In this heartwarming series from Amy Lillard, three generations of women find the Oklahoma Amish community of Wells Landing a heaven-sent opportunity to take new leaps of faith . . . Wife, widow, mother, and grandmother—sixty-something Nadine Burkhart is everything a sensible Amish woman is supposed to be. She’s moved to Wells Landing to give her daughter-in-law and granddaughter a fresh … granddaughter a fresh start—not herself. So as far as she’s concerned, good-hearted farmer Amos Fisher should find something better to do than try to draw her out, be there when she needs help—and make her believe in love for the first time . . .
A friendly but solitary man, Amos is realizing there’s more to life than work. Although he hasn’t courted in years, Nadine’s honesty makes him long to know her better—and understand her standoffishness. But when everything he tries fails to soften her stubbornness, he’ll just have to trust his heart that real, true, and utterly impractical love will prevail—for a lifetime . . .

Romancing Nadine ( Wells Landing #9 )
By Amy Lillard
Romancing Nadine is book nine in the series Wells Landing. I really enjoyed this story.
A very sweet and heart warming story that is filled with faith , trust, and romance when you aren’t looking for it. I was proud to read this story about Nadine and Amos, both are in their sixties . I really laughed and laughed at these two all through the story. Do you think age matters when love hits you? Love the story and the characters, both were well written.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book , but was not told that I had to give a positive review. All opinions are my own.
I really enjoyed this book. I really enjoyed reading of older people falling in love, although Nadine didn’t want to fall in love with Amos.. and I loved Buddy and Jenna.. This story has you laughing, crying, wondering and sometimes a little upset with Nadine.. but it was wonderful..I received an ARC copy for an honest review.
I love the continuity in this series, how the characters continue throughout subsequent books. Nadine is twice widowed and single. Amos has never married and feels that Nadine was meant to be his wife. Unfortunately Nadine is anything but willing to have Amos court her.
Such an engaging book, and not a dull moment to be found. This whole series has been so good and I have enjoyed each addition. I love how Jenna and Buddy are back and we get to see how things continue for them as well. You can read the book on it’s own, but they are all so good that you should read them all learning to love the characters portrayed by the author.
Loved it and recommend it!
I received an ebook copy from NetGalley. All thoughts are my own.
A beautiful, heartwarming story filled with special moments, trust, faith and finding love. Age doesn’t matter when love is a possibility. I am very thankful to read a story about people in their 60’s. I found myself smiling at the conclusion of the story. I received a complimentary copy of the book. No review was required.
