The offer – $20 billion split between four leading scientists on alternative energies to purchase and then squash their research lines, which include the recent discovery of a powerful new energy source capable of replacing mankind’s reliance on fossil fuels. There’s no doubt their discovery is worth ten times that much. But will any one of them live if they refuse? At the same time, the greatest … the same time, the greatest technological advancement in warfare since the creation of the Atomic bomb has been discovered, and is being offered to the highest bidder.
There is just one problem though; the seller might no longer have any control of the weapon.
Can Sam Reilly weave his way through the web of industrial and political espionage before the human race loses its greatest fight for survival?

Good read!
Entertaining read. While a bit far fetched, this book kept my attention. Good character development and interesting story line.
Thought provoking.
Really liked the plot
Awesome Reading!
I highly recommend this book. It’s fast moving and creative. The characters were very enjoyable to read about.
This is one of the worst books I’ve ever read! I made it all the way through because I kept thinking the ending must be better. Wrong…it got worse! Only my opinion but I would don’t waste your time.
A little bit too far out and unbelievable.
I enjoyed the action in this one. Kept my attention.
This book presents some very interesting premises. I’d say that the writer has it all together in the way he inserts some interesting ‘twists’ as the story evolves
Loved it. Very unpredictable. Great adventure and definitely kept me guessing until the end.
I love all of his books! Aways waiting for a new one!
Great book. Encouraged me to read 3 previous books.
Just ok.
Interesting concept and presentation. A lot of twists, turns and surprises as story goes along. Ending could have been better presented. More adventures to come
I could hardly put this book down as I wanted to know what was going to happen. It made me want more of Sam.
Wonderful read. Perhaps a little too realistic.
Genre is science fiction. Most of the dialogue is techno-babble. Characters are two-dimensional at best. Found it slow going because I could only take one or two chapters at a time. Stuck with it only to try to see if I could make any sense out of it.
Like previous Sam Reilly stories, filled with fascinating detail, wild and heroic action, novel ideas and page-turning excitement. Keep it up!
I like how the author mixed in science throughput the book. Plot twists were also fun.
