DylanI’m the crown prince of Villroy, but instead of taking the king’s throne like I should have, my father got us all exiled. I’d complain, but he had good reason. Now our once royal family lives in Brooklyn, and I’m about to inherit a new kingdom: my uncle’s construction business. It’s an opportunity to build my real estate empire and make something of myself. All I need is an experienced … an experienced person to help take it to the next level. And then the girl who grew up next door to me—all woman now—shows up with just the business experience I need.
Too bad Ariana Bianchi hates me. I used to think it was undeserved—fallout from our families’ longtime feud—but there was this one time…
Ariana

It’s the reason for my divorce—he didn’t want kids—and at thirty-one the clock is ticking. So when the gorgeous pig of a man, Dylan Rourke, shows up at my parents’ house to ask me to work as a consultant for his company, I see an opportunity. He wants something from me? Yeah, well, I want something in return, too.
Only Dylan makes this way more complicated than it needs to be.

Kylie Gilmore knows how to write a great romance book and Rogue Prince is definitely a GREAT read! I have loved all The Rourkes series books and can’t wait to read more! Rogue Prince is a wonderful love story with sizzling chemistry, crazy honest meddling mothers and true life struggles. This is a MUST read!
Ariana Bianchi thought she had it all, an awesome job, a loving husband, and a nice house…until she didn’t. Ariana wanted kids and her husband didn’t—at least not with her. After divorcing, Ariana returns home to figure out her life. The one thing she knows for certain is she wants kids. As soon as she finds a job and a place to live, Ariana is heading to the sperm bank! That is until she runs into her mortal enemy—Dylan.
Dylan Rouke, aka Crown Prince of Villroy, is about to become CEO of his uncle’s construction business. While he will become CEO, the business will belong to he and his brothers equally. While it’s successful, Dylan wants to breathe new life into the business by adding a real estate venture. Dylan wants to rejuvenate Brooklyn and give back to the community by adding playgrounds or community centers for the children. He convinces his brothers to work with him in this venture, but he needs to find funding. His dad, who was exiled from Villroy for marrying a commoner, wants him to ask his cousin and current King of Villroy for the money. Dylan wants to find another way as it doesn’t feel right. When he discovers Ariana’s background in real estate can help him reach his goal, he offers to hire her as a consultant. Only she has a request of her own…
I loved the Hatfield and McCoy feel to the story! Hilarious! If I had a mother like Ariana’s I’d HIDE! She’s what I envision as a true New Yorker! She almost steals the show with her antics. The sidewalk “chats” with Dylan’s mom, even though they were mortal enemies, were priceless! I enjoyed revisiting King Gabriel and Queen Anna. Mila was an absolute doll and PopPop—hugs! This was an EXCELLENT enemies to more story, a true fairy tale! I highly recommend this novel and can’t wait to read the rest of the series. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
Oh my royal heart!!! If you want a romantic, low angst, beautiful second-chance love story…THIS IS IT!
Royal prince-turned-construction company owner, reunites with girl next door, who he deflowered years ago. Ariana has never forgotten that time of her life and thought (incorrectly) that he walked out quickly after, because he didn’t like her.
The characters, storyline, and backstory make this a light, quick, and super enjoyable read! The supporting characters were fun and entertaining as well! There were definitely some laugh-out-loud moments! I really, really liked this story and loved how I felt after reading it! My heart is full! 5-crown topping stars!
Rogue Prince ( The Rourkes Book 7) by Kylie Gilmore is a romantic story that I loved reading. I loved Dylan who would of been king if it wasn’t for his father following his heart and married for love and having to advocate his throne in Villroy. Dylan’s inheritance is a construction company in Brooklyn. Ariana the girl next door returns home from California after her divorce and has always had a crush on Dylan but the families hate each other. Dylan and Ariana relationship is intense, funny and romantic. Their families are very involved in their relationship and Ariana mother wants her married so she could have a grandchild and pushes Dylan at her. Great beginning to the Rogue series and can’t wait to read about the rest of the Rogue Rourke brothers. I highly recommend reading this book. I received this book as an arc for an honest review of it.
What a romantic story! This one just pushed all my happy buttons. There was excellent banter, serious chemistry, and good emotion without unnecessary angst. I flew right through it!
After reading Royal Shark, I was a little worried that Dylan was going to be angry and difficult. He had good reason for being hard on Adrian, but I didn’t want to read a whole book about it. I was happy to see a completely different side of Dylan in here. He is so tender with Ariana, and he shows excellent manners with her parents. He laughs and teases and is lots of fun. I totally fell for him.
Ariana has some good reasons to be bitter or angry, but she is focused on moving forward. I liked that about her. I also liked her humor and bravery. She and Dylan are explosive every time they get into a bedroom, and she isn’t afraid to ask for what she wants. She is a strong woman with a soft heart.
Dylan and Ariana’s parents add so much humor to the story! I loved them. I also really enjoyed the way the original Rourke family split was handled. I may have sniffed my way through that part. Meeting this group of Rourke brothers was fun, and I am excited to get to know them all.
