Awesome book
Katarina is trying to meet “The One” but when her blind date doesn’t show up she decides to go home with the handsome cowboy at the bar but then kicks him out first thing in the morning.
Braxton works at Bishop Ranch and is shocked when he is rudely kicked out by the girl he met at the bar but when she shows up at the Ranch 6 months later with her gluten free muffins he is shocked.
Soon a “war of revenge” erupts between Katarina and Braxton and will either give way to how they truly feel?
This is a quick fun read that had me laughing quite a book when Kat and Braxton were at war.
I liked Kat but I knew she was really denying how she felt about Braxton right from the start. I give her credit for being so creative and I laughed so hard with the things she did to Braxton!
I really liked Braxton and I understood why he was so hurt and mad after Kat kicked him out as he knew that the two of them had so much instant chemistry. I laughed at the things that he did to Kat but I think she definitely one upped him!
The parking lot scene was awesome and so overdue!!
The end was great and I was happy for how it all turned out!
Good read
And back to the Circle B Ranch we go! And I love it! 5 stars for this one!
Meet Katarina, trying online dating and not doing well, as she waits for her date to show up, and he doesn’t, she has the pleasure of meeting Braxton, and decides what the heck, and takes him home. Only to awake the next morning in complete horror at what she’s done, asks him to leave, figures she will never see him again. Until she does when delivering her gluten free baked goods to the B & B. The jokes these two play on each other will have you cracking up!
Read along and enjoy their story!
Hey when you get freaky with a sexy cowboy that you just met blame it on the tequila and vodka and then kick him out after said freakiness let the games begin That’s how Braxton and Kat’s story began and it only got better as the story unfolded. I loved every part of this story. I’ve read Kennedy Fox books so I knew that this one was going to be great. It was laughed out loud funny and sexy. That’s a great combination. The pranks that Braxton and Kat pulled on each other were childish but oh so funny. It reminded me of elementary kids who were mean to each other because they secretly liked each other. All of the characters were funny to read about. Read this book because it was a delightful treat. Until next time y’all happy reading.
Short, funny and very sexy
Quick, sexy read. Loved every banter and every prank they made to each other and that was really funny and enjoyable read. I’m glad that after listening this as an audio on the podcast I had a chance to read an electronic version with additional scenes and an extended epilogue. That really made me happy to see how the story finished.
Roping the Cowboy, first book in the Circle B Ranch series. It’s a fast paced romance. A sweet enemies to lovers short story.
It’s filled with family, love and laughter. A typical Kennedy Fox book!
I have to admit, this was not my favorite Kennedy Fox book. I can dig a bit of stubborn back and forth between the main characters (I do enjoy a good enemies to lovers story), but Braxton and Kat (Kat more than Braxton) worked my nerves with their antics. They pulled childish (and low-key dangerous) pranks on each other for no good reason and I just wasn’t a fan of that behavior. However, their story is sexy, the chemistry between them is palpable, and Kennedy Fox’s writing is addicting so in the end this cowboy gets 3 out of 5 wine glasses.
Katrina is making fresh baked healthy muffins and pastries for the B & B, her bakery is really taking off and the only thing missing in her life is a man. When she is stood up at the Honky Tonk Bar a sexy, handsome Cowboy comes to the rescue. Little does Kat know is that Braxton .. aka Sexy Cowboy .. will become the hot looking thorn in her side .. EVERY MORNING !!
After one night with Katrina Braxton knows she is something special but when she throws him out the next morning he swears off ALL woman because ALL he can think about is HER !! When they both realize they are going to be seeing a lot more of each other they don’t know how to handle that so they both resort to pranking each other and pranking they do !! You won’t be able to stop laughing .. OUT LOUD !!
The Love and Hatred in this installment is off the charts !! Can they get along or will the pranks so to far ??
Can’t wait and HOPE there is more in this series !! Love seeing the Bishops and now the extended family !!
I loved being back at the Bishop Ranch.
With these characters there is a thin line between hating and loving each other. They start out with a one night stand that leads to them hating each other. However, is it really hating each other or avoiding their true feelings. Kat and Braxton play some really dirty jokes on each other that may have gone a little to far but in the end they realize that their feeling are real and that they can’t avoid them any longer.
Like all Kennedy Fox books their is a passion like no other that they characters have. They also have a way with the characters not really liking/getting along with each other but in the end they know their true feelings win out.
I know this was a novella but really wish that it would have been longer because you can never have enough of the guys/family of the Bishop Ranch (Circle B Ranch).
I have loved and missed those Bishops and the Circle B ranch so I jumped at reading more from the Ranch.
I loved this story. It was a quick, funny, steamy read. The banter between Braxton and Kat was entertaining and hilarious mixed in with their pranks. There is a seriously fine line between love and hate. They become unofficial enemies when feelings are hurt after a one night stand.
The chemistry between these two is electrifying and just waiting for that small spark to set off the inferno that’s building. They just have to admit their feelings and stop the insults and making each other feel bad.
Whilst I loved Braxton, even when I wanted to slap upside his head for stupidity, I struggled slightly connecting with Kat, there was something about her I didn’t connect 100% with but I can’t put my finger on what. This is unusual as I always love Kennedy Fox’s characters.
