K.L. Montgomery’s Romance in Rehoboth series is a collection of feel-good romances set in Chesapeake Bay, with the first three books brought together in this set. The stories all work as stand-alone books, with each focusing on a different couple.
Montgomery ties the stories together by having characters popping up in each other’s books. This is really lovely as it makes everyone a bit more familiar and three-dimensional. It also gives readers a chance to see the romances progressing after the “happily ever after”.
Fat Girl is a great introduction to the series, although I had actually already read some of the later books. Claire is a loveable, relatable character who you can’t help but root for. As a recently single mum approaching her forties, getting back on the dating scene is not without it’s difficulties, which are compounded by her anxieties about her weight. The story is mostly light and funny, but we see Claire struggling and overcoming her insecurities as well.
The Flip tells a wonderful story of two people brought together by an unlikely event, getting to know each other as they work through the herculean task of fixing up an old house. Enemies to lovers isn’t usually my favourite trope, but it’s well done here with both Sonnet and Drew being interesting characters in their own rights.
Plot Twist is my favourite of the three. Musical theatre! What’s not to love? It’s fun, uplifting and relatable to anyone who’s ever been involved in theatre.
They’re great books, and fun to read together. There’s already a fourth book which is also great! For me, this collection gets five stars and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants feel-good romance between loveable, relatable characters.
K.L. Montgomery’s Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 1-3) includes Fat Girl, The Flip and Plot Twist. I’ve read of the books within this set and each was thoroughly enjoyable – highly recommend. Here’s a summary of my thoughts of each of these books in this boxed set.
Fat Girl
Fat Girl, by K.L. Montgomery, is Claire Sterling’s story. She is almost 40, divorcing her husband, moving back home, and veering back into the dating scene via online. However, she fears that she will always be a fat girl.
Most of us can relate to this story in some shape or form. We have all looked in the mirror at one point and seen ourselves as others do, some piece of disappointment in ourselves. A failed marriage with a cheating ex-husband and now being a single mom venturing back into dating trying for a new relationship. Insecurities abound and trying to find a way to respect herself and love herself inside and out.
K.L. Montgomery touches on real life issues. It is in your face, right there in front of you, in black and white on the pages. Claire’s character definitely has many roadblocks in her life that she has to knock down, move around or avoid. She’s courageous to move into dating at a later age and the unknowns of whether a person is truthful or hiding something. There were many times in the midst of reading this story that I wanted to sit right next to Claire and ask her what would you tell me… and then, don’t you think you should do the same for yourself?
Fat Girl offers several laughable moments. If you aren’t quite sure on your next book to read, I would recommend this book as everyone should be able to relate to some piece or part of this story.
The Flip
The Flip, by K.L. Montgomery, is the second book in the Romance in Rehoboth series. This romantic comedy features Andrew and Sonnet with their relationship shifts from that of high school dynamics of dislike to something that changes in a way neither of them anticipated.
The characters are well developed and I felt that their chemistry flowed smoothly and was not forced. I honestly enjoyed their antics in the story. This author does a good job in their writing for this series/story. I did previously read Fat Girl, the first book of the series. The Flip was as good as the previous book and I loved the characters of Andrew and Sonnet. K.L. Montgomery is great at romantic comedies and kept me on my toes and laughing through this novel. The story was addictive and a true page turner.
Plot Twist
K.L. Montgomery’s Plot Twist is the third novel in the Romance in Rehoboth series. The author overlaps several characters that appeared previously in the series in subsequent books as supporting cast members. I enjoyed how these characters overlapped between books. Within Plot Twist, the main cast includes Meric and Lindy; this romantic comedy has all the major elements, to have you laughing to wiping stray tears, to wondering what in the heck that last conversation was?! The build up in this story was well paced and created allure and intrigue into possibly where the author was planning to take these main characters and when they would peak and/or plummet. The story was fun, inspirational, and everything in between.
Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set by K.L. Montgomery is 3 books in one. I read these books before, and read them again in the box set. The books are all excellent reads and I really love K.L. Montgomery’s writing style. She has a way of connecting you with the characters and making you want to be part of the story. Even though this was my second time through, I really enjoyed re-reading them and still got caught up in reading them for a few days. I can’t wait to see what this author does next, I will definitely read other things she writes and along with being great books I give the box set a solid 5 stars.
5 Stars
Romance in Rehoboth is a three-book box set containing the first three books in this terrific series. The series is comprised of full-length, standalone stories, and each book centres on its own particular character/couple. The stories differ storyline, feel and tone- but they all are set against the backdrop of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
The books range from learning self-acceptance/loving yourself, believing in yourself/following your dreams, and finding your soulmate- all played out by interesting, quirky, and endearing characters who learn and grow as their story plays out. There is some drama, humour, romance, angst, body-positive messages, fun, and originality.
Fat Girl (Romance in Rehoboth Series Book #1)
We follow as Claire Sterling goes on a journey of self discovery and acceptance. Finding herself in looking 40 in the face, having weight issues, and being newly divorced. A lovely story that stayed with me long after I had finished.
The Flip (Romance in Rehoboth Series Book #2)
The is a fantastic enemies to lovers story. We meet Andrew and Sonnet who have a history and who find themselves the joint beneficiaries of a Will- inheriting a house they decide to Flip. What happens when renovation turns to romance? A great read!
Plot Twist (Romance in Rehoboth Series Book #3)
Lindy and Meric take us along for the ride as they follow their dreams in this wonderful backstage romance. An original, and worthy addition to the series. One of my favourites!
Ms. Montgomery really is a gifted storyteller, easily able to pull readers into her story and keeping them connected and hooked the whole way through. I love how her stories depicts characters who are realistic, relatable, and entirely believable.
This box set really is worth your time and money, not only is it a great buy, you get three wonderful, full length stories to dive into and enjoy.
Thank you, Ms. Montgomery!
Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 1-3) By K. L. Fletcher. I loved these books, each one a little more. They are all based on strong, independent women who struggle with self image and good looking, strong men. They are set in the quaint beach town of Rehoboth where tons of people head for vacations in Delaware. My favorite was Plot Twist the 3rd book in the series. Its about a guy named Meric Chandler a newly divorced accountant and Lindy Larson a plus size teacher who can sing beautifully. Jack & Claire from the first book Fat Girl, write a play for a summer showcase and Lindy & Meric try out for parts. They both get the parts and end up really liking each other but Lindy can’t imagine anyone as good looking as Meric having any interest in her. The story is funny and fast paced. Lindy and Meric end up becoming very good friends and they are both wanting more but are too afraid to act on it. These books are full of positive self image messages for ladies and I loved that about them. Read 1 or 2 or read all 3 you won’t regret it!
ROMANCE IN REHOBOTH is a boxed set that contains:
Fat Girl
The Flip
Plot Twist
Each book is a stand alone book with crossover characters. Each book holds up on it’s on with complex characters, strong female leads, men who aren’t afraid of strong women and a whole cast of characters along the way. Each has romance, humor, a bit of angst, self-discovery and growth.
In Fat Girl, we meet a woman who is on the precipice of so many life changes. We get to see her find out who her authentic self is.
The Flip is a cute story about 2 unlikely people involved in a project that forces them to be together for a while and discover who they are.
Plot Twist is the story of realizing that you can’t always stay in the background when you are meant to be out front.
Each of these stories made me smile and feel good about the characters (did I like each and every decision, of course not). I would absolutely recommend these books and this author.
Fat Girl (Romance in Rehoboth #1)
K. L. Montgomery
Fat Girl by K. L. Montgomery is a five star novel and the first book in the Romance in Rehoboth series. When I first started this book, I only had about ten minutes to read before I had to leave to go to dinner. I can tell you one thing for sure, I was late to that dinner! I absolutely could not put the book down. When I finally left, I was reading at the stop lights and trying to get out of the restaurant as fast as I could. Ridiculous, yes. But I am not ashamed to admit when a book really reels me in from the get go and just keeps on going. There is so much sarcasm in the life of Claire and how she depicts her life story that I can relate to. I continually caught myself laughing and laughing and also feeling like she was talking about my life. I felt like she was talking right to me and having a conversation about her life. She is waiting for her divorce to be finalized and raising her son almost on her own. She moves back to her hometown and into her parents house. Then she decides to start writing about her weight loss journey, but then realizes she has to actually lose weight to do that. With the help of her best friend, she starts down this path and is surprised at every turn by the way her life is changing. I cannot wait to read more by this author.
