A Love Song To Cherish
It’s easy to recognize another’s pain. The tough part is facing your own.
When Dorothy Thompson returns to Cherish, SC, to play piano for her brother’s wedding, memories and fear nearly paralyzes her fingers. If anyone she knew back in high school discovers her secret, the whispers will start. Fake. Fraud. Failure.
It’s not as if she can blame God for her troubles. No, she did that all by herself. But, remembering His lessons, she’s fighting to get back on track. All she can do is pray the wedding vocalist—her brother’s friend Ryan, a rising opera star—won’t notice the way her hands shake.
When Ryan Edwards sets foot inside a church for the first time in years, he’s no longer the pitiable kid from the poor side of town, but someone who’s made it on his own. Without God’s help—not that He ever cared about misfits like Ryan, anyway.
When he lays eyes on Dorothy—all grown up, more beautiful than ever, and clearly hiding something—he almost forgets why he left Cherish. Almost. But while his heart yearns to call the tune, he can’t forget his hard-earned career comes first…and his old friend’s little sister is off limits.
Note: Contains references to opiate addiction and recovery.
Author’s Note: A Love Song To Cherish was previously published as Love’s Sweet Cadence. It has been lightly revised.
A Christmas To Cherish
There’s nothing a Christmas kiss won’t cure. Except perhaps a shattered heart…
When Emmanuelle Sumter steps off the train in Cherish, South Carolina—a town simply glowing with the promise of Christmas—she finds herself praying God will help her find the broken pieces of her life. Shattered, like her beloved harp. Her dreams. And her trust in men.
Her friend Dorothy told her Cherish is a safe haven. But she never expected Dorothy’s brother, Deputy Nicholas Thompson, would relight the one thing she thought she’d lost forever. A spark of hope.
Not long ago, while Nicholas’ sister was in rehab, Emmanuelle’s voice and smile on his Skype screen held him together. After that, she seemed to disappear, an absence he felt keenly when his ex-fiancée left his faith in God dented but not broken.
Now she’s in Cherish, even more stunning in person. Yet she’s holding tight to a private pain she refuses to reveal. Nicholas resolves to be patient, vowing that he’ll never let anyone hurt her again. Even when her past rears its ugly head to destroy what’s left of her heart.
A Valentine To Cherish
Valentine’s Day is all about love. And God has a special plan for a small-town woman and a road-weary singer.
When Scarlett Evans meets Grammy-nominated Christian singer/songwriter Joseph Slater, their attraction dances like the intricate melodies he plays on his guitar. The way he looks at her—like she’s perfect, just as she is—is a balm to her recently broken heart.
From USA Today bestselling author Josie Riviera comes a contemporary Christian Romance series set in the small town of Cherish, South Carolina. These sweet and wholesome stories, where God is at the center, brim with love and laughter.

Lovely story to listen to. Get lost in visions the reader paints as she reads.
This is about A Valentine to Cherish. It is another clean, sweet, short read and great story by this author! I stayed up way too late finishing it because I couldn’t put it down. Joseph is an international Christian artist and songwriter who is lonely and burned out on traveling constantly. Scarlett is a big hearted, giving woman with self confidence issues and is a homebody. They’re drawn to each other from the first time they meet but they both have a lot to work through. My favorite part is when he sang to her at the concert, it was so romantic!
Loved each story that all take place in Cherish, South Carolina. Each story is a stand alone but leads into the other. The characters are heartwarming and all have past history that needs to be resolved. You can also see my individual reviews under each book.
I have read all 3 books in this bundle as individual books that I received free in exchange for an honest review.

Always enjoy reading a Christmas story, and it’s just July here. Book starts out with a few words from the author and list of her other works.
Started with Emmanuelle, a professional harpist and she’s on her way to Dorothy’s store. She’s starting her new life after years of troubles.
Loved hearing about all the Christmas decorations.
She prays to God to help her get through the transition and to let things lay in the past.
Her ex took everything from her…
Story also follows Nicholas who’s a deputy and is free from his ex girlfriend after she left him at the altar on their wedding day.
Dorothy hopes to get Emmanuelle to stay and work at her music studio. She knows her and Nicholas have spent many an hour over the year and they have many common interests.
This book is filled with holiday events, mystery and danger and twists and turns and love and believing in God.

A Love Song to Cherish by Josie Riviera
.
Starts out with Dorothy and she had not wanted to come back home ever again. Nothing worked out-her boyfriend found another and she was once alone again.
She is in withdrawal from opiods and the symptoms could last a few years…
She’s heavily into music, especially at churches. Health issues kept her from playing her musical instrument.
She’s only back in her hometown for her brother…his wedding to Alice and they wanted her to play. Ryan (a nerd) will be the singer…she’d not seen him for years when she left to find fame and fortune.
Ryan is accomplished worldwide. He’s not found a reason to go back to church but recalls the feeling it left him with.
What I like about his book are the unpredictable scenes, caring and such inspirational support. Love how their secrets came out with no judgment.
Note from the author, recipe and other works from the author and about the author are highlighted at the end and acknowledgements.
Excerpt from A Christmas to Cherish is also included.

Ms. Riviera stories are always so very well written. Her characters draw you into the book so you feel as you are there in this case in Cherish SC.
In A Love Song to Cherish we see that our lives can take a different path than what we plan.
In A Christmas to Cherish Ms. Riviera has written a great story of physical and emotional abuse. Those of us who have lived through it can attest to all that she has her characters go through and how we all need a good friend like Dorothy.
I am looking forward to reading A Valentine to Cherish and will update my review when I do get to read it. I understand you will need lots of tissues as you go through this story of broken hearts that need mending.
I receive complimentary books for review from publishers, publicists, and/or authors. I am not required to write positive reviews. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255
So far I have only read A Christmas to Cherish and wow, let me tell you, all the emotions running in this book! Love, happiness, fear, sadness, dread, joy. Makes you worry, laugh, cry and fall in love! Unexpected scene added in that I never would have thought. A definite must read book!!! I can’t wait to read the other books in this collection!
All three books in this set are wonderful, sweet, inspirational reads.
The characters face issues from childhood distresses to adult traumas, but are able to overcome these difficulties through finding their faith. Whether dealing with abandonment issues, self-image issues, or life in general, the characters grow together in love and unity. Watching a couple fall in love and deal with the difficulties they face is heartwarming.
A love song to cherish
Dorothy and Ryan are back in Cherish for Dorothy’s brother’s wedding.
Ryan is now a famous opera singer in Italy but Dorothy is recovering from an injury and med addiction. After being childhood friend can they rekindle their connection? And what about their faith in God? What will happen when Ryan get the chance to sing in a world famous opera?
It’s an entertaining read but it shows also what is more important in live, facing your problems, not walking away for it, and the choice between fame or love, for God and your loved ones
A Christmas to cherish
This was a fun sweet book about finding love after an abusive relationship. Discovering you self respect and trust again and giving the other what they need. They learned that together, with Gods help, they can face every challenge.
I really enjoyed the characters, including the mischievous dog.