If you love Kennedy Fox like me then you will love this Novella
Your typical Kennedy Fox book filled with heat, hates of passion and lots of love. It was so good to be back at the Bishop Ranch and get to see most of the other KF characters who live in Texas.
Braxton and Kat sure had fire in and outside the bedroom. Their story was short yes but fun as hell and Braxton wow, I never thought that man would be the type to get heartbroken but he sure did surprise me.
Kat well she took things to the extreme which I didn’t like but it made things funs and Braxton sure didn’t seem to mind much and sure liked to get payback. It made things interesting and well different. I didn’t really get why she acted the way she did on the night they met and then didn’t set things straight when they first saw each other again… things would have been so much easier but I guessed they wouldn’t have been half as fun and well we all enjoy a little bit of fun. The bonus content was something I was super excited for and although I loved it, I’m kind of disappointed that it was so short, I wanted and craved more and I think these two deserved it too.
Roping the Cowboy was a fun and cute ride that will leave your mouth watering for more and cupcakes! I want more of these two and more of the whole Circle B Ranch crew. I cannot wait to get my hands on more of these cowboys. I just really loving being in this fictional place Kennedy Fox created, a place that feels real when my head is emerged withing these pages.
I love that Kennedy Fox is able to continue the Bishop Ranch series after the books of the main characters with giving us the stories of the secondary characters that made those books so great. This is one of those – a novella that focuses on Braxton and Kat. After getting together once, these two end up like water and oil, but both their personalities are similar and soon prank wars ensue. Kat definitely took the prank wars to an extreme level; I swear that I had tears streaming from my eyes for how hard I was laughing! As the prank wars continued and escalated, the chemistry and feelings between the two continued to grow rapidly and eventually they decide to give into the desires they had. This is a short but total HEA storyline, and I was glad that this duo was able to give us the entire story of this couple (although I would have loved a full length book as well). Can’t wait to see if there will be more from these characters!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
4 Roped Stars!!!
Yaaass we’re back at the Circle B Ranch we’re we fell in love with the Bishop brothers, their ladies, families and the sexy Ranch hands. We’re introduced to Kat and Braxton in Falling For The Cowboy and it’s obv they hate each other but it’s never said why.
When Kat meets Braxton at a bar after getting stood up she enjoys her night tide up in Braxton’s body. When she wakes up the next day she freaks out and kicks him out of her house. Kat wants to pretend this night didn’t happen.
Braxton can’t believe Kat kicked him out of her house after the amazing night they spent together. But, whatever he doesn’t need her he can get any woman.
These two don’t want anything to do with each other. Too bad they’re stuck seeing each other every morning. Kat’s new bakery booked the Circle B Ranch with daily deliveries and that just happens to be where Braxton works.
Everyday these two insult each other. Until one day Kat decides to teach Braxton a lesson. Unfortunately it’s going to backfire on her bc it starts a prank war that she wasn’t ready for. Even through the horrible pranks the chemistry is hot and everyone around them can see it.
I felt bad for Braxton the whole time I was reading this. Kat was horrible to him from the very beginning of this book. I know they get over it but she doesn’t deserve it. Granted few times I was lol right along with Jackson.
This is a cute read though. I loved catching up with the Bishop guys and their ladies. Can’t wait to see which ranch hand is getting roped next.
Sexy, sweet and fun! Kennedy Fox delivers in this short and sassy read, Roping the Cowboy! Braxton and Kat had amazing chemistry and when they turned enemies, GAH! I loved all the pranks and the underlying sexual tension! This book was everything and I LOVED seeing the Bishop family again as well!
Loved this! Quick, easy, smoking hot summer read!
I loved me some Braxton and Kat! The unexpected connections. The fight against it.
LOVED it!
Highly recommend
Kennedy Fox
Kennedy Fox never fails to deliver tension and chemistry in her stories. Roping the Cowboy is a great example of this. Katarina wants to forget her one night with Braxton but he pulls out all the stops to prove to her otherwise. I loved reading their story and I can’t wait to read what this author has up her sleeve next.
Roping the Cowboy is a swoon-worthy, quick read! I enjoyed the extended new content and the epilogue is always my favorite part. Kat and Braxton have an undeniable connection, one that makes it even more enjoyable to watch them deny for as long as possible.
Roping the Cowboy by Kennedy Fox was a fun enemies to lovers romance that takes readers back to the Bishop Brothers world. This is a standalone and can be read as such. Kat and Braxton share a passionate and steamy one night stand that does not end well, to say the least. Now every time Kat runs into Braxton, she does all she can to avoid him and Braxton is having none of that. I absolutely loved their chemistry, their witty banter and their crazy interactions that are over the top and will have you laughing. This was a quick and fun read.
Happy reading!
Loved Braxton and Kat. The chemistry between these two was off the charts. This sweet little country girl had me laughing out loud and Braxton gave just as good This was my first RMR novella and I LOVED IT! The additional chapters and epilogue were just perfect! As always Kennedy Fox doesn’t disappoint and will have you in all your feels from page 1.
