“The stunning conclusion to the Roma Royals Duet Series. The very best of Callie Hart. Hold on tight, because this is one hell of a ride!”Son. Lover. Protector.KING. I’ve been many things to many people over the course of my life, but that title – King – has always been a tough pill to swallow. If I want to help Zara save her friend, then I must find a way to shoulder the pressure, though. I must … to shoulder the pressure, though. I must unravel this complicated tangle of clues and hunt down a madman I thought I’d already killed three years ago in order to bring Sarah home in one piece.
My people are depending on me to protect them.
Zara is trusting me to keep her alive.
There isn’t a sacrifice I won’t make for her.
My Firefly.
My Queen.
I’ll raze this world to the ground to keep her safe…
more
Pasha’s still mine. I’m not sharing. You can look, but you can’t touch. I know that all of you will fall in love with him too, but I’m sorry, you’re just gonna have to love him from afar. Callie Hart is constantly creating men to fill up my harem. I can’t get enough of him and I never wanted to stop reading his story. He’s a phenomenal character who deserved all of the good to be offered in this world.
This contradiction of a man shouldn’t even be possible, like he’s some sort of supernatural anomaly and I’m the luckiest person in the universe to be lying here, permitted to witness his unlikely existence even for a split second in time. – Zara
I love how the connection between Pasha and Zara only continued to deepen and grow. Their bond was strong enough to withstand just about everything. His family’s dissent, the mystery and almost certain peril they faced, and the quickness of their love wouldn’t stop them and I loved it.
“You feel like a constant. You’re a song I’ve always known, I can hum you, the sound and the tone and the melody of you filling every single fiber of my being.” – Zara
So a madman is making demands, forcing Pasha to face something he thought was in his past. Becoming King of his clan, Pasha isn’t sure how the two lives, the Roma life and the life he shares with Zara, will work. Oh and catching the bad guy and saving lives is still a priority. Be prepared for the romance, the suspense, the intensity of the plot, and the heart. Because Pasha has got so much of that. His heart beat throughout this story and I can’t wait for you to meet him!
Loved! So worth the wait!
Intense, action packed and just utterly amazing are just a few ways to describe Roma Queen.
Roma Queen picks up where Roma King ended and it was so worth waiting for. The twists and turns will keep you glued to the pages!
Pasha and Zara have a connection like no other and omg the passion between these two is definitely off the charts hot.
The Roma Royals Duet will keep you on the edge if your seat! When it comes to Callie Hart one clicking is a no brainer!
Roma Queen continues the passionate story of Zara and Pasha! What begins as the kidnapping of a little boy turns into a nightmare, as a man from Pasha’s past is determined to have his revenge, causing devastation and destroying lives. Pasha has finally found the girl of his dreams but instead of locking himself away with her, he must face an old enemy and finally destroy him. Zara always faced her fears and refused to give up, but for the first time in her life she’s afraid! Pasha is a strong and proud man, loyal and dedicated to Zara and his people, but now he must prove that he is worthy to be King! Together they are fierce and no one can stop them protecting the Roma people! Their love is fascinating and their adventure full of suspense!
I read this via ku and am leaving my review voluntarily. This is part 2.
Triggers: flashbacks of child sex abuse, attempted murder
**spoilers**
This is the conclusion to Pasha and Zara’s story.
There is some sexy time but mostly the story focuses on answering all the questions brought up in the first book.
The bad ones will have to face justice.
HEA
First off the opening words here were just so tragic, really hurting my heart with the hopelessness they projected.
So this is the second book in the series and book 1 needs to be read first and since it’s been a while for me I did a reread just to refresh my memory somewhat.
This started off right where we left things previously and what I especially liked about this was the lack of game playing and artifice.
When it came to Pasha and Zara’s connection there was just such an openness and ultimate honesty on both sides it was really refreshing.
Add into the mix their explosive chemistry and the filthy whispered promises and I was a complete gonna for them for sure.
This was again heavy on the suspense and intrigue and Pasha finds himself taking his firefly back to his roots to meet his kin and finally embracing his own foretold destiny.
This was gripping and suspenseful and ever so sexy the language used between Pasha and Zara was smoking and a bucket of water was needed after indulging.
There were shocks with a betrayal and a satisfying finale, highly recommend this series, it packs a serious punch and gets a big thumbs up from me.

