know it and must realize this before he can truly understand how she feels. They are destined to be together in his eyes… but their eyes do not see the same story! How will Dan show his love for her without pushing her further away. Rosa has a past of not feeling wanted in her life and Her first husband took her away from all that. She does not want to end up in that situation again and it has clouded her judgement. She sees Dan as someone that can take her back to that life she left behind!
I received an ARC of this book and am choosing to leave an honest review.
What a fun, fun book. This is Rosa and Dan’s story and the character development is excellent. This story is action packed, sad at times, and humorous at other times with some danger sprinkled in. The author has done a wonderful job of incorporating characters from earlier stories in this series into this one. I really enjoyed this story and highly recommend it. Don’t miss this one…I know you will enjoy it.
I adored this story of feisty Rosa and an equally good intentions of a sulky Dan. These two are perfect for each other even if it took a long time for either to realize it. I loved how she would get so worked up when he was around and just stringing her words in Spanish along that no one understood. It really riled Dan up, when he wanted to just talk to her. Then her father decides to show up to take her back to Mexico and she refuses. It’s hysterical when Dan jumps into the fray between daughter and father and what he does almost gets her going again until she remembers her father is there.
Great story, full of all kinds of things, and one you should not miss. I loved this story as I love this series and can’t wait for the next one.
Loved Rosa and Dan’s story!! I’ve been waiting for this one, and oh, it was worth the wait!!! Rosa had to find out that she was worthy of Dan’s of love, and when she finally did, wow!! Dan had made a few mistakes where Rosa was concerned, but finally she accepted him, and that he truly did love her, and would treat her as a woman in her own right, not as a possession.
I received a complimentary copy of this book, was not required to leave a review, and the opinion expressed is my own.