Dylan and Ariana’s enemies to friends to lovers story was a fun adventure in Rogue Prince by Kylie Gilmore, book seven in The Rourkes series. Dylan is the oldest of all Rourke children, making him the crown prince, but because his dad was exiled he will never rule the kingdom of Villroy. Instead he’s about to inherit his uncle’s construction business. This makes it the perfect time for him to build a real estate empire and make a name for himself and his brothers. Dylan is in need of someone with real estate experience to help him. He never expected that person to be the girl next door, now all grown up. Unfortunately, Ariana Bianchi hates Dylan; or do she. Newly divorced and living at her parent’s house, Ariana is looking for work and planning on using a sperm bank to help her have the baby she wants, much to the dismay of her mother. Having kids was the reason for her divorce as her ex did not want them. When Dylan asks Ariana to work as a consultant for his company, she decides to make a bargain with him. Only Dylan wants more than to just be a sperm donor and Ariana is unsure she wants to get involved with him. At least until they play horizontal tango. That just might her willing to move in with him.
Ms. Gilmore wrote a wonderful, sexy, and moving tale filled with sexual chemistry, challenging situations, and endearing characters that is not to be missed. I loved how Dylan and Ariana naturally fell in love and created a future together that neither ever expected. I highly recommend Rogue Prince to other readers.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Loved this emotionally thrilling journey with the exiled Rourkes and all the fun charters I have come to know and love over all the previous adventures! This adventure is an action packed, engaging, sexy, witty and hart racing journey filled with undeniable passion and centered around an highly relatable and exciting couple. Loved it!
Warning: don´t start reading this before going to sleep. It will keep you awake all night!!! Dylan and Ariana’s romance is totally up side down. Childhood neighbors whose families had a fight, they kept each other´s distance until shortly before she left for college. But their special and only tryst was an unforgettable one. Ten years later, a broken and love discredited Ariana returns to her parents’ house, where she meets Dylan again. They soon start a relationship that seems to fill both their interests: Personal (hers) and professional (his). But that first encounter comes back to ignite this relationship to something much bigger than either one have never hoped for. Kylie is capable to bring complex characters (not only the main ones!) with great depth and many layers that we can´t get enough of exploring further. We laugh, empathize, fall in love along with them and the only certainty is that in the end it will be a HEA with a royal plus!!
Kylie, made my heart soar with this one. From the gruff protector to the romantic Prince. Dylan was my everything. He always had a plan for every aspect and obstacle that stood in his way…. well he did after his initial invitation that had him running confused.
Hey we all have to learn sometime.
Redemption, inheritance, and education made it all come full circle. A business dinner of sorts. Add in a nosey over-bearing mother, with puns for days, and you have mending fences. A bridge leading to romance, and an American Brooklyn Princess. Welcome home Ariana. You too Daniel.
Rough around the edges scores a regal beginning and rides shotgun into your heart. Gilmore is back with an all new branch of royal heartthrobs. This time on the other side of the pond. Rogue Prince is less formal and all heart. Dylan is the man who should be king. Ariana is the woman he can’t forget. Though the past has not always been kind to these childhood nemeses, can the present bring them everything they’ve been searching for? Be ready to laugh, sizzle and smile because Dylan and Ariana are only one click away.
I honestly loved this one! 5 royal stars for this one! Kylie has taken this royal series to a new level with this one!
We are headed to the Brooklyn exiled royal family! And we start with the oldest, Dylan, who had his father not been exiled, would be the next in line for King of Villroy. He’s bitter as he is in Villroy for his cousins wedding. Time to move past being exiled, the cousins are trying to forge a new united front.
Dylan just found out his uncle is retiring, and leaving him the business, but he’s nervous, he doesn’t have the contacts his uncle has, when his dad says he’s going into real estate to help them go in a new direction, he thinks of his next door neighbor, Ariana, who is back in town and has experience in this field. Only problem is their families are in a long time feud, can these two get their families on board to get past their feud?
I don’t want to give too much away, I just love this new twist of royals, some parts will bring a tear to your eyes! Grab this one as soon as possible!
Ariana is back in NY after a failed marriage left her more shattered than she could have ever expected. The last thing she needs to deal with is the attitude and teasing of the guy she grew up next door to. Then there is her over-the-top mother who can’t keep her opinions to herself, the years long battle over a missing serving spoon, Arianna’s dusty eggs, and a man who thinks he’s a prince making humor abound through this book.
Dylan Rourke’s father abdicated the thrown of Villroy years ago to follow his heart and marry the woman he loved. Now Dylan and his brothers will find themselves with a challenge they didn’t expect but will face it the way the Rourkes always have. Then Dylan finds himself, after many years, once again trading wits with the girl next door, a woman he quickly realizes has been the missing link in his life.
Sweet, sexy, and nothing lost in the location of these Rourke cousins. I LOVED it and can not wait for Royal Gentleman!!
I received an ARC and voluntarily offer this review.
