SebastianAs the rookie at the fire station, the guys are constantly ragging on me. Can’t say I like it, but I get it. I’ve gotta earn my place. Then one night a pregnant woman shows up at the station in labor and there’s no time to bring her to the hospital. The events of that night finally gain me the respect of the guys at the station. But, more importantly, I’m introduced to a beauty who sets … to a beauty who sets fire to my heart: Eva, the sister of the woman whose baby I helped deliver.
The more I get to know Eva—lovely, witty, curvaceous Eva—the more I know she’s my one and only.
She has barriers up, though. Deep-seated ones.
So now it’s up to me to show her how serious I am when I say I want to be with her forever.
Eva
I’m completely in awe of the hunky firefighter who comes to my sister’s rescue the night she goes into labor.
And when he stops by a few days later to check on my newborn niece, I fall even harder for him.
But I’ve seen too many women get screwed over by guys, and I can’t help but be cautious around Sebastian.
Sebastian has promised me the world. But what if his words are just words?
I want to believe him, but is a happily-ever-after really possible?
Dear Reader,
Fire alert! This little hot instalove novella is about an alpha firefighter claiming his curvy woman. It can be read as a standalone, but is best enjoyed with the rest of the Lighting The Alpha’s Fire series. Get ready for a smokin’ hot hero, a sassy heroine, and a lovey-dovey happy ending!
xo,
Kate

Sebastian is the rookie of the firehouse. The others are always playing pranks on him. One night he wakes up hearing a knock at the station doors and ends up delivering a baby. He can’t seem to get the sister of the mother out of his mind. Eva has sworn off men because there just aren’t any that are reliable. But then Sebastian shows up at her door asking her out. Sebastian has a lot of convincing to do to make Eve his, but he’s determined to have a HEA

Sebastian’s brother is the station fire chief, but Seb’s the rookie, and the other guys have declared open season for pranks. Eva is not trusting of men due to her past. She’s a fundraiser for an abused women’s shelter. He delivers her sister’s baby in the firehouse, and checks on them a few days later. He asks her out, and she finally agrees. He pushes her out of her comfort zone on their dates, understanding that she’s still nervous being with him. This is a really nice book. Seb is so sweet, willing to take things slow to gain Eva’s trust, trying to convince her that he’s a good guy and not out to break her heart. She’s a sweet woman, and finds love as soon as she’s willing to trust him. I’m hoping for more stories in this series.

4.5 stars. This book has you hooked from the beginning page. The rookie, Sebastian, firefighter gets to do what the other firefighters haven’t done before. Then you have Eva who is a strong female character. You get an interesting romantic read. Plus love some of the pranks that are mentioned.

Sebastian maybe a rookie at the fire department, but as a boyfriend he is definitely an Ace.
Sebastian meets Eva when she tries to find help for her sister who is on the verge of delivering. After tracking Eva down, he convinces her on a date.
Skeptical Eva goes out with Sebastian, and even tells him her fears and lack of trust. Instead of turning away he does what he can to prove there is at least one.
“Oh, now my job is to prove to you that all men aren’t evil?”
“Just one will do.”
“Just one, huh?”
And boy does he prove his is Ace.
Rookie is a great quick read and is a great addition to.the Lighting the Alpha’s Fire series

The Baby Whisperer soothes his “Baby”
Sebastian is the younger brother of Fire Chief Matt. He has now been the “rookie” in the same firehouse and even though he has had to endure all of the pranks, which are still ongoing, he loves what he does. The opening scene in this story had me laughing so hard I fell in love with Seb immediately.
Eva works as a fundraiser for a women’s shelter and is more than “down on men”. With her history alone who could blame her, cheated on, lied to, dumped and used. But then add in the stories of the women that come through the shelter and her younger sister Grace’s current situation – pregnant by her boyfriend who first tried to get her to terminate and then terminated their relationship when she wouldn’t. So Eva has decided love and her are just not meant to be.
One night on the way home from seeing a movie Grace’s water breaks and Eva decides to stop at the firehouse when she sees it. Sebastian has woken up in the night for a pit stop and thinks he hears someone knocking on the door. When he opens it he sees a young woman who turns around and he is immediately floored by a gorgeous woman, is he dreaming? But he quickly sees another woman behind her doubled over and and very pregnant. What happens next is that Grace delivers the baby with the help of Sebastian who then loads her into the ambulance and drives them to the hospital, with Eva following behind.
The next day Sebastian stops by their apartment with the excuse of returning Eva’s wallet which he found outside the station. The baby is crying up a storm and with Seb’s “baby whisperer” skills he offers up his services bringing relief to everyone. On his way out he asks to take Eva out and after some thought she decides to agree. Thus starts their relationship.
This is a sweet, romantic, funny, fast-paced and nicely hot and sizzling story with wonderful characters. She is insecure and distrustful in so many ways but he recognizes this and is more than willing to prove himself and his feelings for her. Some previous characters pop in with some updates on them and we are also introduced to some new characters that I am hoping will have their own stories. Seb and Eva are two people that just fit.
Lighting the Alfa Fires is a new favorite of mine! I love these firefighters. This book is about the rookie, Sebastian who is also Matt’s younger brother and Eva. As the rookie, they do a lot of pranks on him all in good nature of course. Well one night he gets up to empty his bladder he hears a faint knock on the door outside, so he goes to check it out to find this beautiful woman standing right outside of it. When he opens the door to see how he can help, he realizes that she is with another woman who is pregnant and in labor. As your typical fireman, he jumps into action and starts to work on her to help her deliver this baby. Eva and her little sister are alone in the world as the father of her sisters’ baby didn’t want anything to do with it, so Eva is taking charge making sure she is not alone.
Sebastian has a way with babies, and he happens to visit them in her apartment when he finds a wallet that she must have dropped the night that they were there. The story takes off from there and I love how the story turns out, but he question is what are they going to do with Alex aka Torch as I’m hoping he is next and maybe with Eva’s younger sister Grace, bringing him down from his bad boy ways!

