They had always been R & B, the couple most likely to make out in the back of a theater and make it to their golden anniversary. But their “perfect” relationship had just been a mirage, and when their future evaporated like water in the Nevada desert, they went their separate ways. Yet neither ever really moved on.Now they’re just Rayna and Benton, two people doing a favor for each other in … other in the name of the good times they once shared. When fate steps in and thrusts them together at a roadside motel—it’s divine intervention. However, neither knows how to start heading forward while leaving the past behind them.
With the help of a lonely Nevada highway, a broken drive shaft, a room with one bed, and two meddling motel owners, can a couple meant to be together but dragging some pretty hefty baggage get a second chance at first love?

Rayna and Ben were college sweethearts until their trust was tested and they failed. Neither has moved on so when fate throws them together along with the help of the matchmaking hotel owners will they be able to work through the misunderstandings of the past and have their second chance?
Short and sexy this story doesn’t disappoint.

A book in the Last Resort Motel series, this is Rayna Beth Wilson, and Benton James Davis’s story it is a short quick read. This is a book I found myself smiling throughout. This is a second chance story and tells what brought their split up in the first place there are insecurities, mistrust, and miscommunication but now because of a broken drive shaft and a one bed room if they can get past everything that tore them apart they will get their happy ending. I want to read the other books in this series.

Last Resort – brings the magic of love & second chances
This was my first Last Resort read. I liked it so it won’t be my last. This story was about second chances. Rayna & Ben end up at The Last Resort through a short series of mishaps. They loved each other once, they still love each other now but events pulled them apart. Their visit brings them together but also brings up the pain of what happened. This heart wrenching, heart healing story had my emotions going. Romantic & sexy. Good read.
This was a short but sweet and oh so HOT story. The Last Resort Motel has what Ben and Ray needed and the room they were in was so funny but just what they needed. This is a story about second chances and what insecurities, mistrust, and miscommunication does to a relationship. Once they got past that and truly believed in each other is when they were able to move forward. I only wish there would have been an epilogue to see into their future and how everything turned out.

Room 15: Last Resort Motel by Verlene Landon a five-star read that isn’t the last resort. I love this type of collection, seeing where the individual authors take the stories from one base point and make it their own. Rayna and Benton are such lovely characters, and they both struggle with the past, would you be able to ignore fate? This motel just seems to bring the best out of people, showing us just how good a second chance can be, and this story was sublime.
What if you had a second chance to be with your first and only love? Would you take advantage of circumstances to do it? Would you get motel owners to help you? Ray wanted Ben back in her life, and they’re given the perfect opportunity. Fate plays a big hand, but so do the owners of the Last Resort Motel. Ray and Ben finally work out what went wrong between them, and get their HEA. They had growth as individuals from their time apart, and with small glimpses of how they were as a couple before they broke up really showed that. A great quick read, with some sexy fun.
I loved this short second chance romance. Ben and Rayna both made mistakes in the past to cause their relationship to fail. Then Ben asks Ray for a favor. Ray accepts and goes along. Both are dying to rekindle their flame but suppress it thinking the other doesn’t. After a breakdown and more white lies, will they both confess and start new? Read Room 15 to find out. It’s definitely worth your time.
