A great love story in the making that I just wanted to hurry them along and make them see how suited they were to each other. I laughed and cried and at times wanted to slap the stupid out of them both. To read a realistic love story was refreshing with all the normal, good, bad and ugly bits thrown in, it was great to see it work out so well in the end.
I thought this would be humorous, it really wasn’t. I found Zoey to be wishy washy and an over the top drama queen; yes she did eventually grow up at the very end but it took forever for her to get there. Her ex BF Jess wasn’t just and a–hole, he was abusive but no one called him that which was annoying. I really didn’t like Drew all that much either he had so many issues that he swung back and forth from being somewhat reasonable to being abusive himself in the way he treated his girlfriends. Both these characters were so messed up I came close to tossing the book but stayed to the end in hopes things would get better. I really need to stop doing that.
I am not even gonna bother to read the next two stories if they are anything like the first, no thanks.
Loved all three stories – will read again.
This was cute and funny book. I loved the characters and how their story developed. Great roommate romance books.
I received a free copy of this book for my honest review.
Roomie Wars
Wow, I was at a lost for words on this story, I was lost in Zoey and Drew’s world. The author once again blew my mind with her writing and getting these characters out on paper. I was amazed at this story. I couldn’t keep off the edge of my seat. Zoey is this caring, strong independent young woman with a quirky attitude on life, as much as I wanted to smack her towards the end of the story I so could have hugged her in the end. Drew huge manwhore, caring and daring. The risk he takes over Zoey had me rereading the same lines over and over. Drew and Zoey’s chemistry was over the moon great. They were hott and cold every time u turned around. once I reached the end I wanted more and craved more of this story. Yes I got a book hangover and it was so worth it over and over. MUST READ 5 star story, you’ll be amazed and at the writing and characters. The story is full of life and laughs, makes for a wonderful humorous romance one you don’t want to end.
Wedding Wars
omg omg omg, this story wow. I so am not kidding this story pretty much takes off seems like a few months after Roomie Wars ended, they flow is perfect the characters are even better as before, maybe that’s cause I know who they are and loved them all over again. The author has done an amazing job getting all the right emotions in all the right spots, making you crave more also at the right spots, I found myself not able to put it down for very long at all. It’s a short story that will blow your mind. By the end of the story everything take a shift and that is one shocker you don’t want to miss at all, take my word on that I wont tell you what happens between Drew and Zoey, just know you have to read this story. The ending has sucked me in and left me craving more and more. I was happy how it ended with a small**spoiler alert** surprise that was even more amazing and has of course left me wondering , lots of wondering but so worth it in the end.
Baby Wars
Bring on the happiness, I say this lightly Zoey an Drew still have one hell of a journey to go on but it’s totally worth it in the end. This story really makes it all come together the whole series and makes you want to read it all over again. Bonus seems like 2 new characters are in the mix and Im hoping fingers crossed hoping we get to know them more. This story had the wow factor and banter between characters stayed the same the flow of the story really blew my mind like always. Had some funny moments in this story I couldn’t help but lol alot. MUST READ
Roomie Wars Boxed Set – Kat T Masen
Roomie Wars
Roomie Wars is the story of Zoey Richards and Andrew Baldwin.
Zoey is in a predicament and has to get a new roommate, so after an exhaustive search, interviewing every crazy and loser around and passing on the far too libido teasing hot guy, she settles for the slightly chubby, glasses wearing, Sponge Bob shirt wearing, med student, Andrew Baldwin.
They set some Roomie Rules and boundaries and their lives seem simple and settled but Zoey’s poor choices in men are the bane of Andrew (Drew’s) existence. They go from drama to drama, hilariously at times but through it all, their bond as friends never falters.
Wedding Wars
Wedding Wars follows on from Roomie Wars where we were introduced to Zoey and Drew.
Their unconventional romance has progressed and it’s with baited breath that we are privy to Drew’s proposal to Zoey, in the only way fitting suitable to this sweet odd couple. That is with Pizza boxes and pineapples.
Not everything goes well as wedding plans get underway and they each become overwhelmed with work, life and personal stresses not to mention Zoey’s zany antics as she sets about planning her perfect wedding, without being a bridezilla.
Baby Wars
Baby wars brings us to the joyous news of Drew and Zoe’s impending delivery into parenthood but not without the usual amount of crazy that we’ve come to count on from this cast of characters.
Zoey’s more outer than inner monologue is again, hilarious. Poor Drew just has to tolerate her crazy even more now that there’s added hormonal interference.