It’s pretty much love at first sight when Eva meets Sebastian. It’s only all her history of bad relationships and other life experiences that makes her put everything into slow motion. Their romance moves along with each of them developing deeper feelings. In spite of this, a situation arises that puts their relationship in question. But the couple rise to the occasion. Sweet, quick read.

Baby Whisperer
We were introduced to Sebastian in “Blaze” book one in this series. At that time he was only talking about becoming a firefighters. In this story he has become one but is still considered a rookie. That all changes on the night he delivers a baby. That isn’t the only thing that changes….Sebastian also meets the “one”. I recommend you find a quite place and let the “Baby Whisperer” talk to you

So, so good!! Firefighters are swoon-worthy no matter what situation they are portrayed in but when there is one that is also a baby charmer? Then he is Hot, Hot, Hot!! This is a short quick read that is funny, sweet, sexy, and continues the stories in the Lighting the Alphas Fire series by giving us the story of Sebastian and Eva. Great chemistry is shown between them and I really liked how there was no big drama or miscommunication or anything else that had the potential to keep them apart. Just a good natural progression to their HEA!

Here we have Sebastian, Matt’s little brother the baby whisperer lol, and Eva. Sebastian delivers Eva’s sisters baby at the firehouse one night. There’s instant attraction and even with some issues Eva has, they end up dating. Good chemistry, sweet yet steamy short read. Enjoying this series so far.

Book 3 in the Lighting the Alpha’s Fire series and I loved this book. Sebastian and Eva were so good together. Loved the instant chemistry and attraction. It was so hot. Sebastian was so swoon worthy with his magic baby calming touch. I think that my ovaries exploded. Can’t wait to read Torch’s story.

I love that we get Sebastian’s story and if you read Matt, he’s his younger brother. The story starts off being funny and quickly moves on to the sizzling chemistry between him and Eva. I love that there’s no angst or drama and it’s a sweet, sexy and short story.

Another great read from Kate Hunt. Sebastian, a rookie firefighter, meets Eva, a sexy curvaceous blonde who has trust issues due to all the horrible men that have passed through not only her life but those of the ones around her. Sebastian is charming and caring and soon Eva falls for him hard and fast. A great HEA and I highly recommend this quick read.

This is a sweet, heartwarming story. The characters are likable and lovable. Sebastian, firefighter, baby whisperer and Eva, sister to Grace, the pregnant woman who is ready to have her baby. Sebastian hears them knocking at the firehouse in the middle of the night. He delivers the baby. He goes back to their apartment to return Eva’s wallet and ask her out on a date. Their unexpected encounter begins a tender, first love, feel good romance. A very enjoyable read!

Sweet and steamy
Yet another great book from Kate Hunt. I cannot get enough of these stories about hot firefighters! I’m absolutely LOVING the instalove genre. Yes, it’s incredibly quick, but boy does it make for a good read!
This stars Sebastian and Eva. He is a rookie (well, he’s been there for a year) firefighter, and she rocks up to the station one night when her sister starts to go into labour. Seb safely delivers her niece and after checking up on them all, they start to see each other.
There is a very strong mutual attraction, but Eva is a little unsure at the start as she has trust issues with men – because of her sister’s situation, and where she herself works. Seb is able to convince her to give him a chance, and their relationships blossoms beautifully. He DID have my heart fluttering by chapter four! There are a few surprises, but things work out (very well) in the end. I give this four and a half stars, only because I’m desperate for more 😉

Sebastian is the rookie at the fire station. Eva has a really hard time trusting men. This was so good. This series is getting better and better. Love the characters, and their chemistry. Eva and Seb’s story is quick, sweet, witty, funny, steamy, and romantic. Ready to read the next one.

I loved this story of a rookie firefighter meeting the “one” while helping her sister. All of the characters in this story were great and relatable. There was very little angst and it resolves quickly.
Sebastian is the rookie at the fire station and the guys are pranking him as a way of welcoming him to the team. He understands it but doesn’t like it. Sebastian meets Eva when she brings her pregnant sister Grace, to the station because she’s in labor and they don’t have time to get to the hospital. After delivering Grace’s baby girl, he earns the respect of the guys at the station and a new nickname. Sebastian starts getting to know Eva and the more time they spend together, the surer he becomes that she’s the “one”. He knows that it’s up to him to show her how serious he is about wanting to be with her forever.
Eva is impressed by the firefighter that helped her sister. She is pleasantly surprised when he stops by their apartment to check on her niece. Eva wants to trust that Sebastian means what he says but working at a shelter and her own experiences make her cautious. Sebastian has promised her they will have a happy ever after, but is that even possible?
I got a kick out of the “baby whisperer”. Eva giving Sebastian a chance was unexpected when it happened, but awesome. Their first date sounded like a fun time. Them dating for a few weeks was great. I loved their happy ever after. I definitely recommend reading this book.