The Flip (Romance in Rehoboth #2)
K. L. Montgomery
The Flip by K. L. Montgomery is a five star novel and the second novel in the romance in Rehoboth series. I have not read the first novel but still felt like the characters were developed and able to be loved just the same. When these two high school nemeses meet again as adults, they cannot believe they are thrown back together again. Andrew’s aunt knew what she was doing when she left her house to both him and Sonnet. They have to find a way to work together to make the house inhabitable again. This book will bring you back to your twenties and make you feel how they must be feeling right now. I am excited to go back and read the first novel and then move on to the third!
Plot Twist (Romance in Rehoboth #3)
K. L. Montgomery
Plot Twist by K. L. Montgomery is the third installment to Romance in Rehoboth and is a five star novel. I couldn’t put this one down. I love when books have regular old teachers as their main characters because that is who I am. Lindy is just a high school English teacher. She feels like she doesn’t have a lot going for her by living at home and helping take care of her aging parents. A relationship just has never felt like it would be in the mix. Meric is a math loving nerd who needs to keep order in his life to help make things make sense. His divorce is almost final and he is unsure how life can go on but he knows getting back on the stage is a good way to get out and do something. When Lindy tries out for the same stage play, they meet for the first time. This book can be read as a standalone novel but the background in the others tie it all together.
Romance in Rehoboth Boxed set by K.L. Montgomery a five-star filled read. This is the first three books in the Romance in Rehoboth series and all together they make each book stronger than the last. I don’t know why but they do, each story is of a different strong, individual woman getting what she needs and deserves, each book is good but my personal favourite was the Flip, Sonnett had something about her in a total nerdy chic amazingness and Andrew had that special something that would turn your head and make you chase crocodiles in the rain.
Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 1-3)
By K.L. Montgomery
5 Stars
WOW! Being a newcomer to K.L. Montgomery, I didn’t know what to expect in terms of her books. To say I was blown away is putting it mildly! The Romance in Rehoboth boxed set gives you the first 3 books in this amazing series.
From the awesomeness that is Fat Girl, the 1st book in the series, you’re introduced to Claire Sterling. Her life may not be what she thought it would be but she is determined to re-invent herself! The characters, flow, and story (although it was a bit of memoir read) all came together to give the reader so much. The self-deprecating humor and subject matter that K.L. Montgomery spin in this book kept me entertained until the very end.
Then on to book 2, The Flip! Another great read from K.L. Montgomery introduces you to Andrew and Sonnet. These two have been competing against each other since they were 8 years old. To find out that Andrew’s great aunt has passed and bequeathed her home to both of them. As they renovate the home they begin to see they are not the same people that they were. Sparks fly and the house may not be the only thing that gets fixed! The Flip was more a “traditional” romance and Ms. Montgomery continues with her positive body image theme! Thoroughly enjoyable!
The final book in this box set is Plot Twist and Ms. Montgomery keeps on giving us the GOOD!! Meric & Lindy headline this third installment. But don’t worry, Ms. Montgomery continues with characters from past books popping in and new characters falling in love hooking you in with this series! Meric & Lindy both have ideas of how this production is going to go. Too bad there’s always scene changes and plot twists with any production! This rom-com was super fun to read!
If you’re looking for fun, easy reads pick up this box set! K.L. Montgomery will snare you and keep you entertained with these great stories. Hilarity, romance, and fabulous stories are what you will find. I would highly recommend you add K.L. Montgomery to your favorite author list! Pick up this box set today and prepare to be entertained! You will love these books!!