A sweet, sexy, funny love story, now complete with an honest, real and emotional ending that will definitely satisfy your HEA craving.
Love these characters and appreciate the wonderful lightness Kat T Masen brings to their story, while still keeping it real and grounded.
I love Zoey and Drew! This box set showcases their friends to lovers story with so much realism it’s like reading a story about two friends. The first story Roomie Wars is how they met and the trials they went through to be together. While reading Wedding Wars, I felt it really depicted every couples troubles and relationship issues… jealousy, humor, fun, laughter, stress, love! And Baby Wars wraps up the set with just as much realism! As a wife and mom of two, everything about this story was perfect!
Roomie Wars
Kat has once again outdone herself with this book!! I am a big fan of the whole roomie romance genre but Kat’s has went above and beyond and was definitely one of my favorites! You will fall in love with Zoey and Drew from the first moment you meet them and the banter they have between them as they navigate through their friendship and the feelings that unexpectedly start growing between them. Roomie Wars was an original, sweet, emotional, angsty, and at times infuriating read but it will hold your attention and have you sitting at the edge of your seat from start to finish. It was very well written with multi dimensional characters and a very original emotional angsty story line that will keep you captivated and one you will not soon forget.
Wedding Wars
After reading Roomie Wars and hearing that Zoey and Drew were getting another book, I jumped at the chance to read this and it didn’t disappoint!! I loved their quirky, hilarious, sweet friends to lovers romance and this was the perfect continuation as they take the next step towards their forever: wedding planning. Wedding Wars was super angsty and about gave me an anxiety attack the whole way through. I had no clue where this story was going and it had me captivated and on the edge of my seat the whole way through till I was left wanting more of these two!!
This story was quirky, funny, and sweet like Roomie Wars, but Kat threw in some real heart tugging, honest, serious moments that will leave you heavy hearted. She developed both these characters in a real, honest way, as they both questioned their feelings and thoughts towards their future together. This book had me shouting at them to get their acts together but then in the next moment wanting to reach in and hug them close and give them comfort. I love these two even more now after reading this book and I really hope they get another book!!!
Baby Wars
I was really excited to find out that Drew and Zoey were getting another book! With Drew being an exceptionally smart surgeon and Zoey’s 80’s obsession, these two are seriously two of my favorite characters! This short and sweet novella naturally takes us into the next steps of their relationship, which after marriage, is pregnancy and babies. Going in this journey with them from roommates to best friends to spouses to parenthood has been a hilarious, wonderful, yet emotional adventure. I loved watching them enter each of these new stages in their lives and I felt like I was right there alongside them. I devoured this book in one sitting; it was just that good!! These two have a way of sucking you in…in the best way possible. This was an excellent conclusion to their story and I couldn’t have asked for a better ending.
If you haven’t read this series yet, I highly recommend it!! I wish I could rate it more than 5 stars; that’s how much I love Zoey and Drew.
Roomie Wars: Talk about a slow … Roomie Wars was a hilarious mix of one liners, 80’s references & whole lotta… Will they? Won’t they? This was my first read from Kat. T. Masen but it will most definitely not be my last!
Wedding Wars: Zoey and Drew are back and their GETTING MARRIED! These two are just so relatable, hilarious & real…This was one heck of an emotional roller coaster ride that had me once again wondering…Will they? or Won’t they? I loved this story and I can’t wait to find out what will happen next with these two.
Baby Wars: Gosh I just LOVE these two on their next adventure to becoming parents. Zoey and Drew are simply hilarious & I loved spending a little more time with them.
Honestly, going on this journey from roommates… to husband & wife and then to parents with Zoey & Drew has been a hilariously wonderful adventure. I devoured this box set. These two just suck you in..in the very best possible way. There are so many layers to each part of their journey; their story and I could not have loved It more!
Roomie Wars
Zoey gets left unexpectedly without a roommate so after looking for a new one she settles with Andrew, a slightly chubby, shy trainee doctor with little self confidence but a great personality.
Fast forward four years and they’re both different people.
Andrew, now known as Drew, has lost his puppy fat, got a load of confidence and is quite the ladies man. Zoey on the other hand is not doing so well. Dealing with a broken heart has thrown her into a slump. She’s piled weight on, lost her ambition and is stuck just existing. So best friend/roomie Drew decides a day at the beach is what’s in order…..and then Zoey has an accident and things start getting weird between them. Throw in an ex boyfriend, a ridiculous plan at revenge and the sudden return of Zoey’s ambition, all while trying to hide how they’re really feeling, and things are bound to get a little uncomfortable for the roomies.