What another amazing ending! Callie is a phenomenal writer and had me in a trance from the beginning of this Duet. I’m so in love with Pasha and Zara! The mystery behind the Roma people was really interesting! The ending was simply perfect. I can’t wait to read more of what Callie has to offer!
4.5 Stars
After the ending of Roma King (Roma Royals Duet #1), I was constantly refreshing my kindle waiting for this one to land. In my head spinning the possibilities of the many ways this Duet could end. Alas, my life is now complete having it land on the kindle and just finished reading this highly anticipated conclusion!
Picking up right where we left off, this book was non-stop with the twist and turns! One reveal after another. Questions that we were left unanswered were tackled and what we were left with was a jaw dropping story!
Pasha and Zara might have met through their dreams, but it was their loyalty to each other that uncovered years and years of lies, deceit, back-stabbing and both of them questioning where the trust remains in the Roma Klan.
The off the chart chemistry between Pasha and Zara is definitely Sham-Wow bloomer worthy! Holy cow, bring me a ice pack to cool off!!!
Can the Roma King and the Gadje woman survive together or will the past continue to haunt them every time the phone in the phone booth rings?

Loved this book.
As we found in book 1 Pasha and Zara are an insanely intense hot couple who fall for each other extremely fast and hard.
They would both do anything for those they love and that’s what they have to do in this second book in the duet.
Beginning right where the 1st book ended pasha and Zara start there journey to rescue Sarah and deal with the sick, twisted Lazlo who is intent on destroying the Rivin King line.
A lot of twists and turns and revelations about the past mean U never know what’s coming next in this story or who the characters can trust
Loved that bits of callie harts other books were subtly intertwined into the story.
The epic continuation of Roma King is finally here!! This is part 2 in the Roma Royals duet. Get ready for Zara and Pasha to steam up your e-readers again!! This begins right where Roma King left off and has even more intrigue, twists, mystery, hotness and so much more. Who can you trust? Zara and Pasha are on a journey to find Lazlo and bring him to justice within the clan. Will Pasha finally be crowned the Roma King and write his wrongs? Can they save Sarah in time or will this cat and mouse game come to an unlikely end? I also loved the little scene between Pasha and little Evelyn and his bickering with Patrin is hilarious! Told in dual POV; this is another not to be missed book for Callie! You will be taken on a journey with so many twists until you get the answers you are looking for! Oh and Pasha is Mine! All 6’4” of his Hotness!
“He is the most beautiful, savage creature I have ever seen.”
I’m always left floating within the clouds, charged with adrenaline and sighing in pure, utter bliss after finishing anything by Callie Hart. I wanted to devour this intricate duet wholly, yet pulled myself back to savour this riveting tale that concluded in both compelling and captivating ways. Roma Queen left me awed, my eyes wide from learning revelations and discovering totally unexpected connections.
“Our eyes meet, and so much passes between us: I’m proud of you. I’m amazed by you. I’m here for you. I will never fucking leave you.”
Zara and Pasha are entwined, their relationship a unique connection bound together by certain, unforeseeable circumstances. When a past face resurfaces, testing this newfound couple’s strength, no matter the difficulties and adversities that appear, Zara and Pasha are unwavering—an unstoppable force prepared to do everything necessary to keep those they love safe.
“Touch me. Kiss me. Fuck me,” I whisper. “Make me lose myself in you. I want to forget where you end and I begin.”
I didn’t just adore every single moment—I absorbed every facet of this heart-stropping, jaw-dropping and toe-curling narrative. It is heated and passionate, with many turns and twists to keep your interest piqued. Questions are answered and shocking truths are unveiled. I wasn’t certain where this would head, only that Callie Hart’s signature anti-hero and brand of sassy, witty heroine would continue to capture my heart!
Everything about Roma Queen is emotionally satisfying. If you love dangerous anti-heroes, strong heroines and darkness in your romance, you need to read this duet, especially if Zeth Mayfair is your favourite Callie Hart hero. Watch out, Mr. Mayfair—Pasha Rivin might dethrone you.
The opening to Roma Queen stole my breath. It’s shocking, it’s tragic and it’s just heartbreaking. I wanted to step inside the pages, take away the hurt and make everything all right. Similar scenes throughout the book are equally, if not more, disturbing and difficult to read. Those scenarios are decidedly challenging, the depravity difficult to comprehend, but for someone who likes the darkness, I found them fascinating and certainly fundamental to the story.