This series by Kylie Gilmore has been some of the most entertaining stories I’ve read & enjoyed in a while. They are “laugh out loud” hilarious & very family oriented. The romance is hot & sexy & the connection between Ariana & Dylan is intense. I really enjoyed their characters & enjoyed learning about the US family branch.
Dylan started out a little bitter that his father was disinherited for falling in love with a commoner & marrying her. As he began to know the other side of the family, his attitude changed. He became more open & as he was looking for someone to help him get his real estate business moving, someone from his past moved home.
Ariana was Dylan’s next door neighbor & she’s crushed on him forever. After one night together, she headed to college & didn’t come back. Until she ended up divorced. Now, as she & Dylan get closer, will her dreams come true? Can they end their families feud or will it break them apart?
I wasn’t sure if I would like this book as much as the other royals. I did!
Dylan is gruff but honest. Tough but gentle. Hot and sexy! He knows he wants Ariana for more than a fling and can be a little patient while pushing her to give more of herself than she may be ready to give.
Ariana hates Dylan. That sexy swine she grew up living next door to who used to tease her. After moving home following her divorce 6 months ago she sees him. Still thinks he’s a swine and even sexier than the last time she saw him when she was 18. When they meet up running, he confides in her and she blurts out things she never meant to share.
Dylan asks Ariana to a business dinner to pick her brain. Now that he’s running the family business he wants to expand and Ariana has the experience and knowledge that can help make that happen. Ariana wants a baby and Dylan just may make for the perfect baby daddy sperm donor.
Dylan has more elaborate ideas in mind. Like the best mind-blowing sex of her life. And more
I just love the Rourke series!!!
Rogue Prince brings us Dylan, the oldest of the Brooklyn Rourkes.
A great story of second chances, frenemies to lovers, family rivalries and chemistry that is off the charts.
I have to say, I think Dylan is my favorite.
I loved this book!! Dylan and Ariana have such chemistry and they both KNOW what they want. This is the seventh book in The Rourkes series but the first featuring the exiled Brooklyn clan.
Dylan should be crowned prince of Villroy however his father abdicated the throne to marry his mother and their family was exiled. They started over in Brooklyn, NY. Now Dylan has been made CEO of his uncle’s construction business. His uncle retired and gives the business to his six nephews. Dylan has a great job and is looking to expand it, he owns his own home and he’s ready for something serious.
Ariana grew up next door to Dylan and she choose him once. But that didn’t go so well… or did it? Anyway, she is now a divorcee living back at home with her parents and desperately wanting to become a mother. She has it all planned out and picked out.
Enter Dylan with the need for her know how and maybe her whole plan will go out the window. Maybe she’ll choose Dylan again….
I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review. And my honest opinion is….this is the best one yet!!
Rogue Prince by Kylie Gilmore was a very well written story that was just a joy to read. OMG it had me laughing out loud and kept me smiling through out the whole book. In this book we get introduced to the American Rourkes, their father was exiled from the royal family of Villroy, He has made his home in Brooklyn and had his family. Now the oldest Dylan is getting ready to inherit a different kingdom his uncle’s construction company and maybe start a real estate company, but he is lacking the experience in the real estate part. That is where Ariana comes in she has the experience plus there is a bit of history between the two. She has returned home newly divorced and ready to find a job a place to live other then her parents place and ready to have a baby from a sperm donor. That is just the beginning to one great story I couldn’t put this book down, it is a must read one book I highly enjoyed and recommend. This is #7 in the series and I think this is my favorite, I absolutely loved Dylan and Ariana they had some great chemistry and passion. In my opinion the other characters just added so much more fun to this story, can’t wait for more. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
I love the Rourkes and Dylan is just as loveable as his Villroy cousins. Ariana and Dylan have known each other their whole lives but nobody expected them to move in together, especially when their families have been feuding for decades. This book is full of familial guilt trips and parental disapproval but also about rebuilding lost connections. It is sweet, sexy, and funny and I think my favourite line from the book is Dylan’s not quite apology “I shouldn’t have…whatever you think I did.” it is such a guy thing to say but it made me laugh.
Dylan is the crown prince of Vilroy. His father got them all exiled, but Dylan feels his dad had good reason. They now live in Brooklyn, and Dylan is about to inherit a new kingdom, his uncle’s construction business. It is an opportunity to build a real estate empire and make something of himself. All he needs is an experienced person to help take it to the net level. Then Ariana, who grew up next door to him, shows up with just the business experience Dylan needs. Dylan and Ariana do not have a good history. Ariana is newly divorced and crashing at her parents’ home until she gets her life on track. She ultimately wants to have a baby with the help of a sperm bank. That is the reason for her divorce; he did not want kids and she feels at 31 her clock is ticking. When Dylan shows up asking for Ariana’s assistance, she sees something she wants in return. Dylan makes this more complicated than it needs to be. – Dylan is romantic, and I love the way he treats Ariana after they are grown. Both their families are interesting. This is a very good romance.
