This was my first time reading this authors work and a great start to a new series. This was a sweet story about first love and being yourself. Madeline has always played it safe and done what she is suppose to. She is starting her last year of college and what may be her last year of freedom. She wasn’t expecting Jackson the sexy quarterback. He was perfect for her and now she just has to decide if she can have him and be herself. I really enjoyed Jackson and Madeline’s story and can’t wait to read more from this author.
This book reads like a Hallmark movie and more. What would You do if your family had picked out your husband but there was no chemistry between you besides friendship? Not only that he was already working in the family business like it was set in stone that y’all would be together forever? Fate steps in and sends a sexy football playing quarterback to the shake things up. Rookie is actually Madeline and Jackson is the college Quarterback and this romance is one I think will go in my re-read shelf. It is so good!

Rookie in Love by Sarah White is so fluffy!! I live for the fluffy romances with no drama or crazy exes. Rookie in Love is so freaking awesome that I finished it in like an hour. It is a short read and you will love it from beginning to end.
Madeline has made up her mind that she is going to do what her family wants, marry and put on a smile. It does not matter that she does not love the guy, she just wants to make her family happy. Throw in Jackson who makes her feel things that she has never felt before and she begins to second guess her decision. When Madeline is on a three-week break from her boyfriend Greg, she spends all that time with Jackson. Normally, I would say this is cheating but, come on, they are on a break.
What I loved the most about Rookie in Love was that it was drama free! It is an easy-going read, with fluff, romance, wooing, you name it. There is no angst, thank goodness. The characters are not forced. They have chemistry and they have the spark. When an author can write like that, it is so wonderful. There is no angry “boyfriend”, Greg is actually a likable guy.
You are reading about a girl finding not only herself but her voice, her happiness. Rookie in Love is by far the best fluffy romance I have read in a long time.
Loved this story of following your heart and not what your family expects you do. Maddy was dating the perfect gentleman, at least that is what her family thought. Maddy loved him but not really loved him. Then meeting Jackson, the quarterback on the football team, there was an instantaneous connection, But now she needs to decide what she needs to do.
Maddy and Jackson were just perfect, an explosive chemistry between them. Jackson was so patient with Maddy. My favorite line, “Once you accept how much you love someone and surrender to that, all decisions get easier.” This is my first book my this author and will be looking for more.
A short sweet read. Loved Jackson from the start. Took me awhile to warm up to Maddy but by the end, she won me over. Look forward to more books on this series.

This is my first book by this author and it won’t be the last because I really enjoyed Rookie in Love.
I loved the characters and the storyline it drew me in from the first chapter and kept me interested to the very last line. The hero is a cool, rough loveable jock who knows how to charm the ladies but underneath his cool bad boy image is a loveable guy who when he falls he falls big….
This is a quick entertaining fun hot read it will make you smile it will make you swoon and it has the perfect mix of humour, passion and angst, it’s easy to read and the story flows really well. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
Madeline and Jackson’s love story in Rookie in Love by Sarah White was truly enjoyable. Hotel heiress Madeline Stone has lived the life of the perfect, good girl since the death of her mother; allowing her father and brothers to dictate the life she’s been living. She is afraid of making waves or living life like a normal college coed. That is until she accidently encounters the college’s sexy quarterback, Jackson Rider, after celebrating her birthday. Jackson enjoys life, living it to the fullest, unlike Madeline. Jackson makes Madeline feel alive and reckless, tempting her to enjoy life and stand up for herself. Jackson would not check any of the boxes for Madeline’s life plan, set by her family, but she has suddenly developed new goals and dreams for herself. With Jackson’s love and encouragement Madeline just might find that happy ever after.
I admired how strong Madeline was but worried about the expectations her family demanded of her. I loved that Jackson taught her how to live life to the fullest before her anxieties caused her to retreat and bow to her brother’s demands. In the long run, she needed to do what was best for her, not her brothers or father; it was her life to live and learn from any mistakes she might make.
Ms. White wrote a wonderful, sexy and emotional story that is not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with sexual chemistry, amusing banter, and endearing characters giving Madeline and Jackson a chance at having a true love. I highly recommend Rookie in Love to other readers.

What’s a girl to do?
Madeline Stone is torn between doing what’s right for her family and the family business and loving a man who has given her the kind of happiness that she has never known before.
Madeline is in a relationship with Greg, a man she doesn’t love, but she stays with him to please her family. Then, she meets Jackson Rider, a college football player who rocks her world. While Greg is out of town, Madeline and Jackson take their relationship to the next level. Nothing will ever be the same for Madeline again. But, Madeline’s family disapproves of the relationship and wants her to break up with Jackson and make things right with Greg. Madeline has a tough choice to make. Follow her heart or live the life her family has planned for her.
I really enjoyed this book. It was sweet and sexy and emotional all rolled into one. I can’t wait to read more from this author.
Madelyn annoyed me, she kept 2 guys on the hook til she discovered what she wanted which was supposed to be Jackson. But then when she has him is unsure yes, no I have to do what my family wants, I want Jackson, but I know Greg, making up issues with Jackson to hurt him… huh grow up…I dont know why any of them wanted her.
