Rule #1: Don’t let your ex move in with you.Rule #2: Don’t have sex with your ex.Rule #3: Don’t fall asleep hugging a turkey leg.I woke up to an empty apartment and things just got worse from there. My roommate took everything even my epic purple couch. Rent coming due means I’m desperate, but not desperate enough for Travis freaking Westmister to live with me. That is, until my brother convinces … until my brother convinces me his best friend and my mortal enemy is his only hope.
Now the man I gave my v-card to before he disappeared is parading around my house shirtless, toned, tanned and ripped.
Oh, God, I will not go there. He broke my heart and I hate his guts.
Except, he’s not who I thought he was at all.
Now I can’t cross the line because then I won’t have a roommate plus me and my virginity hate him.
Don’t we?
**Complete standalone with a happily ever after. Don’t miss out on all the gooey goodness this book has to offer.**

While I love these authors, and I hate to say this… this book just didn’t do it for me. I didn’t feel like I connected with the characters. I wish that there as more buildup of their personalities and their relationships with other people. I would’ve liked to know how old they were, what the age gap was, and more of their backstory than just they were secretly together before it all fell apart.
I also wished Nina’s relationship with Sloan was more dimensional. She only talked to her when she wanted to vent but never listened to Sloan’s advice. I was also confused about how they were best friends and seemed to talk all the time but Sloan didn’t know about her roommate stealing her stuff or Travis moving in for weeks. Sloan seemed like she could’ve been a great supporting character if we knew more about her and got more of their friendship.
I did like the concept of the book and could’ve liked it more if there was more depth to it.
This is such a great series. I just love Travis and Nina. Travis is back home to help his dad out and needs a place to stay. Nina’s roommate left and took everything and Nina needs someone to help with the rent. Grady is Nina’s brother and has the perfect plan. Travis can be Nina’s roommate since that is the only person he trusts to be around Nina. However, he doesn’t know their past. They decide on one month and see how it goes. During the first month things are a little awkward between them. This book had me laughing out loud and shaking my head. You want to tell them to knock it off and communicate. This is a great story about second chances and I loved all the characters. This was a seer and funny romance. These two are both crazy perfect for each other. They still have a connection that neither can deny and their chemistry is hot. You don’t need to read the other books to understand this one.

When Nina’s roommate leaves her stranded and moves out she is potentially going to be evicted until her brothers best friend, Travis, is back in town and he thinks it’s a win win for him to move in with his sister but he had no idea about there secret past so when she finds about his genius idea she’s beyond irritated about it but doesn’t have much of a choice and that’s when the fun begins lol

What’s this book about? (I’m trying to give as little spoilers as possible)
Nina and Travis have a history that they’ve long left behind. Until Nina’s crazy roommate steals most of her stuff & vanishes from the face of the earth. Now, Nina finds herself in an intricate predicament. Desperate to pay her bills, she allows Travis to move in with her and old flames start rekindling.
I like the Beck & Hallman duo a lot, so I’m always up for the challenge when they bring out a new book. Having read Babies & Promises, I sort of knew what to expect. However, these two stories are different in themes. Miscommunication plays a big role here and it’s kind of exciting to watch it all unfold. I enjoyed this read! It was a page turner and it was entertaining as hell! Travis was adorable, tbh. I felt more sorry for him than for her and she was just as heartbroken or even more than Travis LOL
Nina’s brother Grady was cute. His involuntary match-making talents were hilarious.
On another note, I only wished to have found out why Nina’s roommate was such a weirdo? I hope I didn’t miss it, but I think I didn’t see further comments on her.
This was an enjoyable light second chance read that had delightful characters with steamy chemistry!
Roommates & Thieves is a light, brother’s best friend read that gives you all the feels.
Travis and Nina have insane chemistry.
Nina is a little awkward but I LOVE that about her. She’s goofy, quirky, and nerdy but still makes Travis drool at her feet.
Travis is Nina’s brothers best friend and a secret ex of Nina’s. He’s hot, sweet, and totally swoon worthy.
This read made me smile, laugh, almost throw my phone, but in the end, I loved Nina and Travis.
This is an amazing and wonderful story that will keep you laughing and cheering them on. Nina’s roommate decides to sneak away after stealing all of Nina’s things and leaving her to pay the rent alone. Her brother, Grady, finds what he thinks is the perfect solution when his friend, Travis, comes back to town and has no place to live. He brings him over to Nina’s without telling her who her new roommate will be, and the “fur flies”. Because Grady doesn’t know about their past relationship and bad breakup, she allows him to stay on as her roommate. Will they ever talk and realize the miscommunication? Can they forgive the past and work on a future?
I really enjoyed this book. The story line was good, well-paced, the characters charming and fun. Grab your copy and enjoy a sweet, fun rebuilding of what could turn into a delightful second chance.
What a fantastic second chance romance! Nina and Travis have a history that’s not a good one. Her roommate left and she needed rent money, so when her brother brings Travis over to be her roommate she reluctantly lets him stay. Will living together bring their feelings back?
This book was fantastic! It was a sweet, sexy story full of drama, heat, misunderstandings, second chances and romance. Jenna has delivered another fantastic book in the Breaking The Rules series! If you love a sweet, funny second chance romance you need to read Roommates and Thieves. I’m sure you’ll love it too!
This book was so so so cute!!! I was bummed how miscommunication separated them but I think the universe needs to separate them for them to grow, find themselves then bring them back together. I really loved their story and how it related back to rhetts story. Big big fan of it !