Rehoboth Series by K. L. Montgomery is a series is about self-realization. In the three different stories, Montgomery has fully developed characters and as a reader I found myself in the story with the characters. Each story has its own characters but the stories are similar. Each one had me within the first couple of paragraphs to the last words on each story. My family thinks I am crazy because I would talk to the characters like they are right there in my living room with me. Out of the three, I would have to say that “The Flip” was my favorite one. This story has all the elements that I could feel in my life at this moment in time. You will go on a journey with each character, Claire in Fat Girl, Sonnet in The Flip, and Lindy in Plot Twist. Each female character grows within her own story. They start to trust their feelings but the walls remain up. I hope you enjoy your journey with each character as I am sure you will find yourself growing as the characters grow within the story.
The Romance in Rehoboth Boxed set by KL Montgomery includes the first three books in the series. What a great way to get several lighthearted stories together. These can be read out of order but why would you when you have them all together.
Fat Girl
Fat Girl by K.L. Montgomery is the first book in the Romance in Rehoboth series. These are standalone stories but with characters that carry over from one story to the next. Claire is going through a reinvention of herself after her divorce. She is fat and had a lifelong challenge with her weight. She is a blogger/journalist who decides to join the online dating world. Her character is relatable and fun. I could relate to her because the character is the same age as myself and so were her references from her past. I liked the story and read this quickly. If you are needing a fun read this is for you.
The Flip
The Flip by K.L. Montgomery is the second book in the Romance in Rehoboth series. This can be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel. The story is about Andrew and Sonnet who were academic rivals in high school. When both jointly inherit a house ten years after high school can they put their differences aside? Andrew is the underachiever who enjoys his life. Sonnet is the overachiever who wants to continue her education and lead girls into the sciences. The two decide to flip the inherited house. There were elements that reminded me of “The Money Pit”. This was a fun read that kept me from putting it down. I wanted to see where the story went. The characters were relatable and realistic. I hadn’t read the first book in the series but am now going back to catch that one before continuing to the next book. I hope that the stories are as fun as this one.
Plot Twist
Plot Twist by KL Montgomery is the third book in the Romance in Rehoboth series. This can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading in order because some of the secondary characters were introduced in earlier books. Lindy wants to hide from the limelight but is convinced by friends to become involved in a local theatre production. Meric is a newly divorced accountant by day but a handsome actor after work. Can Lindy overcome her insecurities to allow Meric to be more than a friend? I have enjoyed the other books in the series and this one did not disappoint. The characters have real issues and to face not only themselves but also those around them. KL Montgomery gives another strong female character and reminds us that there are nice guys out there.
Fat Girl was an interesting book. It was a good story about a woman starting over and falling in love again, with her self and a man. I understand that the book was about self-image and fat shaming, but it was kind of hard to read because of the consent and never-ending criticizing of her body. I feel like there should have been more story and depth in the story. It all worked out in the end but still something to think about. I enjoyed the characters immensely.
The Flip was a great, fun read. It was the classic love story of rivals falling in love. The characters of Sonnet and Andrew were awesome people and the story about them was downright hilarious. I truly enjoyed the story and thought it was a good read. The only thing I would add is that I didn’t feel like Sonnet had to give up her life in order to be with him. But otherwise, it was good!
Plot Twist
This has been the best book in the series so far. It was funny, sweet, and romantic. I loved the couple of Meric and Lindy. I was rooting for them from the very beginning and loved how Meric was so supportive of Lindy when she doubts her self. It was so sweet and loving. This author has made a great series, and I cannot wait for the next one.
Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 1-3) by K.L. Montgomery is a light hearted, good feel collection, that features a great selection of MC’s, that are, you know, actually normal people.
I love this series, it has good laughs, good messages and it has like I said, real normal people, as the leads. I’m talking, that you could pass these people on the street and not think twice. They aren’t the embodiment of greek gods, they aren’t perfect, and that makes this series all the more enjoyable and it makes you connect with them on a human leve. It was refreshing, and just, amazing.
As I have review these books separately, I’m going to give you the highlights from each, you can get what I’m putting out.
