Honestly, I do not have enough good adjectives to describe how wonderful these books are. I actually sat and read them all in one sitting. And I will be doing it again. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.
Rogues and adventurers tamed by love. A lady falls in love with her fiance’s best friend. A beautiful but quiet wallflower gets the rogue she’s always love from afar. A man, betrothed since he was a child, finally after fifteen years comes to claim his fiancée, but she doesn’t want anything to do with him and she definitely doesn’t want to marry him. A country gentleman comes to London for his friend’s wedding and falls in love with a spoiled but lonely Dukes daughter. A young woman who has always wanted to travel and experience adventure, falls for a gentleman who travels with his best friend discovering new scientific plants.
I would read til my eyes burned… lol
I love historical romances and these rate right at the top.

An excellent selection of regency romances. The authors that contributed selections are all top-notch and their stories reflect their abilities as writers beautifully! I could not pick out one over all of the others as a favorite since they were all so well-written. A great way to be introduced to the writings of these wonderful authors!

This is an absolutely delightful set of 5 different historical romances from 5 different authors. They all feature different characters and circumstances; the one thing binding them is a charming rogue and a sweet lady finding love. Alluring men, spirited – sometimes headstrong – ladies, humor, miscommunication, change, and redemption all play roles in these stories. They are all low-angst with sweet ladies and swoon-worthy gents. I was familiar with the writing of authors Sue Brown, Dawn Brower, and Amanda Mariel, but this collection also introduced me to a couple new authors, Sophie Barnes and Tabetha Waite. So, I got 5 sweet romances, plus a lead on two new authors to enjoy. A Win-Win for me.

I really liked this collection. The characters were great and I fell in love with them easily. I liked how they interacted and their dialogue as well. The romance was wonderful and heartfelt, and in some of these stories, steamy. These were great stories all combined to make a great anthology. I loved the story lines and enjoyed the romance. I would definitely recommend this collection to anyone looking for the classic, enjoyable romance.
A must read great collection. This was a wonderful collection of romances about rogues and the women that takes them. These stories are great as these rogues are used to being the one in control but these wonderful women find them and the rogues change as they want these women for the rest of their lives! The characters and storylines are different and great reading enjoyment!

WHEN LOVE LEADS TO SCANDAL by Sophie Barnes
A charming and delightful scandalous love triangle. Charles best friend Robert was engaged to the woman Bethany of his dreams. But Charles and Bethany never encouraged each other out of respect for Robert. On Robert and Bethany’s wedding day all heck broke loose. The ending was bittersweet. A nice read.
ONE LESS SCANDALOUS EARL by Dawn Brower
One swoon worthy romance. A wallflower and an arse of an Earl. Kaitlin was in love with Gregory but her love was unrequited. Gregory had settled in his own mind he would never marry. One beautiful ball, one gorgeous belle and Gregory fell like a ton of bricks for Kaitlin. Although he hid it with his sarcasm, she was convinced he did not care. It took her best friend who was Gregory’s sister to open her eyes. The fun part of the story was all the back and forth between Kaitlin and Gregory. Then to top it all off her fifteen-year-old brother became her protector and demanded Gregory explain himself to him. Kaitlin smiled. It was a sweet moment. A lovely story.
WALLFLOWER’S FOLLY by Amanda Mariel
I absolutely loved this story and the main characters Olivia and William. Olivia felt resentful for being betrothed since childhood and being ignored for fifteen years. Now William came to her out of necessity not love. She would have none of that. The things she did were to dissuade him were hilarious. She was truly acting hoydenish and she came to enjoy it. William obviously knew what she was up to and decided to woo her into marrying him. But still that was not enough for Olivia. She wanted the whole shebang. After one passionate earth-shattering kiss something started to change between them. William knew they had passion and as far as he was concerned that was enough. Still Olivia was not having it. An excellent story. I absolutely loved this and highly recommend it.
BEDEVILING LORD COXFORD by Tabetha Waite
An amazing enemy to tentative flirty antagonizing friends to lovers. I adored the dichotomy of the main characters Honoria and Royce. Exact opposites in every way on the outside. But the haughty ice queen really did have a warm-blooded heart and it beat only for Royce. It was ashamed that her father was a cold-hearted b@st@rd. He regarded her as a duty not like a part of his own flesh and blood. The author made the dialogue between Royce and Honoria very realistic. As a reader I am sure we have all come in contact with a person like Honoria. But as the story reveals itself, one never knows what their home life is like. For Honoria it was lonely and with never any affection from either of her parents. Her whole life had been that way. It was amazing that Royce was eventually able to see beyond her outside personality. An inspiring story full of a different kind of romance and love. I highly recommend it.
THE WALLFLOWER’S ROGUE by Sue London
When I turned the last page, I said to myself “Oh it’s over?”
I wanted the adventure to go on and on. I could not help but get caught up in Regina’s exuberance for life and adventure. Every scene she had dialogue in I was just as excited as she was. She met the very man that she had been following in the new about his travels around the world. How exciting. Rex never thought of marrying. But when Regina was before him his breath was taken away. I loved Regina’s bold and daring acts to ensure her future would contain many adventures with Rex. A great story. Loved it. I highly recommend it.

