If you love sweet romance, high-stakes intrigue, and theme parks, then lower your safety bar and keep your hands inside the vehicle—because Roller Coaster Romance is a fast-paced and flirtatious must-read! When Vanessa finally gets her dream job as a manager at the most elaborate theme park in the world, love is the furthest thing from her mind. She’s walked right into the middle of a workplace … right into the middle of a workplace war, and her roguish employee Thomas is clearly on the wrong side. All she has to do is keep it professional—even if she can’t stop thinking about him.
Thomas has just 30 days to outwit upper management and convince his fellow ride operators to unionize. Falling for his cool-and-collected new boss is not part of the plan. So why can’t he stop finding excuses to spend time with her?
Their slow burn could ignite the fireworks of love… or destroy everything they’ve fought for.

From the moment you start reading you feel the emotions portrayed by each character. The book’s narrative is easy to follow and it helps the story come to life. The way each chapter is divided by each main character’s point of view makes it easier to understand and to appreciate each character. I appreciated the suspence of whether and when, or how this romance would develop. The story can be very relatable as most people have been in a similar scenario. The setting is magical. As a theme park fan, I found it enchanting and I visualized each scenario as if I were there. The setting is like a symbolic reference of a relationship rollercoaster ride and for some it can be a full theme park of chaotic fun! So don’t be scared, hop in, and enjoy the ride! 😉
I enjoyed this book with each run of the pages. The characters are well developed and engaging and the storyline had a smooth flow to it.

I received this as an ARC and am giving my honest review voluntarily. This is not your typical romance book but it is a sweet story of a woman trying to navigate her new job while trying to do right by her staff even if she has to go against the powers that be. Vanessa feels an attraction to one of her staff members who unfortunately is working against the higher-ups. I enjoyed this storyline about Unions and how they affect the staff and corporations. Vanessa and Thomas are a couple you can get behind and the writer wrote a realistic story of a couple who meet, work together for a common cause and take it slow.
A fast paced story that was a bit different than romance stories I normally read. This is the first book by this author that I’ve read and it was a bit refreshing to read something a little different. Sometimes having a romantic relationship with someone on the opposite side of a situation isn’t always easy. This story is told in 2 different POV’s.

The writing style was good, but the book was low in romance. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