I loved the characters in this book. Most of us have been Zoey at some point. We’ve had our hearts broken, self esteem squashed but we’ve bounced back…like she’s trying to do. She’s sweet, funny and loyal. Drew *swoon* is your typical man. Not realising what he’s got until he nearly loses it, he struggles with his feelings and it makes him all the more sweeter for it.
The chemistry and banter between them is great and I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
Wedding Wars
A year on from Roomie wars and Drew and Zoey are now in a stable, happy relationship. More in love than ever, Drew proposes….And it all starts to go downhill from there.
Zoey is still her 80’s obsessed, hilarious, chatterbox self. With a wedding to plan, she starts developing signs of turning into a Bridezilla. Poor Drew is over worked, stressed, running out of patience and feeling pushed out as Zoey gets more involved with planning what was supposed to be a small wedding. With their relationship falling apart, temptation been thrown in front of them both and some serious doubts rearing their heads, Drew and Zoey are in for a rough, and sometimes funny, ride.
I loved Drew in this book. Honestly the man’s just perfect. Hot, sexy, a doctor…what more do I need to say?
Baby Wars
Things change again for my favourite couple in Baby Wars. Drew deserves a medal or something for the amount of patience he has with Zoey and her crazy mind. This book further cements Drew as the most perfect man ever.
I’ve been a huge fan of these two characters from the start and really enjoyed this Box Set.
Roomie Wars
Roomie Wars what a fantastic book, I absolutely loved everything about it, it was so entertaining I just didn’t want to put it down and it was the exact book I needed to read.
Drew was such an awesome character; I loved the way Kat T. Masen wrote this character. It was how I feel males are, how they act and how they think. He was entertaining and I loved how he didn’t start the book as your hot male character straight away.
Zoey was a great character to read, she was funny, lovable, and again she was just your typical female and Kat really captured how a women thinks and how we all go through the, let’s sit on the couch and eat and watch tv (I think I am still going through that stage)
The connection between the two characters was intense and you could feel that pouring out the pages and they were so engaging I loved everything about these two, one of my favourite couples. The banter and bond these too had were so evident and I loved the way the author portrayed it
I loved how this book just kept you reading one minute it was yes they are going to get together, then thier not and you just need to keep reading to see what happens and I love that it a book. I also loved how the 80’s were incorporated into this book I am a big music buff and really loved this side of the novel and made me connect so well to the book. The Pineapples as well were a fantastic inclusion and if it’s true about luck I am going out to get me some ha ha
This was such a fantastic book, if you’re looking to cry, laugh, want to punch your kindle and scream and talk sense into the characters then this is your book. Friends to lovers at its best
Cannot wait to get into their novella which comes out soon, I will be one clicking that little bugger no doubt about it.
Wedding Wars
Normally I won’t go into the next book or novella straight away but with Zoey and Drew I just couldn’t help but dive straight into Wedding Wars, thank you Kat T Masen for giving me an early copy.
Wow what a novella , absolutely perfect I didn’t want to put it down to the point I raced home from work to finish it. There was just so much packed into this novella and it just made it seem so quick I just want to go back and read both books again already.
This was such a roller coaster, there was some awesome highs and really terrible lows and I was laughing at one point and then crying the next but that’s what makes a great book to make me feel like this.
Zoey and Drew are the most frustrating, loveable, annoying but beautiful couple I just love their story and again one of my favourite couples. I loved how it showed the struggle of everyday life, work getting in the way and how much stress there is to organise a wedding.
What I liked about this book was the grass can be greener on the other side but be grateful for what you have and don’t let anything get in between or think that there is anything better around the corner. That the person who you fall in love with isn’t always who you expect but grab it with two hands.
Loved loved loved this book make sure you read Roomie Wars first and do yourself a favour and one click these 2 books you won’t regret it.
Baby Wars
I must admit I was secretly really excited to get back into the story of Zoey and Drew. With Drew being all smart and having all his doctor talk and Zoey’s obsession with the 80’s these characters have to some of my all time favourite.
This Novella takes us to the next step in their relationship so naturally after being married we get the kid. What I love about this novella is there is so much more to there story than the 2.5 family and that’s what I love about them.
You won’t regret reading this if you are fan of this series this novella ticks all the boxes.
If you have not read this series yet then this is the best chance in this boxset you will not be disappointed at all
Massive 5 stars for this