Communication is the key in this book. There was so many miscommunications in this book, I truly felt sorry for these characters. Not only that but, they both needed to mature some before they actually tried to have a relationship. I enjoyed the banter and all the laughable situations. I am so glad that everything was completely explained for all the misunderstandings and the reasons why Nina and Travis both felt hurt and betrayed by one another. In the end this book really came together and gave the reader what they been hoping for from the very beginning.

Terrific brother’s best friend, second chance romance
Travis and Nina have a past. After one night that should have bean a beginning, they broke each other’s hearts. Neither is sure why the other pulled away and stomped their hearts but now that Travis is back it sure was fun to watch them figure it out.

3 1/2*
Nina’s roommate has left taking everything except her bed! Her brother Grady is trying to help so when his best friend returns home he suggests Travis take the room.
Travis & Nina have history he broke her heart and left suddenly.
Travis needs the room but is trying not to make the same mistake letting her use him.
A nice story that shows things are not always as they seem.

Misunderstandings at it’s best
Cute but predictable
3.5
It’s a good romance, well written, sometimes quite funny, but whose story and intrigue are quite simple.
Nina discovers that her ex-roommate robbed her on leaving, and she quickly needs a new roommate. Her brother suggests his best friend Travis to her, but he doesn’t know that they have had an adventure in the past that abruptly stopped, and that this deal does not bode well. The two know something, despite a reminder of attraction, they do not want and cannot dive back into this relationship.

This awesome book was well written and the characters were so well created that as I turned the pages Nina and Travis lured me right into their journey as it effortlessly unfolded!
I loved this funny and touching romance. I thought that this story was very cute. Nina and Travis were quite likable and I enjoyed their banter, chemistry and attraction. The emotions, drama and angst run deep in this book as this couple has some real work to do to move beyond past hurts and mistakes. A wonderful blend of steamy and sweet makes this read a true delight.
FUN & WITTY!
Entertaining fun and witty flowed through the pages keeping laughs smirks and silly smiles on my face. This story has all the requirements in a fantastic well written read. It’s got heart, tugs at your heartstrings, endless fun filled entertainment, sass, steamy chemistry and page turning storyline that pulls you in enjoying the craziness from beginning to end.
I wouldn’t say this was a comedy as such as there were no lol moments for me however if you like a second chance tale about your brothers friend who becomes your room mate you’ll enjoy this.
Ninas room mate did a runner with all her things so when Travis comes back home to help his dad being a roomie with her is an obvious choice, until she gets back on her feet.
The chemistry is still there but I did find at times Travis was a bit of a bumbling idiot, while Nina seemed to have matured a bit.
A ok read but there’s plenty of tales like this around.

When Nina let her quirky roommate move in she never thought she would wind up losing everything to her one day down the road… but that is exactly what has happened. The little traitor packed her bags, along with all of Nina’s things and bailed without word. Now Nina is left with a full month’s looming and an empty apartment. She needs a new roommate and fast… good thing her brother has the perfect plan!
When her brother suggests she let his best buddy move in with her she immediately vetoes the idea, the last thing she wants is to be living alongside the man who broke her heart years ago. There is no way she can open her door to Travis again… or can she?
Roommates and Thieves is a heart-melting tale that will have you smiling and swooning throughout! Nina is desperate, and well, desperate times calls for desperate measures, and letting your ex move in with you is pretty darn desperate! Watching this little reunion was thoroughly entertaining and good on the heart… these two were quite the pairing! It wasn’t an instant love reunion, there were old hurts to be sorted out, misunderstanding to be righted, and a forgiveness to happen first. But once that all took hold, then the true magic happened… the steamy, blush spawning kind. I have no doubt that this second chance romance is going to be a hit with readers, it’s pages come brimming with everything necessary to leave them thoroughly satisfied!! Highly recommend!

*Spoiler Alert*
High school lovers Nina (FMC) and Travis lose touch with each other when Travis moves away. Due to misunderstandings and complications. So when Nina needs a roommate and her brother recommends Travis, living with him doesnt seem like a great prospect. Omg these two characters do love to dance around each other and its damn right hilarious to read. Nina having her hair cut off lol. Just mortifying! Comedy one liners go to Nina’s friend Sloan. She definitely needs her own book. That would be a hot read. Back to this book though and i totally loved it

This was an ok read for me, this book didn’t click with me as much as I would’ve liked, I couldn’t ‘get’ the story as much as I thought it would, cause the synopsis really got my attention.