Fat Girl: “Reading this book hit home with me, and in truth I wish I would have read it sooner. I connected with Claire, I know her struggles and, damn some of things that went through he head.. I can relate. It’s so real it makes me feel this book was written with personal experience, or it was researched so well, that no detail was spared. ”
The Flip: “Sonnet, she was strong willed, smart and determined. I like her, and I loved seeing her slowly loosen up, the more time she spent in the house, with Drew and, interacted with her crazy neighbours. She had a spark about her that made reading about her and Drew’s growing friendship/something, all the more fun and enjoyable.”
Plot Twist: “Lindy, she is our female MC. She isn’t your normal female protagonist, for one, she’s plus size, two, she isn’t the so called “natural beauty” that makes every man or woman, in the room turn their heads. She’s a realistic character, that fits with what normal woman, look like and feel. I have seen some stunning woman in my life, and never had I seen the goddess like creatures that are portrayed in most romance novels. So reading about this normal everyday woman, made this book more than enjoyable, but real. Because no matter what movies, TV, and social media wants to make you believe, the big girl can get that hot guy. I’ve seen it, and it’s about time it’s reflected in entertainment. ”
There is a fourth book called Badge Bunny, so when you get these pretties read you can continue the fun, and follow our beloved character in that book. It’s just as good as these, and I really hope there is more to come from the people of Rehoboth.
There is nothing else left to say only that I give this series my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval. It’s everything you’ve been wanting for in a romance series.
Happy Reading
-E.A. Walsh
Fat Girl: Romance in Rehoboth Book #1
Besides the Autumn poets sing
A few prosaic days
A little this side of the snow
And that side of the Haze…
Grant me, Oh Lord, a sunny mind-
Thy windy will to bear!
~Emily Dickinson
Once again, like I so often find myself with anything written by KL Montgomery, I am at a loss of how to do this novel justice with a review. It is hard when a book so greatly resounds with you and your life to put exactly into words how that makes you feel as you are reading, and long after you are finished. I think most of us book fanatics understand the feeling and so a simple opinion will just have to do. I highly recommend that you pick up this novel, and the rest of the series that is available now! One-click the whole series, and prepare to fall in love with Rehoboth.
Claire Sterling is dealing with a lot of life changes. You could call it a midlife crisis, but that is just because it happens to be taking place just shy of her 40th birthday. See, Claire is now a newly single mom, a divorcee to be, and a, well, a ‘fat girl’. She is struggling to find her identity as a woman facing all these obstacles that have just been dumped in her path. Throw in the fact that she now has to move home with her parents in Delaware and that she has a job writing a blog type reoccurring spot for the New York Times, and well you have a perfect equation for some funny stories and times.
In her column, Her Reinvention, she faces her problems head on, and very publically. Her Reinvention is full of her self-depreciating antics, funny dating mishaps, basically her actual ‘reinvention’ is on display, and it makes for some awesome reading material. Her humor really resounded with me. I feel like I often make something funny so that I don’t have to cry. This is something that I know a lot of women face and could connect to. I loved following her journey. I was sad when the book ended. Claire still has a lot to learn and fix so to speak, but she is stronger and a bit more confident by the end of the novel.
Another positive that I feel is worth mentioning, KL Montgomery incorporates the seasons in the novel by breaking it up into sections with poems/quotes that ring true to the seasons of life. This is something I love to see in novels. Poetry/quotes are a huge addiction of mine and I feel like it really is another great way to connect the reader to the story.
Thank you for another strong, body positive, and realistic story KL Montgomery. I can’t wait to see what else is to come from you!
How many lessons of faith and beauty we should lose, if there were no winter in our year!

Behold, my friends, the spring is come;
the earth has gladly received the embraces of the sun,
And we shall soon see the results of their love!

Then followed that beautiful season…
Summer…
Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light;
And the landscape
Lay as if new created in all the freshness of childhood.

The Flip: Romance in Rehoboth Book #2
KL Montgomery is an automatic one-click author for me. I am always finding things I can relate to in her characters. This book was not anything different and I loved every second of my time spent at the beach with Andrew and Sonnet. This is the perfect poolside read, if you are like me and don’t have access to a beach, otherwise, go read this at the beach!