*** Reviewing “ONE LESS SCANDALOUS EARL” by Dawn Brower ***
This author never disappoints! This book presents a heartwarming historical romance about Gregory Cain, The Earl of Shelby, and Lady Kaitlin Evans. Gregory has graciously decided to assist Kaitlin by finding a husband for her after he has refused to kiss her. But his major obstacle is whether he will actually be willing to allow someone else to have her hand? This story is delightful and provides the reader with wonderful, charming characters we can easily care about.
Grab your copy of this box set and enjoy the variety of rogue-related tales that the authors have gathered for you. You will absolutely enjoy this set!
Great collection
When Love Leads to Scandal – Sophie Barnes
The things you almost do for love. Thanks to a young Cupid Charles and Bethany
were saved from their misguided sense of duty. Everyone around them with the exception of Robert could see they were in love. True love always wins in the end.
One Less Scandalous Earl – Dawn Brower
This was my third time to read this one. And it just gets better every time.
If they’re all like the Earl of Shelby sign me up. Shelby and Kaitlin were meant for each other. The perfect combination for a balance that equals true love. Dawn Brower never disappoints me if you like a story not big on angst and big on true love and romance I think anyone will find this pleasing
A Wallflower’s Folly – Amanda Mariel
Fate – events beyond a persons control. Folly – a foolish act or idea.
Little did Lady Olivia know that her foolishness would lead her right to her fate. Something she was trying to escape. William, the Duke of Thorne had came to collect his betrothed was a bit at a loss as why Olivia was against it. It had only been fifteen years since they had last spoke. He also informed her he needed a mother figure for his three younger sisters. Olivia should have jumped at that. Once William discovered he was in love with her he really worked hard to prove his love for her. I liked when he said to her at the wedding “We can do as we please”.
Bedeviling Lord Coxford – Tabetha Waite
Lady Honoria may have been a Lady by title, but she was anything but.
Honoria was was too prideful for most of the book. I was beginning to think she was beyond redemption. Poor Penelope had I been her I would have surely slapped Honoria at least twice. Luckily Royce, the Baron Coxford could see something in Honoria that was worth the effort. In the end she took a good look at herself and found love with Royce.
The Wildflower’s Rogue – Sue London
Regina was certainly a girl who knew her own mind. How fortunate to meet Rex her perfect love. There was some of that does he/she or doesn’t he/she but it wasn’t drawn out. Nice clean story.

This is such a treat! Five very different and wonderfully written stories bound together in one collection. Each story has emotional conflict, an aha moment and a surprise. All are very well done, entertaining and enjoyable. It is a good way to sample different authors and their writing styles.
When Love Leads to Scandal – Sophie Barnes
Bethany meets Charles the day after she accepts Robert’s marriage proposal. Of course there is a spark between them, and since Robert and Charles are friends, they find themselves together often. Even though Robert in an inattentive fiance, Bethany willnot call off the wedding and cause a scandal. The anguish Charles and Bethany feel is palpable, but neither one wants to hurt Robert, even at the expense of their own happiness. This is a wonderfully told story that will have you holding your breath and hoping for a happy ending.
Bluestockings Defy Rogues – Dawn Brower
This is a quick cute story. Kaitlin has been in love with her friend’s brother for a long time. He, of course, is a notorious rake. She is shy and awkward in social settings. One day he actually notices her and things change. The characters are fun and charming, and the story leaves you smiling.
A Wallflower’s Folly – Amanda Mariel
Olivia and William have been betrothed since they were children. Fifteen years goes by and she has not seen or heard from him. When he shows finally announces that it is time to marry, Olivia has other ideas and tries to get out of the contract. A cat and mouse game begins that is delightfully entertaining.
Bedeviling Lord Coxford – Tabetha Waite
Royce came to London to celebrate his friend’s nuptials. There he met his friend’s fiance’s cousin, Honoria, the haughty daughter of a duke. They were like oil and water, pushing each other’s buttons and engaging in verbal jousting. They soon discovered that there is a fine line between love and hate. This is a wonderful story that is so well written, that you can just see the two of them antagonizing each other. There is even an unexpected twist near the end. Very well done.
The Wildflower’s Rogue – Sue London
This is a different and sweet story in which Regina meets a world traveler, Rex, about whom she has read. She pushes herself into his life in an unexpected and endearing manner. Rex finds himself surprisingly drawn to her and her desire for adventure. They are quite cute together.