Our couple are on a mission, but along the way we get to meet some fascinating characters, explore another culture, and see lives lived differently. There’s a real contrast between the moments of brutality and the growing love between Pasha and Zara. Zara calls Pasha “A physical need that flows in my blood” and you can see that love develop and grow, becoming all encompassing as the story progresses.
“He is a burning ache that thrums in my chest. He is a warning, and a plea, and a gunshot in the dark, and I have only one way of responding to him: desperately, fiercely, and with every part of my soul”.
Ms Hart has created a wonderfully complex world that drew me in and kept me glued to the pages. It’s a very clever, intricate, plot and it was tough to contain my excitement at times. Even when it became clear that certain people had no moral compass and their betrayal ran deep, I was fascinated to see what would happen next. I received answers to questions I didn’t even know I had. I got a kick out of several ‘aha!’ moments during the course of the story, especially when things began to come together towards the end. With my imagination creating a mind map, I wanted to go off in different directions to satisfy my curiosity. I’m being deliberately cryptic when I say I really hope we get to discover the outcome of one particular newsworthy headline. If you’re familiar with this author you’ll understand when I say the perpetrators are going to be very sorry, very quickly!
I highly recommend Roma Queen. A fantastic and unique conclusion to this duet, it’s gripping, well written, sexy, and intriguing and I loved it.
Wow!!
Yet again Ms Hart has outdone herself, I could not put this book down!
Was sitting there grinning like a fool with all the Easter eggs from her other books, but that wasn’t the only thing that made this book special and unforgettable.
Ms Hart knows how to write books that will stay with you forever, she truly is a master at her craft. So many twists and turns that you’ll never see coming.
I just love this Duet! Roma Queen is the continuation of Roma King. It was so much more than Roma King. We finally get to find out what happens to Corey & Sarah and how each of the characters are intertwined. This story really showed Pasha’s soft side. I just absolutely love him. Zara his firefly is one lucky lady!! Callie Hart did an absolute amazing job!
Action packed & thrilling ride- Full speed ahead with captivating narration. It’s a unexampled plot treated with seduction and burning passion
I’m so in love with this story, if it was possible to have literary orgasms, I’d be comatose by now! Heat factor is breaking the thermometer and feels factor is pummeling the heart!
Pasha Rivin! A beast of a man….Lionine! Destined for greatness and chosen to be the KING!
he has my heart submitted to His Majesty’s soulful words.
“You feel like a constant. You’re a song I’ve always known. I can hum you, the sound and the tone and the melody of you filling every single fiber of my being. I can’t seem to remember the lyrics of you, but every second I spend with you, I’m seeming to figure out where they fit.”
First off the name itself is so sexy, thrums my heart as I utter it. It has a majestic ring to it. Coupled with his sexy lush green eyes, drool worthy physique and protective streak…I’m a goner ! Come home to mama shabby *sigh*
I’ve been lost and directionless for a long time now.
Now that I’ve found him, Pasha feels like coming home.
The story provides an apt framework for Pasha. He comes barrelling into Zara Llewellyn’s life an turns it upside down. She is smitten by him, much to her dismay, cause he’s dangerous and mysterious and her priorities are Corey and Sarah and that dang mysterious pay phone booth outside her apartment building. She just doesn’t have time or the inclination, but LOVE surprises her when life is busy making plans.
He is a physical need that flows in my blood. He is a burning ache that thrums in my chest. He is a warning, and a plea, and a gunshot in the dark, and I have only one way of responding to him: desperately, fiercely, and with every part of my soul.
Callie wrote Roma King and i had to (reluctantly) evacuate Zeth Mayfair from permanent residency of my heart. What can I say, a sexier alpha just strolled right in and camped with his varda. !
I’ve always been fascinated with gypsies as my home country-India has many gypsy tribes and of course watching The Gypsy Camp Vanishes Into The Blue. There’s an aura of otherworldiness, mystique, and danger surrounding these people so my excitement was doubled with this duet.
It’s written incredibly well, very taut storyline with emphasis on love connection between Zara and pasha, but at no time does the focus from the impending threats and nearing deadlines wanes. All beating on a drumbeat of war that’s looming just on the horizon.
The sex scenes are scorching and the chemistry just electrifying. It’s like whenever Pasha & Zara are together they form their own gravity field with sparks and magnetism. You cannot help but be pulled into their love orbit!!
