“My life is shite, and more boring than an iced finger – it’s basically bread for goodness sake; where’s the cream? To top it all off my boss, Roman ‘The Ego’ Hepburn, hates me.”Summer James has suffered a devastating change to her life, one that could shape her future and to make matters worse she now has a new boss. Not such a major problem, some would think, but that boss is Roman Hepburn. … but that boss is Roman Hepburn. He’s rude, grouchy and impatient and has a damn fine ass!
Very quickly her feelings for the dark, brooding, Roman change and it soon becomes evident that some highly charged sexual tension has been bubbling under the surface, and Roman makes it clear that he intends to make Summer his.
Will Roman succeed in getting the girl, and if he does will he succeed in keeping the girl? Or will circumstances and Roman’s hilariously strange, but loveable family, send Summer tottering to the hills on her six inch heels?
This is a sexy, fun romance with some laugh out loud moments. Full of quirky characters, broody men and feisty women, it won’t leave you disappointed.

Uh! I have no words for how good Roman’s having sex again is. It was effing hilarious. Roman’s parents were a hoot and I wanted to beat the shit out of and shag Roman in equal measure, which is really what Summer wanted to do too, so that was fine. The twists, the name thing, the connections between everyone was all inspired. I lost two nights sleep over this bloody book. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Would I recommend it? Too right. What are you waiting for? Buy it. Read it. If you don’t you’ll end up a right miserable sod just like Roman was.
I listened to the audiobook and the narrator was excellent. She sounded like someone from Corrie and made me imagine the area around Manchester even more.
I’m sure if anyone witnessed me reading this book, they would have thought I was a mad woman, as I had a big cheesy smile on my face throughout. Nikki Ashton’s voice in her stories just makes her words addictive. The antics that her characters get up to, their banter and their emotions, just make you want to be their best friends. It was so entertaining, Summer and Roman’s chemistry is off the charts HOT, and this is a must-have book for your kindle!
Based on the title, I expected a story full of sex, but whilst things do happen between Roman and Summer, there wasn’t the passion and heat I expected. This story is definitely more about love, family, friendship and laughter. Whilst it wasn’t what I expected, I still devoured it in one sitting and enjoyed it from the first page to the last. It was packed with loveable characters who I’d jump at spending time with in real life if I had the opportunity. I also enjoyed the plot twist that I didn’t see coming. Nikki Ashton writes brilliant comedy and I’m sure I’ll come across plenty more laugh out loud moments as I continue to lose myself in her books…. I can’t wait!
A MOODY BUILDER AND A WOMAN WITH AN OBSESSION FOR DESIGNER SHOES.
What a brilliant combination of humour, hotness and story-line.
“One of these days I was going to crack my theory of being able to crack a nut on his beautiful arse”
I listened to Roman’s having sex again in audio and although at times I think it should have been called Roman’s in a mood again, I couldn’t get enough of these hilarious characters.
Roman was a moody builder having issues with contracts and Summer is his office PA but this is very much an office Romance with a difference.
There is only one negative and that is that I found it wordy too explanatory sometimes and it is a good length of a book with 50 chapters, I probably would have got bored at certain points had I been reading it but it worked in audio and the more wordy it was gave you a good idea of the settings etc for visual effects.
Brilliant, sexy and original. Set in the North of England, this audio was a refreshing change in a British accent, it took me a while to adjust to it as I listen a lot of audio which are normally in an American accent.
I laughed out loud many times but also loved the plot line and the twists and turns within Roman and Summer’s story.
Highly entertaining, Embarrassing parents, drama, angst and some swoon worthy moments, Romans having sex again is a highly recommended British Rom-Com.
Told in first person pov and has a heartwarming hea.
This book had me laughing so much I needed to put the book down to wipe my tears. This was my first Nikki Ashton book and it won’t be my last. Roman is you grumpy boss who yells and makes summer’s life miserable at work. But it’s not what you think, and then you meet his family, his parents are little bit off the wall but so much fun. Roman is embarrassed by them, but Summer loves them. Roman and Summer start up a romance that is a bit twisted up in some mystery. This was a great and quick read. The writing was fun, and I really can’t wait to get to more of Nikki’s books.

OMG I think I have found my next go to Author!!
This was the 3rd book I had read by Nikki and I loved it, I stayed up till 2 in the morning to finish it.
Summer and Roman have their own problems but in time they help each other work through them.
I loved the chemistry between these two, Summer made me laugh my ass off with her attitude, Poor Roman he did make me laugh when he talks about his parents he gets to mad lol.
Roman’s Mum and Dad are hilarious just the right amount of crazy to love them..
I love Nikki’s writing style. All the characters are well developed and worked great.
From the first page to the last I was hooked, I laughed my ass so much people around me thought I was going mad lol.
If you need a catchy book that will have you smiling and laughing this is definitely the book for you. Roman and Summer meet when Summer’s boss is selling his failing business. Their first encounter is one full of back and forth glances and Roman walking away thinking Summer’s name is Sara (thanks to her previous boss). The second time they meet, after Roman has purchased the business and is reintroduced to Summer is not as good. Especially when Roman learns that Summer’s name is actually not Sarah. Why does he turn into a grump? Just part of the allure of the book. Roman isn’t really a grump, he’s actually a wonderful man who you will fall in love with. He has a loving yet crazy family, who you will also fall in love with. Summer is a sweet, yet uncertain young woman who has just gone through a life altering ordeal. You will feel for her and want to wrap her up and comfort her. This book has it all; love, suspense, laughter, there will be parts that irritate you and parts that you love. But you will most definitely not regret reading this book. I know I didn’t.