“Tonight is one of those brilliant sunsets you never want to end.”
The Flip is the second book in the Romance in Rohoboth series, but it can be read as a standalone. I don’t know why you would though because it too is a five-star read! The Flip has the same ring of rom-com that is prevalent in a lot of KL Montgomery’s work. I found myself laughing a lot of the book. Who doesn’t need a little more laughter and love in their lives?
Andrew and Sonnet can’t stand each other, at least that is what they thought at first. High school rivals they were glad to be rid of each other after graduation. Well not for long. Penelope Vaughn has a different plan in mind. Upon her death she gifts her beachfront property to both of them. Penelope was Andrew’s great aunt. Her connection to Sonnet is that she used to be her neighbor that she went to and sought comfort from in times of need.
The house really needs some work. The two feel like they could manage to ‘flip’ the house together. They both could use the money and have the profits set to be used for their dreams. The process isn’t as easy as it sounds though for them. Can they work together to get through this or will they continue to bash heads at every turn? What will happen when they start to see more than an irritant and enemy in each other? Will they be willing to open up their hearts to the idea of love?
I loved Sonnet. Her classy but sassy attitude is very much like myself and I really connected to her on that level. I also loved that she was strong-willed and knew what she wanted. She didn’t back down ever to Andrew and I loved that. We need more strong positive women to read about and represent for the women of this world that aren’t afraid to live in the skin they are in.
“I roll my eyes. I figure by the end of the summer, my eye muscles will be the strongest ones in my entire body, they’re going to get such a work out from dealing with Andrew Clark.”
“Boundaries, Andrew, ever heard of them?”
Andrew was also a fun guy to read about. He is strong willed as well, hence their clashing personalities. He also has a joker personality, and is funny and entertaining. His secret is that he is just a big teddy bear. A soft and sweet heart, and I loved that about him. He really grew on me.
I can’t wait to see what will come with the next book, Badge Bunny! I am sure whatever is to come will be my next obsession from KL Montgomery!!
“I know this look. And I know what it means. And I know what is happening. Every single one of my brain cells is telling me to step back, to turn my cheek, to purse my lips, but my thundering heartbeat is drowning out their pleas. Even my brain can be ignored.”
Plot Twist: Romance in Rehoboth #3
K.L. Montgomery really hits the nail on the head with this funny and entertaining Rom-Com. I have not read the other books (yet) in the Rehoboth series from her but I will be doing so soon. I loved that this book was its own force though and I was able to get lost in it without reading the others. I found myself laughing out loud, and rooting for our main characters to find the happiness they so much deserved.
Lindy is a strong curvy woman, with an attitude. She doesn’t let her self-conscious issues stop her from trying to accomplish her dreams of being in the entertainment industry. Instead she feels like she could be the next big cartoon character’s voice, maybe even a Disney princess someday? She needs flexibility in her life as she right now is tasked with taking care of her aging parents and is living with them. During the day she is a teacher at Delmarva Academy, when school is in session. She does get summers off and during this time her best of friends manage to convince her to try out for a local musical.
It is there that she meets the dashing Meric Chandler. Meric is an accountant by day, with a personality of a reserved hermit. What most people don’t know about him is his passion for theatre. It is when he is on stage that he comes out of his shell and shines brightest.
One disaster after another leaves the two finding themselves front and center of the production. Both of them begin to develop feelings for each other but are putting a hold on them because of their past issues. Lindy is terrified of putting her heart on the line. Meric is healing his heart after a bitter divorce and is not looking for a new relationship right now. Sometimes life has a way of changing our best intentions and plans and these two find themselves having a difficult time avoiding the strong feelings at the forefront. Will they be able to overcome their fears and find that happily ever after they both think that is impossible to achieve? Or will the pressures they self-impose get in the way of any future happiness they could have together?
I am itching to read the other books that are part of the Romance in Rehoboth series. I will also be keeping an eye for more installments in the future from KL Montgomery. I can guarantee this book promises laughter, love, and the right amount of tearful moments to balance it all. You won’t be disappointed you joined Lindy and Meric on their journey together. I am sure you will be finding yourself falling in love with these characters as much as I have. This is a strong five star read that will take you away from the stresses of life and have you laughing for a few hours. This is the perfect rainy day read, or even a day by the pool read.
Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 1-3)

5 stars
Books included: Fat Girl, The Flip, and Plot Twist
I absolutely adored these stories! This author is definitely one of my favourites, she creates such wonderful, down to earth characters that you cannot help but fall in love with. Her writing pulls you in with ease and doesn’t let you back out until the very end. Each story is about a different character but they all interconnected in some ways.
I loved Fat Girl (book 1 in the box set) Claire really spoke to me as a character; I just loved everything about her. She was such a realistic and relatable character.
I loved how each book, although took place in the same setting, was completely different.
A fantastic box set of 5 star reads – I highly recommend it I don’t think you will be disappointed!
I loved the Romance in Rehoboth series. Fat Girl is the more practical love story, and focuses a bit more on how Claire grows to love herself. Really all of these cast some sort of light on body image and confidence, and it makes them that much more relatable to me. The Flip was more of a fun enemies to lovers situation, it was humorous but heartfelt. In Plot Twist, I really connected with Lindy. The way she tried to fade into the background, when she’s meant to shine. The way her friends don’t know how to act when she changes. These books were entertaining with a powerful message of self acceptance, and enjoyable love stories. I’m a big fan of this series.
The Romance in Rehoboth boxset by K.L. Montgomery has books one through three in the series. Of the three amazing books, I have to say that book two, The Flip, is my favorite. Each was unique and easy to read. They do not need to be read in order as I read them completely out of order. Though each book has small tie-ins into the others. The stories are funny, witty and exciting. The characters are easily relatable and the author keeps you captivated throughout. You’ll be doing yourself a favor buying the boxset!
Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 1-3) by K.L. Montgomery is a great series of stand-alone books.
Each of these books features a different couple but each book is just as good as the others. The plots are varied and the characters are all different but completely relatable. The author knows how to weave a tale that will keep you thoroughly entertained. If you haven’t done so already I would recommend reading these books immediately.

This box set includes Fat Girl, The Flip and Plot Twist. I wasn’t a fan of Fat Girl to much due to way too much thinking in the characters head (I prefer action and dialog) but the character themselves were good. This proved to be true as you get to see each of them in the other two stories. The Flip was the a lot more enjoyable to me. The silly things that happened and the outrageous characters really added to the story. The two main characters had a fiery relationship. I enjoyed a lot of back and forth banters…..so full of sass. Plot Twist was full of humor and I really felt like a friend or maybe an extra on the set :). The characters really drew me in and I enjoyed reading this book immensely. The secondary characters in this one(as with the previous two) were out of this world. They all had such great roles and added to the story. Along with making me laugh and chuckle.
This is a definite series to read if you want to be taken on an adventure, or fall in love with the characters, make new friends and enjoy a good chuckle. They all have a nice message included as well from characters that seem like they could be your bestie or neighbors.
a great trilogy about finding love where you least expect it. Set in the idyllic seaside town of Rehoboth, the first novel tells the story of writer Claire starting life again after her divorce as a writer and mother. Will she lose the weight she wants and find the man of her dreams? Sonnet and Drew have been bitter rivals since high school years ago. But when Sonnet’s aunt leaves them both a house in disrepair, can they put their differences aside and sell it together? Lindy Larson has always been shy, but takes a backing vocal part in a production fo a play by Claire. When troubles arise, will she find courage and take the leading lady part?
a series of great reads. Well developed plots with twists and tunrs and surprises that you will not be able to put down. Well developed characters of women who go for what they want such as Sonnet and her science teaching dreams or Claire to lose weight balanced with the humour of Drew. Great example of switching perspectives in the novels between chapters that was well written to dispaly both sides of events and were easy to follow. Great romances placed in amazing setting of wonderful natural imagery. for example the little beach town by the seaside with its stunning sunsets and storms in vivid beauty but wild and free. Overall, a great trilogy and I would give it five stars.