This kiss is an armed robbery. Like a thief, Pasha takes everything from me as he grinds himself against me, pinning me to the wall of the vardo.
My breath: gone.
My hearing: gone.
All cognitive abilities: gone.
My vision: gone.
My hearing: gone.
The characters are so crystal clear, I had no trouble imagining them. Pasha and Zara are so adorably in love, they don’t know it yet. Shelta, Sarah, Patrin, Cleo, Archie, Garrett, Lazlo, they’re all very easily imaginable due to fantastic detailed description and fabulous character sketching. I could feel all the emotions and almost hear their dialects. Shelta fascinated me the most and I hope she and Sarah get their own books sometime. I can’t stop at this duet, I need more of the Rivins. I need tarots, magical coin, crystal ball, Vardas, vistas and witness the beheading of Prikoza!!
5 stars for The RomBaro and his Empress
This is the highly anticipated continuation in The Roma Royals Duet, and while I was dying to know how it ends, I didn’t want it to end!
Callie Heart writes a heart stopping beginning like no one else, making me both eager and afraid to keep reading at the same time! The obviously well researched and fascinating portrayal of gypsy life put this already intense and breathtaking story on a whole other level.
Zara is such a strong female, who doesn’t take crap from anyone, including Pasha.
Pasha loves this about her, and while he’s normally arrogant and bossy, with her he’s soft and mushy, and dare I say, romantic. Wow, the things that come out of Pasha’s mouth…sometimes sweetly poetic, other times, dirty as sin. Their chemistry is off the charts, threatening to melt my Kindle!
Sick and twisted, mysterious and suspenseful, sexy and sinful…I couldn’t put it down.
If you’ve read Callie’s other books, you’re going to find some crazy good crossover scenes along the way, just for some added thrill!
All hail the Roma King and Queen – Pasha Rivin and Zara Llwelyn – a couple who were destined to come into each other’s lives and complete one another in ways that they never thought possible despite the fact that they’d been dreaming about each other long before they ever met in real-life. But as much as it seems these two were meant to be, the obstacles they must overcome, the betrayals they must endure, and the jacked up situations that make them question everyone and everything in their lives threaten not only what Pasha and Zara have come to mean to each other but their very existence.
Loyalty and trust are extremely important to Pasha and Zara, especially given the circumstances that they find themselves in, and while many people close to them reveal their true colors as everything unravels in Roma, these two know that they can depend on one another, even if they’re the only ones who can be trusted.
Answers to all the questions that were left up in the air when Roma King ended are provided, but that information is not easily obtained, meaning that the pathway to the truth is found in a maze of misinformation and misdirects, tasking readers with the arduous job of unraveling the pieces and separating the lies from the truth as well as digging through the plethora of skeletons that seem to reside in every corner of the Roma community.
There’s a shitload of information to sift through in order to understand the characters’ motives and careful attention has to be made so that nothing is missed as Pasha and Zara learn important truths about who they are and what it will take for their lives to stay intertwined despite everyone working against them.
It took me a bit to wrap my head around all of the information that is learned throughout the pages of Roma Queen because as I delved deeper into all the dark places Hart took readers, I could have easily gotten lost, but thankfully, Hart gave me enough direction to put it all together and gave her hero and heroine enough gumption and faith in themselves and in each other to come out on the other side together despite the shitstorm they had to weather.
4 Poison Apples
My anticipation for this book was through the roof, from the ending in Roma King I’ve been desperate for answers to a lot of questions.
The whole Roma culture fascinates me, they have their own world and outsiders aren’t openly given a warm welcome.
Pasha and Zara are on a mission to find answers, they have this crazy connection neither of them can fully explain but can’t and won’t deny.
The chemistry between them literally sizzles off the pages in electric shock waves, some of the most intense I’ve felt when reading. I bloody loved them together they rocked my world.
This story delved straight in from where we left off. It’s a maze of secrets that need solving. A dangerous game of cat and mouse in a bid for answers. Pasha once again must embrace his Roma roots with Zara at his side. But what they discover will change everything.
I was so engrossed in this story it was shrouded in mystery, exhilarating with all its twists and revelations my head was spinning.
A fantastic conclusion and I loved every spine tingling minute.
I enjoyed book 1 but this one just blew me away.
Massive Love for The Roma King and his Queen.
